Major Spoilers to those who haven't read Arkham Edition.

#1: A Matter of Morality.

"Did you know...?" in the canon series of Steven Universe, Steven never wanted to shatter gems because he didn't want to be just like the Diamonds. Meanwhile in Arkham Edition, Steven didn't want to shatter gems because of a promise he made to his mother, which implies that Arkham Steven would not have an issue slaughtering gems if Pink Diamond never requested him to make that promise.

#2: Polar Opposites.

"Did you know...?" In canon Steven Universe, it was heavily implied in the series and by Rebecca Sugar that Steven never forgave White Diamond and he distanced himself from the Diamonds and Spinel because he never wanted to be associated with them. This is evident when Spinel said, "you never call, you never write" after he showed up to the Palace when he sought their help with his powers. It's also worth noting that Steven never said goodbye to the Diamonds or Spinel when he left Beach City at the end of Future, because he never once said anything about saying goodbye to them on Homeworld, just everyone he knew on Earth and his father.

However, in Arkham Edition, Steven regularly meets with the Diamonds during the holidays and became closely acquainted with White Diamond, and it is also implied that he developed a mother/son relationship with her. This means that Arkham Steven has a healthier relationship with the Diamonds than his canon counterpart.

#3: Heart Break.

"Did you know...?" In Steven Universe The Movie, it was implied by Rebecca Sugar that Spinel lost her form because she had a heart attack that is called 'Broken Heart Syndrome.' In Arkham Edition, it was implied by White Diamond that Steven had, at least, one heart attack because of his mourning of Spinel, and he suffered the same syndrome as Canon Spinel.

#4: Never Wake Up Again.

"Did you know...?" In Steven Universe Arkham Edition, during Chapter 20: Broken Heart Syndrome, when Steven said in his mind, "Sleep and never wake up again. Better to sleep..." this was 100% ripped from the Author's thoughts when he contemplated suicide.

#5: One Lived Crying, The Other Died Laughing.

"Did you know...?" In Steven Universe The Movie, Spinel was originally supposed to die at the end of the movie by Steven himself. Rebecca Sugar fought hard to not let it happen. Several sources indicates that the reason why Steven shattered Spinel was because she was too dangerous to leave alive. Steven later cried because he didn't want to do it.

Meanwhile in Arkham Edition, Steven contemplated on whether he should save Spinel's life or not. After Spinel cemented her death, Steven confirmed with her in retrospect that he was going to save her life and she died laughing.

#6: "Thanks, Spinel."

"Did you know?" In Steven Universe The Movie, Spinel dangles Steven over a three hundred foot drop by holding onto his wrist with one arm, and in a deleted scene, she dangles Steven over the same drop with both of her hands gripping his collar.

In Arkham Edition, whenever Steven interrogates a gem, he either has a hold of their throat with one arm or dangling them over a drop by holding onto their ankle with one hand. Or he also interrogates them with both hands at their collar if he presses them against a wall or has them on their knees, which could be interpreted that Arkham Steven was taking notes from Canon Spinel.

#7: "You Are Not Pink Diamond, You Are Not Steven Universe!"

"Did you know...?" In Canon Steven Universe, White Diamond cries out, "NO! You are Pink Diamond! That is Pink Diamond's gem! You do not look like this! You do not sound like this! You are not half human! You're just... acting like a child!"

There was a unused scene in Arkham Edition where White Diamond cried out a similar rant.

White Diamond: NO! You are Steven Universe! You are not Pink Diamond! You do not look like her! You do not sound like her! You are not your mother! You're just trying to act like HER!

The context behind this is that Arkham Steven doesn't view himself like a person, but rather the one who took Pink Diamond away and accepts full responsibility to anything that happens to him because of his mother's mistakes, which is evident with his poor self-care after Spinel's death.

#8: "It's Time To Come Out, Pink."

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, one of Steven's nightmares was Pink Diamond reforming inside his body and causing him to explode. The reason behind this was because Steven always imagines that if he were to die, Pink Diamond would reform after his death and he would cease to exist.

Which would be the total opposite to the canon universe, where White Diamond pulled Steven's gem out and instead of Pink Diamond, there was a pink version of Steven and Steven was barely clinging onto life.

#9: Batman.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, there's an interrogation where Steven says, "TALK! Don't make me crack your gem and look for the answers inside."

This is a nod to Batman Arkham Knight, where Batman had a similar dialogue to an informant he was interrogating.

Batman: TALK! Don't make me crack your skull and look for the answers inside.

The same could be said for mostly every other interrogation that Steven performed.

#10: A Darker Story.

"Did you know...?" In Steven Universe The Movie, Steven and Spinel's last confrontation took place on top of Spinel's injector with the bright moonlight behind them and the sun rising after their fight had concluded.

In Arkham Edition, Steven and Spinel's last confrontation took place in the giant crater that Spinel's injector left after it was destroyed, and it was still nighttime after Spinel's death, which is a subtle way of showcasing that Arkham Edition conveys a darker story than the canon series.

#11: Birthday Cake & Hearts.

