Peridot's P.O.V

My morning was proceeding quite accordingly with my hopes and expectations. I had woken up at the crack of 8:00 AM and had gone right to my computer, recounting the fantastic evening that had occurred the previous day. I turned on the machine, but instead of going to play my game, I opened up the site I use to write my own fanfictions. I've researched that many humans do this under the guise of anonymous names, so I thought I'd do just fine fitting in seeing as I saw some based around Camp Pining Hearts. 

None of the Gems know this, but I've liked on Steven ever since that time we spent in the drill during the whole Cluster crisis. And now that he's more than passed the human age threshold of being 18 years old, my feelings have skyrocketed. How that factors into a writing site, though, is because I've been secretly writing my own fanfiction of Steven and I as a couple. My book is titled The Only Clod For Me and, right now, I'm resuming chapter seventeen. I have gotten to a point in the story where Steven and I had confessed our 'deep feelings' to each other and happily share affectionate kisses around the Temple.

I sigh in defeat as I currently stare at the screen, the mostly finished chapter still pulled up. For me, this is the best way to vent my feelings and since Steven appears to not be interested in me, I still want to picture what it would be like if we both did love each other. This book, aside from trying to make fantasy into a reality for me, is also my outlet for some very naughty and dirty thoughts that come across my mind from time to time, most of them involving stuff from Camp Pining Hearts and how I picture me and Steven reciprocating them. Interestingly enough, though, I never knew what 'sex' was until I read some fanfictions and after reading plenty, I was able to write them well enough on my own.

Footsteps now approach from outside and I quickly move to minimize the window so that nobody can see what I'm working on. I quickly grow nervous, but my spirits are quickly lifted when Steven himself walks through the barn entrance. And with my mind still fresh from writing, my thoughts come to me in my writing style, thinking this like "He came to me at last!" and "My noble Steven has come for his Peri Pride!"

But then I look down and grow immediately frustrated at who is in his arms. It's Lapis, entirely naked, and sleeping! Normally, seeing my close friend would be no cause for a major temper tantrum, but in the state she's in right know and the all too obvious context of the situation, I feel consumed with this mixture of sadness, rage, and jealousy. Steven waves to me and puts a finger to his lips, asking me to keep quiet as he sets my bare skinned barn mate down in her 'hammock'. After he carefully places her in the hanging contraption, Steven naughtily squeezes her butt, making Lapis smile and groan in her sleep. All it made me feel was more anger, though. Steven then walks over to me and hugs me from where he stands.

"Good morning, Peridot" The handsome human speaks quietly, his warm breath falling down my neck, "I hope you slept well".

I nod in response, truly feeling well rested after last night. Steven had introduced me to this sleeping ordeal after Lapis had mastered it and ever since then, I've definitely felt more refreshed in the mornings.

"Yes, I certainly did" I whisper back, my lips very faintly brushing his left ear.

I see him blush at this and that makes me smile a bit. We pull back from the hug after a short minute and Steven looks down at the ground, shifting awkwardly from foot to foot.

"As much as I would like to spend some time with you, Peridot, I promised that I would show Blue and Yellow around the city. But, we can make up for that time later this weekend, right?" He offers, transitioning from being nervous to his all lovable generous self.

My cheeks flame up in a darker green color at these words, invoking those very secretive emotions from within me.

"Sure, Steven. We can definitely do that" I reply, scratching the back of my neck.

The hybrid then smiles at me warmly, fixes his gaze on me, and slowly kisses me on the cheek. As his lips make contact with my skin, I feel fireworks exploding in my system, like something that has never happened before. He then winks at me subtly and walks out the barn door, leaving me flustered beyond all recognition with a naked, sleeping Lapis. When he's gone, I reach up and touch the spot he kissed. I rub it over and over, as if I want it to not ever fade away. Part of me wonders if all this was just my imagination, though, since Steven's never been that bold before. I haven't even told him my feelings and he's already kissed me?! I..I'm having trouble processing this. Eventually, though, my deep feelings get the better of me and I'm jumping up and down like a perky cheerleader. I've never felt more happy in all my life and it's all because of Steven. My only wish, though, is that at some point here, he recognizes the emotions I harbor for him.

Because, when he does, I'll be more than willing to strike back with all the love I can muster.

