Alex's POV
Steven helps me walk out of his house, when we get outside I can see the ocean. "Beautiful..." I say in shock and continue walking "is it ok if you battle on the beach, it's quieter there and there's less people." Steven says while pointing to the beach. "Yeah, I've never been to the beach before. Let's go" I say while letting go of Steven and trying to walk ahead but fail and I lose my balance due to still being weak from the poison. Luckily Steven wraps his hands around my waist before I can hit the floor. He lifts me back up and pulls me to him so my back is against his chest. He leans down "you need to be more careful" he whispers in my ear causing me to blush. "I- um yeah..." I stutter shyly causing him to chuckle softly. "Let's get going" he said before walking forward. I look behind me and see Jesse and Jaden talking quietly, both of them are blushing. I look back ahead and somehow trip over nothing. Steven yet again catches me "sorry" I squeal in embarrassment. Steven just chuckled in reply and walked on.

We've just arrived at the beach and the view is just amazing. "So the rules of this battle, no substitutes and you can have up to 2 Pokemon on your field at a time, items are allowed. Now begin." Steven says from my side,starting off the battle. "Eevee torchic your up" I say as I throw their pokeballs out, a bright light flashes and on the field appear the Pokemon I sent out. "Treecko eevee let's get our game on!" Jaden shouts. "Eevee use shadow ball on treecko, torchic you use ember on eevee" I say confidently eevee jumped in the air and let out a dark ball that headed towards the gecko Pokemon. Torchic drew in a breath and let out a ember aiming at Jaden's eevee. "Eevee use shadow ball on the fire to stop it, treecko use pound on the sand to stop her eevee, then use pound on eevee" Jaden commands. Jays Eevee uses shadow ball on the stream of fire but missed not stopping the attack. Treecko hits the ground with his tail then runs forward at a high speed towards my Eevee and hitting it with his tail. " both Eevee's are unable to battle" Jesse says taking on the role of the referee. "Eevee, well done, now get some rest." I say while returning the Pokemon. "Ralts your up" I say while letting the Pokemon off my shoulder. "Ralts use confusion on Treecko, Torchic use ember on abra" I say. Torchic breathes in again and lets out a stronger stream of fire "that was flamethrower, well done Torchic" I say to the Pokemon. The flame heads towards abra. "Abra use psychic on the fire send it right back at 'em" he says "dodge it" I say to my Pokemon, they dodge the flames but they keep going. There heading towards me and Steven. Steven gets in front of me and is about to get hit. Ralts glows a bright white while crying out its name. "Kirlia" it says and uses psychic to stop the flames and send the upwards. "No way, the Ralts evolved into kirlia" Jesse says. Torchic glares at the abra on Jaden's side and also glows a bright white "combusken" it cries out "let's finish this off. Kirlia use magical leaf on both of them, combusken use flamethrower" I say calmly. Both attacks hit their target directly. "Treecko and abra are unable to battle, the winner is Alex" Jesse says with a proud smile. "Look at what we have here, a group of novice trainers. Let's take them down!" A new person shouts "we're grunts from team aqua, and we're here to take you down." The other new person says. I look at them in fear knowing that our Pokemon are weak due to just battling. "I'll handle this. Combusken, Kirlia, let's win this" I say while throwing the pokeballs, causing the Pokemon to appear.
[AN. The Pokemon on the team have the following moves
Kirlia* psychic, magical leaf, teleport, thunder
Combusken flamethrower, scratch, sky uppercut, double kick
Eevee shadow ball, dig, swift, tackle]
The team aqua grunts throw out carvanha and golbat. "We may have a type disadvantage but we can win this. Kirlia use thunder on golbat then use psychic. Combusken use double kick on carvanha then use sky uppercut" my Pokemon carry out their moves and combusken is injured due to carvanhas rough skin ability. But the team aqua Pokemon have fainted. "Well done Alex" Jesse said, Steven decided to stay quiet and Jaden had ran to the Pokemon centre to heal his injured Pokemon. "We've been beaten, the boss isn't gonna be happy about this" the grunts say as the run away. I sigh and look at my Pokemon "thank you for your help" I say to them before returning combusken as he was injured. Kirlia, as I found out the hard way, hates being inside her pokeball. I allow Kirlia to climb up my shoulder and sit there. "Let's go to the Pokemon centre, we can meet up with jay then" I say teasingly. Jesse blushes a bright red and I laugh quietly.

"I'm glad the poisons worn off fully now." Jaden says with that hyperactive grin. We had just left the Pokemon centre and we're walking back towards the beach. "Hey Jesse I wanna piggyback ride" Jayden says happily. Jesse blushes and stops in front of Jaden... as he ran to catch up to him. Jaden ended up crashing into my brother and tumbling down the slope to the beach. I quickly run down the slope to see if their ok. I get my phone out and take a picture of them. Jesse is laying on the sand with Jaden laying on his chest, both of them are covered in sand...
