"Ack!" Calvin screams, feeling the spear go through him. Calvin falls to the ground, holding his side. "You... Can't defeat...me that easily" Calvin says, getting back up, still holding his side "I...am a... CRYSTAL GEM!" He shouts, thrusting his sword into the eye. The cluster falls backwards, screaming in pain. Suddenly, the cluster poofed, leaving a large gem in it's place. Garnet runs quickly to the gem, bubbling it "it is done" she says. As the dust settles, Steven notices Calvin on the ground "Calvin!" He shouts, running to him. Peridot notices Calvin on the ground as well, a look of terror on her face as she sprints towards Calvin. "Calvin!" Peridot says "no no no, this can't be happening". Peridot cradles Calvin's head in her arms, on the verge of tears. Calvin looks into Peridot's eyes "Peridot?" Calvin asks. "Yes Calvin?" Peridot says. Suddenly Calvin puts his left hand on the back of Peridot's head, pushing her head against his, his lips clash against hers. Peridot's eyes are wide open with surprise. "Just something I've wanted to do for a while" Calvin says. He glows for a little bit before disappearing into his gem. Calvin's gem falls into Peridot's lap, tears fall onto his gem. Peridot asks, tears running down her face "will he come back?". "If he's able to return into his gem" Pearl says, trying not to cry as well "then he should return to us in time".

Few hours later...
"Peridot?" Steven asks. "Yes Steven?" Peridot says, still upset. "I made Calvin a spot for where we can place his gem" Steven says, holding a basket with a little pillow in it. Peridot hesitates a little, but starts to put Calvin's gem in the basket. Suddenly, the gem begins to glow brightly. A glimmer of hope appears on Peridot's eyes "Calvin?" She asks