Pearl's P.O.V

I haven't moved from my spot since Ruby and Sapphire's argument with me earlier this morning. I just...ugh. They were right. I was jealous of them getting to Steven, even though I shouldn't be. Steven should be with who he chooses to be with and I shouldn't get in the way. I acted so harsh and rashly mainly because that's my defense mechanism for when it comes to close personal contact and my baby taking part in it. And, yeah, I've scolded the other gems when inappropriate language and vulgar speaking arose, but that's because I felt like I should protect Steven's innocence until the day that I take it from him myself. Anyways, I'm sitting on the couch in the living room, feeling guilty about my behavior with Garnet. I feel as if I should go apologize for speaking out of turn, but just as I get up to head to the Temple Door, the front door opens. I quickly turn my head in that direction and am happy to see that it's Steven.

"Hey, Pearl. I was wondering if you'd like to tag along on my adventures with the Diamonds today. While I know they're not really your kind of crowd, they can kinda grow on you if you let them" Steven says, chuckling a bit at that last part.

I smile and shake my head, my being pulsing with adoration at his kindness.

"I'd love to, Steven" I answer him, walking casually over to him.

My grown man smiles in thanks, standing just a hair or two taller than me. It feels strange sometimes, but I've grown to like it recently.

"Cool. Then please follow me" Steven politely instructs, heading back out through the front door.

I stay behind him and keep pace as he cross the porch, heading down the stairs and towards the car with the shrunken Diamonds standing next to it. The car is actually Steven's, him having received his license just a couple of years prior, which in turn helped him with transportation whenever the team would want to travel across the other parts of the planet.

"Wow, Steven, it seems like you can keep remarkably good track of your Pearl" Blue Diamond compliments.

"Hehe, thanks Blue" Steven replies, sounding a bit embarrassed by the onset praise.

I just stand by and smile, feeling like I'm back the way I was when Pink/Rose was still operating a colony on the Moon Base.

"So anyways, what do you say we check out something special?" Steven proposes.

The Diamonds look confused as to the secrecy of his terminology, but still look to want to continue just as I do.

"If that's what you would like to spend your time showing us, Steven" Yellow answers, caring laced in with that commanding voice of hers.

He nods and goes for the driver's side door. I hop in the passenger seat, even though I know Yellow or Blue would've preferred to sit there instead, and leave the two Diamonds to buckle themselves in the back seats. Steven then starts the car and speeds off down the beach and toward the city. Once he's able to get the vehicle on more stable driving ground, Steven asks if we would like music and Blue eagerly agrees, probably from being a huge music fan herself. The radio is then turned on and some pop song by a human female starts playing. The song plays smoothly as Steven turns and weaves his way through the people and structures located around the city. Yellow looks uncomfortable in the backseat, but I'm not sure if because of the music choice of being stuck back there in the first place.

The song just finishes up as Steven pulls into the parking lot of a relatively new building. He then shuts the car off and steps out, me and the Diamonds following his example. The four of us look up at a sign that reads 'Beach City Kindergarten', the sign hanging at the top of the building. I feel confused because while I know what a Kindergarten is, this doesn't feel like the same type of place. And I feel as if I should already know since I've lived on Earth for many years now.

"Pardon me, Steven, but this does not look like a regular Kindergarten" Blue softly remarks.

"That's because it's not, not a gem one anyway. This is a human Kindergarten. While it may look different on the outside, the building itself has a very similar purpose to what your Kindergartens serve: teaching and training our youth to take their first step in learning" Steven replies, not taking his gaze away from the sign.

"Hold on a second. So, humans even younger than you reside here?" Yellow Diamond asks for confirmation.

"Yes indeed, Yellow. There are many infants and young children here" Steven says, looking back at the brightly colored Homeworld ruler, "Since they're too young to do a number of basic things on their own, parents drop them off here to be taken care of by trusted individuals while they work. And, as a matter of fact, why don't we go inside and see some for ourselves?"

"Are you sure we're even allowed in?" I ask before he goes any further.

"Absolutely, Pearl. After all, I volunteer here all the time. The counselors should know me by sight and I can brings guests in at any time" My love replies.

