Calvin is lying on the bed of the truck, sleeping peacefully. "Luckily for Calvin, the hologram missed his gem by about an inch". Pearl said " if it had hit his gem, who knows what could have happened ". "He's very lucky, very very lucky" Amethyst said before biting into a sandwich. "How come Calvin didn't go into his gem?" Steven asks. "Well the wound wasn't bad enough for him to go poof" Pearl explains "I also think it's because he's a half gem, I'm not even sure if he can retreat into his gem to heal". Peridot overhears the conversation and looks over to the truck with a worried look on her face. "Are you sure he's going to be fine?" Peridot asks Garnet. "He'll be fine" Garnet answers "now shhh...he needs his rest". "Can I do something first?" Peridot asks. "Sure" Garnet answers "take your time". Peridot rushes over to Calvin's corner and grabs his blanket. She brings to the truck, climbs up the side and puts the blanket on Calvin. Peridot then sits on the roof of the truck. "I'll keep an eye on him for now" Peridot says "but then we got to work on the drill again". Amethyst rolls her eyes "what ever floats your boat". "What's a floats your boat?" Peridot asks. "It basically means whatever's fine with you" Amethyst says "now I'm gonna take a quick nap, let me know when we gotta work again". "I need to go to bed too" Steven says as he yawns "Good night". "Good night Steven" Garnet says.
