I once made a statement during the first few chapters of Arkham Edition that Arkham Steven would hate Diamond Spinel AU.

Some of you might be confused as to why he would hate something he hasn't even met?

Well, for those of you who don't know the Diamond Spinel AU, it's an AU that possibly would have been Steven Universe Future if the show was meant for young adults instead of children, where the Diamonds never learned their lesson with Pink Diamond and Spinel dressed up as Pink Diamond (something she WILLINGLY chose to do, according to the creator).

And how does Arkham Steven hate her?

For starters, he'd strongly dislike the fact she's wearing his mother's clothes. Arkham Steven, unlike most incarnations of Steven Universe, still loves and respects his mother; holding no resentment towards her. He would also get very angry if someone spoke ill about her and/or deface statues of her, and wearing her clothes.

He doesn't think anyone is worthy to wear her clothes, not even himself.

And then he would not like the fact that Spinel is quite surly when regarding Earth, and how defensive she is when he talks about how the Diamonds are treating her just like Pink Diamond.

He wouldn't take crap from her, the way she threatened him by gripping his collar. 

I don't mean for this to sound like 'Arkham Steven can beat her up because he's my character and just 'cause he can,' because he most likely could. I mean, do you see how he handles most of his enemies in the story?

And as far as her little 'tantrum' and what she did to her ruby guard? With Detective Mode, Steven would unfold her 'little white lie' and who knows what would happen next? 

And I once said I might make a crossover AU (possibly a short story series) where Arkham characters meet Diamond Spinel AU and see how different they really are.

Though, I'm not sure the creator of Diamond Spinel AU would like that.