"Did you know...?" In Steven Universe The Movie, it's speculated that Spinel's attack happened before, during or after Steven's 16th birthday. In Arkham Edition, Spinel attacks Steven during Valentine's Day and Steven's third month of being a hero. Both Stevens were 16 during Spinel's attack.

#12: Twin Minds Think Alike.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, when White Diamond saw Steven's fighting style, she comments to herself, "Astonishing... Such brutality. He almost shattered these gems, almost as if he were ready to abandon his beliefs, everything he stands for."

Black Diamond, who is White Diamond's twin sister, said something similar to that after she saw Steven brutally defeating rebel gems.

Black Diamond: Astonishing... such brutality... You almost shattered these gems. You were ready to abandon your beliefs, everything you stand for.

A subtle way of showing that they're twins because they think alike.

#13: Love At First Fall.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, Steven and Moonlight falling to their deaths and Steven saving the both of them was ripped from Steven Universe AU 2 By Samuel152 when Steven and Moonlight first met each other and nearly killed each other. However, it was more darker in AU2 than Arkham because after Steven saved Moonlight's life, Moonlight tried shattering herself to test Steven's morality, and he stopped her. And later on, she bit into Steven's neck and sucked blood out of it to mark him as hers.

#14: "Thanks, Ellie."

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, Spinel's apology to Steven was 100% taken by the notes of the Author's consultant to characters such as Spinel, Rose The Flower and Huge Gigantacus.

The consultant is GachaEvery.

#15: "I've Seen Worse."

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, Steven appears to be fearless towards things that would normally frighten people.

That is because Steven had already seen much worse things in his mind, because White Diamond damaged his hypothalamus, the part of the brain where it allows you to dream, and Steven could hardly ever get a peaceful dream without nightmares, and the nightmares consist of his enemies killing or torturing him.

#16: "You Need A New Hobby!"

"Did you know...?" in Arkham Edition, after Obsidian defeated Bathia, she said to her, "you need a new hobby," before promptly knocking her out.

This was a nod to Batman Arkham Origins after Batman defeated Firefly.

Batman: You need a new hobby.

And then Batman knocked him out.

#17: "He Has My Eyes, He Has My Face!'

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, Arkham Steven consists the traits and looks from both Stevens from a story titled The Tale of Two Stevens, a AU where Steven Universe meets his human counterpart, and they both look exactly alike, but with subtle differences like their physique, eye color and origins.

Arkham Steven has Stephen's eyes, physique and personality. Arkham Steven has Steven's signature smile, jacket, hair, voice and sense of humor.

#18: Dead Babies & Husbands.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, this is (currently) the only universe where Phoebe Fitzgerald has a happy ending. In every other universe, Phoebe always loses her unborn child and husband.

#19: "Screw Rome."

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, all the important events in the story always take place within one night. This is a huge middle finger to the saying, "Rome wasn't built in a day."

#20: "Time To Take This Seriously."

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, the only villains Steven took seriously up until their defeat was Spinel and Moonlight. Every other villain never had Steven take them as seriously as he took Spinel and Moonlight, which supports the fact that he considers both of them to be his greatest enemies.

#21: "Nice Monocle."

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, Red Crystal's 'monocle' origin story is exactly the same as the Penguin's 'monocle' in the Batman Arkham Games. Both Penguin and Red Crystal received broken beer bottles into their eyes and were mistaken to be monocles.

However, the contrast starts when Red Crystal receives two broken bottles in her eyes while Oswald remains to have one in his left eye. Cobblepot can't remove the bottle from his eye, because doing so would be fatal. It is unknown if its possible to remove Red Crystal's bottles without being fatal.

#22: The Enemy That Loves Me.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, the reason why Moonlight falls in love with Steven is because the Author is fascinated with stories where the antagonist/villain falls in love with the protagonist/hero.

#23: Fairytales.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, Bathia being using dessert items to bait and lure children and humans is a subtle reference to the fairytale story, Hansel and Gretel, where two German kids are lured into a house made of gingerbread, cake and candy by a witch with the intent to devour the children.

The witch uses her sugarcoated house to fatten up the children to make them more tasty and delicious. What's even more ironic is that Bathia is also a witch, which was a coincidence on the Author's part and was not intentional.

#24: "No Swearing!"

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, it is one of the Steven Universe stories with the least amount of curse words, and no f-words or s-words in it. Any time those words are about to be used, they are conveniently cut off.

#25: A Metaphorical Fusion.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, it has been confirmed by the Author that Moonlight is a combination of three Steven Universe villains into one. Jasper, Spinel and White Diamond. Moonlight represents a trait from them.

Moonlight has Jasper's height and physique. Moonlight has Spinel's obsessiveness and clingy personality. Moonlight has White Diamond's pale color and her design prior to her debut.

The story behind Moonlight's appearance is that she was inspired by White Diamond's look from the New Home AU, which was made before White Diamond's official debut. This was based on the picture we saw of White Diamond in 'Serious Steven.'

#26: A Complete Accident.

"Did you know...?" In Arkham Edition, Steven's personality and physique is very similar to Rebecca Sugar's 'Perfect Steven.' This was not known to the Author when he created Arkham Edition, and it was just a coincidence to have made a Steven very similar and identical to what Rebecca had considered to be the 'Perfect Steven.'
