"WHAT?!?!" Everybody yells except Calvin. "Yeah" said Calvin "my dad is human and my mom is a gem". "Do you know what that means?" Steven said excitedly. "What?" Said Calvin. "We're half gem buddies!" Steven said as he hugged Calvin. "Whether you like it or not". Said Garnet with a smile on her face. Calvin smiles as well, " I'll do what I can to help".

Few days later...
"Log date 7 2 3 2, it's been a few days since 'the Calvin' has joined the team". Peridot says into her recorder. "Although we made progress on the drill, we've stumbled across a problem that even I, Peridot, can't solve, I fear we won't stop the cluster in time, Peridot out". Peridot goes back to the drill and starts fiddling around with the wires, all of a sudden the drill starts. " NOT AGAIN! " Peridot shouts. "Don't worry I got it!" Steven shouts as jumps into the cockpit. Peridot runs as the drill chases her, she fears she'll be destroyed when suddenly "PERIDOT!" Calvin shouts as he jumps in front of the drill and tackles Peridot out of the way, hugging her close to him as they roll away. Steven stops the drill by pulling a wire. Calvin is huffing and puffing and asks "Peridot are you OK?". Peridot is hugging Calvin's shirt tightly "y-y-yeah I'm OK". Calvin gets up " ummmm Peridot? You can can let go of my shirt" he says. Peridot drops to the ground "thanks, oh no MY GLASSES!" She says as she looks around. "Oh here they are" Calvin says. As he's about to give Peridot her glasses he stops suddenly, with a surprised look on his face. "Um Peridot? Can I tell you something?". "What?" She says, looking at Calvin curiously. "You look beautiful without your glasses on". Calvin says as Peridot takes her glasses back. "Thank you" Peridot says as she's blushing "We should get back to work if we want to save the world". "OK" Calvin says
