Pearl: *Leaves the room to call up Mystery girl*

*Later in the day, everyone is sitting on the couch, when they hear a knock at he door*

Pearl: *Stands up and opens the door* Ah, Sylvia! It's great to see you again!

Sylvia: Yeah, it's good seein' you too, P.

Pearl: *Awkwardly laughs*

Amethyst: 'Sup Mystery girl?

Sylvia: "Mystery girl?"

Steven: That's the nickname we came up for you, 'cause we didn't know your real name.

Greg: *Stands up, sticks hand out to her* Hey there, I'm Greg. Steven's Dad.

Sylvia: *High fives him* Hey, nice to meet'cha.

Pearl: Well, I think we've done enough greeting for today, why don't we get you home Sylvia?

Sylvia: Why? I think your family is pretty cool, got a lot of interesting characters.

Greg: Pearl, could I talk to you for a minute?

Greg: *Pulls Pearl outside*

Greg: Listen, I know you're worried about me stealing Sylvia away because of what happened with Rose, but you don't have to be scared of that.

Greg: I'm an old man now, and she's like, what? 20-something? Anyway the point in trying to make is, I want to put that whole thing behind us, I don't want you to be nervous with her being around me.

Pea: *Sighs* Maybe I am being a bit paranoid... I'm sorry for that. I'm trying to get better.

Greg: I understand, I'm still recovering too. *Puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder*

Pearl: *Half smiles*

Greg: Now come on, I'd love to hear how things are going between you two.

*Pearl and Greg head back inside the house, and return to the conversation*
