"what is love?" {A/N baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more!} The gems stared "right um..." pearl thought for a moment "I think it best that garnet explains" garnet nods "love is when you feel strong mutual feelings for another person or gem" tourmaline tilted her head "so when the gems on Homeworld insult me endlessly does that mean love?" 

garnet sighed and shook her head "no, that's hate. the opposite of love" tourmaline still had a confused expression "its like, sometimes you have a warm feeling when you look at or think of someone you have strong good feelings for" tourmaline nodded softly, though still confused asked a question "what else are you supposed to feel?" garnet smiled "well sometimes your heart beats faster than usual, and you always feel like smiling" 

tourmaline smiled softly "so...does that mean I love peridot?" she usually had a warm fuzzy feeling when she spoke tech talk and her heart beat faster than usual when she was praised by her and whenever she was with her she always felt like smiling. peridot, of course, was not present as she was with pumpkin somewhere, once tourmaline finished her sentence garnet had a huge grin on her face, pearl was surprised and amethyst was... smirking?, Steven... well "OMG THAT'S SO CUUUUTE" 

tourmaline was confused even more than earlier "what? is it something I said?" garnet chuckled "ask peridot about Percy and Pierre and she'll sum it up for you" tourmaline nodded softly still confused "I guess this was a little lesson on love!" Steven chimed cheerfully making tourmaline smile " I guess so..."

"peridot?" the small green gem looked over at her "yes?" tourmaline chewed her lip as she spoke, "so...garnet told me to ask you about... Percy and Pierre?" peridot's eyes light up "you have made me the happiest gem ever right now..." the green gem grabbed tourmaline's hand and dragged her into the barn in front of an old Television "okay so just know. Percy and Pierre are the most compatible" tourmaline smiled as peridot inserted the tape

After hours upon hours of watching camp pining hearts, the two gems got closer than ever. Sharing their favourite ships and planning a cosplay as Percy and Pierre, peridot obviously claiming Percy. In the meantime, tourmaline was just enjoying her time with her cute little green dorito
