I awoke to see a room full of bubbles with gems in them, fear darted to my gem in horror as my face twisted in fear as I grabbed onto my lock, pulling the slightly. "Oh stars..."

"They're going to harvest me..." I muttered, my voice cracking slightly.

I fell to my knees, looking around more of the gem collection room to see a small little human thing. I stood up and he walked up to me. "Hi, I'm steven" he smiled. I looked at him curiously, confusion filling my entire form as I gazed down at the little lifeform.

I knelt down further and shook his hand as a sign to greet him even in my moment if confusion "Hello...Steven? May I ask if you know where I am?"

Her smiled smugly, tapping his chin for a moment before answering me. "I'll tell you if...you tell me your name!" He said brightly, pointing a finger at me in excitement, bringing slight warmth to my gem...he reminds me of someone. "I'm rainbow moonstone..."

Stars popped up in his eyes at the mere mention of my gem. I stood up, causing Steven to gasp due to me height, after we chatted for another few moments, the sound of a door opening called my attention and I looked up at a door to see three gems. A pearl, a defective amethyst and a strange fusion...have i seen two of them before? "STEVEN.! MOVE!" the fusion said.

The human steven stood in front of me with his hands stretched out wide, protecting me from their attacks. "No! Guys she hasn't even tried to kill me yet even peridot did that!"

The amethyst rapped her whip around me, allowing the Pearl to aim her spear at me but suddenly, I fell on my stomach and hit my forehead against the stone floor and the most sickening feelings hit me worse than one of blue's depressive moments.

I heard a slight crack. I felt my form glirching out already, I felt weak and hopeless. I could feel the crack in my gem, striking all the way up the length of the moonstone. The three gems and the boy gasped.

The boy ran up to me. "W-wait... Don't move I'll...heal you" I nodded softly, trying to answer only for my voice to sound like shattering glass before he licked the tip of his finger and lightly touched my gem. I floated up, my form glowing and lighting up the entire room as the crack in my gem slowly sealed.

The room feel quiet as I drifted back to the flood, I opened my eyes to see Steven with a wide smile and the rest of the gem's still looking wary. "I'm so sorry for intruding on your home but may I ask. Where are my diamonds?". The three looked at each other nervously. The small human sighed and said "My mom... shattered pink diamond and the other three are now after us". The news hit me like a hammer to the head.

I fell to my knees, guilt and paid washing over me like an entire planet crushing me with all it force. Tears stained my cheeks as I cried into my palms. Steven came over to comfort me. "I-is there any way for me to go home?" I asked. They all shook their heads sadly. "You can stay with me! New roommate!"Steven shouted I glee, trying to lighten the mood.

The gems looked at each other but the fusion nodded, the pearl gasped and scolded the fusion.

"Garnet, you can't be serious!"

"It worked for peridot, if anyone can help her, it's Steven" Garnet shrugged as the amethyst let out a hearty laugh. "Ha! Garnet just told you off Pearl! Shut downnn!" She shouted as she continued to laugh.

They led me to a door and when I walked through it I found myself in a wooden house, I gazed around curiously. I walked up to some weird machine that was on a counter. I pressed a button and it made a Bing sound. I leapt back in fright.

The amethyst fell over laughing harder and steven rubbed the back of his neck nervously and walked over to me. "That's a microwave, it heats up food so it will be hot".

I tilted my head and he jumped up with stars in his eyes "Would you like to try some food?! " he asked. I squinted my eyes suspiciously but nodded eventually. Whatever this food was, it was better to gain a quick knowledge of it sooner rather than later.

After a minute, I was sitting down on a chair near the counter when steven came up to me with a thing he called a 'sandwich'. I took a bite and my eyes lit up. I danced around the room. "HALF-GEM CHILD, THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL THING IN THE UNIVERSE!" He laughed and made some more 'food' for me as we both laughed, ate and talked.

*time skip*

I sat down on the sand gazing up at the sky as the waves crashed lightly against the shore bringing me some form of comfort. Tears filled my eyes as the memory's came flooding back.

