Lapis: *War flashbacks.*

Lapis: Yeah no.

Peridot: I kind of agree with Lapis. I don't really feel like fusing at the moment.

Author: Well, you guys were dared to, so you gotta do it.

Lapis: In case you haven't noticed, the last time I fused with someone we turned into this hideous monster and were trapped in the ocean for months.

Author: Well you fused with a big scary gem that just wanted to use you last time. And look at this face! *Points to Peridot* Does this look like the face of someone unstable and who'll hurt you?

Lapis: ...well, no, but-

Author: Then hop to it! *Pushes Peridot into Lapis*

Author: ...I'm a great author who knows how to advance a plot.

Amethyst: Just get on with it!

Steven: We believe in you guys!

Peridot: The author's never gonna let us go until we do this.

Lapis: I realize that.

Peridot: Sooo... are you ready?

Lapis: *Groans* I guess.

*Lapis and Peridot begin to dance around each other, awkwardly. Peridot jumps around and moves her arms, and Lapis tries to twirl and be graceful, but is having trouble because of the awkward situation. The two of them finally stumble into one last twirl together as the start to fuse. They have trouble forming together at first, but eventually start to understand and they become one.*

Steven: 🤩

Garnet: *Gives thumbs up and a smile.*

Amethyst: Woah, they look great together. Nice job.

Pearl: So what's her name going to be?

Steven: *Gasps* TURQUOISE! YOU GUYS SHOULD BE TURQUOISE!

Turquoise: Well then, I guess we're Turquoise. I like it, it gives off a sort of bold, no messin' around feeling!

Steven: Do you guys have any weapons?

Turquoise: I doubt it, seeing as Lapis' weapon are her wings, and I don't have a weapon, other than metal manipulation.

Steven: Aww. ☹️

Turquoise: But we probably still have our water/metal-telekinesis!

Steven: Well, I guess there's something.
*Mumbled:* Not as cool as a weapon though.