I'm shocked by this new information, but can't fully process it all before Steven's guiding the Diamonds inside. As his Pearl, I quickly catch up to him and stick close by as he leads us down some brightly lit hallways that sound of children playing and smell of cleaning fluids. Steven stops at a door on his right after a few minutes of walking and knocks before entering. I enter in right behind him, nervous about what I'm going to find, but still make room for Blue and Yellow Diamond. The small space is composed of bright colored furniture and many simple objects. Number lines and alphabet strips make up the walls, giving me a really education driven vibe here. What perplexes me the most about the room, though, is the thirty tiny children sitting in a semi circle around a short blonde haired woman and a balding brown haired man. Both are reading a story to these children until they notice our presence in the room.

"Schtu-Ball! Glad you could come!" Greg says, his voice causing the children to turn around in surprise.

"Hi, Dad" Steven chuckles, looking at him and then the blonde haired lady, "Ms. Vidalia".

She nods respectfully at him and goes back to her reading, though it doesn't do her any good for the children are now more focused on Steven than her.

"Stevie!" A small blond haired toddler squeals, standing up from the group to come over and hug Steven.

He smiles and bends down to be on her level.

"Hello, Daisy" He replies, Blue and Yellow growing wide eyed at all the smaller humans.

"Look at all these tiny humans, Yellow!" Blue geeks out, "They're so adorable!"

"Yes, they certainly are, Blue" The other Diamond replies, grinning at the little girl hugging Steven.

"Did you make them, Steven?" Blue then asks, causing both him and me to sputter in shock.

"No, no, no, no, Blue. I merely help look over these kids while their real parents are busy, either at work or some other important business" Steven answers with blushing cheeks.

I chuckle at his facial expression as Greg shakes his head by Vidalia.

"You Diamonds really do think alike don't you? Rose, or I guess Pink to you guys, thought the very same thing when she first saw a kid" Steven's father gushes, recalling a time when he and Rose babysat the human known as 'Sour Cream'.

"Well, we can definitely see that our Pink was right about how cute they are" Blue Diamond gushes, picking up Daisy with a careful hand.

The kid looks scared at first, but then grows used to the cool colored Diamond.

"Bwue!" The toddler cutely states, pointing at Blue Diamond.

"Why, yes, I am Blue, little one" The monarch giggles, petting the toddler with her finger. 

The child giggles herself, filling me with an unexplainable happiness.

The day passed quickly after that. Yellow lingered with some of the toddlers, hesitant at first but then growing accustomed to their innocent and adorable ways. We then left after visiting a couple more classrooms in the 'Kindergarten'. Steven drove us by Fish Stew to grab some pizza for a late lunch after that. While we were there, I said hello to Kiki and Jenny and wished them the best of fortunes in all that they do, seeing as they hoped to one day follow in Connie's footsteps of going to college. Steven then took me and the Diamonds back to the Temple, us arriving at about 4:30 PM. Sundown would start in about two hours so, with the rest of the team gathered, minus that Peridot and the ocean gem Lapis, we just talked and talked until it got dark outside.

It was getting about the time when Steven would go for some dinner, but he first made clear that he'd like to shower off first. He had helped some toddlers with their lunches back at the 'Kindergarten' and some of the contents had made their way onto his shirt. Once Steven fetched a new set of clothes and closed the door, I approached the outside of the bathroom carefully. Over the course of the day, seeing Steven with all those kids just made me feel so many new things towards him, like how great of a father he would be. Now, I feel like is the time to act on these feelings that have been surging up inside me, but I can't get caught by the other gems. I wait until I hear the shower-head turn on and the water spraying before I do a 360 around the kitchen area. Luckily, the team is deeply invested in their conversations, so it gives me the chance to open the bathroom door and slip inside. It's very hot and steamy inside, making it kinda hard to see. My actions, though, were apparently not stealthy enough because Steven quickly pokes his head out from behind the shower curtain.

"Pearl! What are you doing in here?" He asks, sounding more surprised than angry.

I blush heavily, the new feelings like a fire in my form, and shuffle my feet in a nervous stance.

"I-I'm not trying to invade your privacy, Steven" I say, stuttering obnoxiously, "I just had to tell you something away from the others".

A smirk grows on his face, creeping me out slightly, but also making me think that he already knows what I want to confess.

