Question 1 of 2: What parts did you play in making the Gem Empire? Some people think you were the sole creator of the Gem Language (Glyphs and other gem-related glyphs) and that you alone oversee the justice system enforce laws within the Empire. Is that true?

Blue Diamond: Most of this is true. I am indeed the Diamond who created our language officially, though we can adapt to other languages from other planets inhabitants if we set our will to do so. And yes I even adapted our language into glyphic symbols and so forth into actual writing.

Blue Diamond: As for our law system, I was not the only overseer of the Homeworld's court of law, Yellow and I did that together as per White's request. As a former quartet leader, I will say I was equally in charge of enforcing our old laws like Yellow, White and Pink also were. I have an extra fact to mention, I was the one who suggested that "Every gem is innocent until proven guilty, under Homeworld's court of law." If it weren't for me, even more gems would have been poofed, shattered or bubbled without a fair trial.

Question 2 of 2: Who came first, I or Yellow? Were you created at the same time? Are you aware that your shade is the most valuable of naturally colored diamonds, or is that sort of system foriegn to the Gem Empire?

Blue Diamond: Yellow was the one who was created first. First White, then Yellow, then me and finally Pink. Not really at the same time, maybe in a span of a hundred year difference between Yellow, Pink and I. Maybe a bit longer between my and Pink's creation gaps. Though White won't tell us how much older she is compared to Yellow and I, sadly.

Blue Diamond: As for the gem value system on, Steven reasured me it's different on Earth than it is *was* on Homeworld. The color of a gem bases on which Authority they will be under- most of the time, there are some exceptions. However, Earthly gem values, we don't really do that. We do it by gem clarity. For example: certain gems were soldiers, servants, technicians, lawyers, etc. You would have to ask White more about that question, she was the one who designed and has put gems were they needed to be- during the Empire.
