Lapis: What is "eat?"

Peridot: It's when you put food in your mouth, chew it up until it becomes mush, swallow it and expel it out later.

Pearl: Where did you learn what
eating is?

Peridot: Amethyst taught me. I actually found the experience quite enjoyable.

Pearl: Ugh, that's horrible.

Peridot: Whatever a ghost pepper is, it can't be that bad.

[Later]

Peridot: *Crunches into a pepper*

Lapis: *Hesitates before taking a
small bite*

Pearl: *Shakily licks the pepper before Amethyst urges her onto take a bite*

Peridot: Well that wasn't so bad.

Lapis: Yeah, I don't see what the challenge here is.

Pearl, mouth full: Ugggghhhhhh....

Peridot: How uneventful.

Peridot: *Starts gasping dramatically* AAAA! ITS BURNING MY TONGUE!

Lapis: *Begins fanning tongue*

Pearl: *Chokes on the fact that she's eating and the spiciness of the pepper*

Amethyst: *Falls to the floor, laughing*

Lapis: WHA THA HELL? MAH MOUTH ITH OHN FIWE!

Pearl: *Almost starts crying*

Peridot: *Runs to the fridge, tears it open, rips open the milk and chugs it* ITH NOT HELPING!

[At this point, it's just screaming, crying, and laughing. But that last one is only from Amethyst.]

Steven: Shouldn't we help them?

Garnet: Eh, they'll be fine.
