As Steven, Calvin and Peridot teleport back to the barn Steven asks Calvin "wait... Why were you skateboarding on the pier?"." Well" Calvin says "I was on my way to the music shop when I decided 'well why don't I use the pier as a shortcut' and you saw what happened, I got out of control on my skateboard and crashed into you two". "How did you lose control ?" Peridot asks. "Well" Calvin explains "the pier was too slippery and I have a tendency to be clumsy". "What's a clumsy?" Peridot asks as they arrive at the barn. "It's a part of some people's personality when they do things by accident usually resulting in accidents" as Calvin finishes explaining, Pearl runs up to Steven. "Steven!" She shouts as she's hugging Steven "where have you been? We were worried!". "More like Pearl was worried" said Amethyst as she and Garnet are carrying a large gem drill. "Who's this?" Said Pearl. "I'm Calvin" he says as he extends his hand to Pearl for a handshake. "Well it's nice to meet you Calvin but right now we need to work on the drill and it's too dangerous for a human to be around". She says as she finishes the handshake. "Wait" Steven yelled "Calvin is a gem, he wants to join us!".