I wiped my cheeks and laid down. I closed my eyes while listening to the sound of the waves collapsing down onto the sand. I stayed like this for a bit until all the other gems came up and sat next to me. The peridot sat next to me and asked me a few questions. "So rainbow. I've been told that you cried when you heard that pink diamond was shattered, may I ask why?" I sighed and decided to answer her "Wouldn't you cry if you found out that yellow diamond was shattered, the person who allowed you to take form and burst from the crust and then... simply like that...was just gone. The diamonds were my family. I helped them rule and they treasured me in return. Pink and I even fused"

They all gasped, more so the Pearl as her hands clasped over her lips and Steven ran up to me. "You really fused with a diamond?! Can you show us what it was like!?" He asked. I gave pearl and garnet a dirty look, they bowed their heads slightly, they were there the day I was poofed, I remembered it like it was barely a day ago but despite all that,I nodded and my gem made a hollow gram of our fusion. "Tahis is the fusion made by me and pink".

The hollowgram stood tall and proud. Her dress slightly blowing in the wind. I looked up at her with pride and sadness. "This is rainbow diamond" they all gasped. "would you fuse with one of us?" peridot asked as her eyes were as bright as Steven.

"Giant woman..." He muttered softly.

I shrugged "depending if they wanted to" steven gasped and pointed at the lapis that appeared with the group. I shot her a questioning look and she shrugged hesitantly and nodded. "Can't be any worse than with jasper". I felt a pang of worry as she said that. She must have gone through something terrible but maybe I could help her with her trama.

We did a graceful dance and it ended up with me in a dip. We fused to form rainbow laziuli

Steven nearly fainted, garnet had a huge smirk and her face and the rest just gasped. We unfused and lapis gave me a smile and said a soft thanks as a small blush graced her cheeks.

I crouched next to steven "hey steven, wanna fuse?" He had stars in his eyes and screamed a loud yes! We were about to dance when pearl interjected. "No, absolutely not. I'm not allowing this". Garnet grabbed her shoulder and settled her down. Steven quickly reached into his pocket, pulling out his phone and started to play a song and started the danced.

Steven was quicker than most, he jumped around, using his emotions rather than his dance to stabilize the fusion. He raced up to me and jumped with my arms outstretched as the fusion burst to life with a bang.

We fused to form Moonstone quartz.

(ok I know this is rainbow quartz but it kinda makes sense that they would form her but let's say she only looks similar to rainbow quartz)

Everyone gasped and pearl teared up, biting her lip lightly as a face for regret and guilt consumed her expression. "s-she..." she mumbled, her word falling from her mouth.

I could sense the pang of pain in Pearl's gem as memories practically danced past her eyes. Steven was immediately worried and the fusion fell apart as he raced to Pearl's side. Some of the gem's started to console her, as I stood and watched. It was clear the servant gem was in a lot a pain, failing to mourn her lost comrade. I paced up to pearl, my expression empty as I battled with my thought.

I held out my hand, our eyes meeting as she hesitated for a moment and she took it and the memories came flooding back.

It was the first year into pink diamonds colony when I came to visit.

I appeared at the moonbase, my ruby guards bowing slightly as a sign of respect as I nodded in return, finding my way up the stairs that circled the room, lifting up the helm of my dress to prevent myself from tripping on the fabric.

Pink and her Pearl were in the observation room, Pink's smile was as wild as the sun as she gazed at her first quartz soldiers bursting from her planets crust. Their gazes darted to me and pink immediately stood up to race to me. "Moonstone, what a surprise! Come to see my colony have you" She saidb excitedly, causing me to grin in response.

"Yes, my diamond. It looks amazing. You're making great progress" I smiled as I gazed around the room, seeing the shattered cliffs bursting with quartz soldiers, each new one being met with a hug or a welcome. "I wish I could just be there..." Pink swooned.

Her Pearl was the first to respond as she stepped forth. "I'll have us warped to the kindergarden at once, my diamond" Pink raised her hands with a nervous smile. "Oh! No- no if I went down there I would never hear the end of it from yellow or blue. Oh but could you imagine, me down there playing with the amethysts" Pink smiled softly as she began to imagine the fun.

"Of course I can, my diamond!" A projection of what could be lit u other room from the Pearl's gem. "You look so happy..." The Pearl added warmly, pink only frowned. "I won't be so happy when blue and yellow find out"

An idea sparked in my mind. "Oh! I know, you could change your shape, rotate your gem so the others wouldn't know your a diamond"

The other two gems in the room widened their eyes as we all exchanged smirks. "That's brilliant, moonstone!" Her form lit up. Twisting to be viewed as a Rose Quartz, I smiled lightly turning on my heel before she finished. "Goodbye, Pink. I'll see to my duties, do be careful"