"And, what might that be?" Steven questions, a playful tone in his voice.

I struggle to get the next words out.

"Well, since you've grown up, I've...been developing these unforeseen and unexpected emotions towards you. I was unsure of what they were at first, but then recognized that it was the same way I felt about your mother. Feeling them about you, though, just felt wrong in a sense, so I shoved them down. However, during the concert last night and the school touring today, those same feelings reemerged. And know, standing here with you, I finally understand why I can't ignore these emotions any longer! It's because..well..I love you" I explain, ending the last part with tears in my eyes.

"Well, in that case, would you perhaps want to see what lies on the other side of this curtain?" He asks.

What? He's just that ok with moving ahead so fast?! The feeling inside me grows hotter, though matching the steamy temperature in the room. And to answer him, I phase out of my glittery dress, showing off all of my pale skin.

"Wow, no wonder Pearls are the most prettiest of gems" Steven flirts, causing my whole face to break out in one massive blush.

I put my hands up to try and shield my face, but Steven instead grabs them and pulls me through the curtain and into the shower with him.

"I just need to ask, though, Steven" I start rambling, "How is it that you're just ok with seeing me naked after I've helped raise you for the past many years?"

"Well, ever since Ruby and Sapphire told me about their feelings, along with me having sex with both them and Lapis, I've thought about how many of the gems around here have acted and came to the conclusion that you all feel the same way" He explains, "At this point, is there really a need for me to still feel nervous about it?"

I shrug and smile, seeing his point. I then make the boldest move I've ever considered making and feverishly connect my lips with Steven's. I don't hold back, pressing as hard as I can into his lips, using my arms to grab onto his neck. I then jump up and latch onto his front, folding my legs around his torso. The sensation I'm feeling is beyond words...it's just....bliss and perfection all fused into one.

"Ready to get hot and wet, Pearl?" Steven grins, breaking away from the kiss.

I look at him with the feeling in my eyes, ready to do whatever he wants. I'll do anything he asks and I'll do it without question. He's my Diamond and I'm his obedient Pearl.

"Only for you, my Diamond" I smirk, feeling more right to call him that than Ruby or Sapphire while I clinging onto him.

Steven then gives me a narrow-eyed grin and plucks me from his body, holding me against the shower wall. I have a pretty good idea about what will come next, so I wrap my arms around his neck and prepare myself for what might be the best kind of pain I'll ever feel. Steven positions that strong sword of his right below my socket and then slides it right up and in. At first, I'm divided between pain and pleasure, but when Steven thrusts again and again into me, I begin to feel more the pleasure than the pain. His thrusts are so hard that he's constantly sliding me up and down the slick shower wall. To make the situation even better, I close my eyes and let myself get fully enveloped in the bliss.

This goes on for a while before Steven releases his load into me, causing one ragged breath to come out of me. He's not done, though, and to be honest, I didn't want him to be either. Steven now lowers me back down to his level and hugs me tightly, pressing my breasts into his chest. He then begins licking around my collarbone, invoking more panting from me. He just knows which spots will set me off and I totally love it. While he's busy with my neck, I begin my own assault on him, pressing long and passionate kisses on his neck.

This last just a little bit shorter than his penetration of me, but this also comes to an end. The grand finale though for us is when Steven places a firm hand on both the back of my neck and my lower back. He then dips me down into one big kiss, the hot water spraying right down onto us. My legs dangle freely in his grip, but soon want to find a home and reattach themselves back around his torso. Steven and I just...stay like this...entirely happy...and at peace.

Steven's P.O.V

After standing there with Pearl for a peacefully long time, I figure it's best to get out and dry off. If I'm in here too long, the other gems might grow suspicious and think I'm doing something secretive. Still, almost half of them have had their turn with me already, so they should understand the situation by now. I gently take one of my hands off of Pearl's moist back and turn off the water. The shower head goes off almost immediately and the cool feeling of the overhead fan hits me. Pearl must feel the cold just as much, because she clings onto me tightly, absorbing as much of my body heat as she can. She must find a good spot because I can hear her sigh and feel her rest her head sideways on my right shoulder. Smiling at how cute my Pearl's being, I hastily open the shower curtain and step outside.

I move quickly to grab the towel from the hook on the wall, choosing to wrap Pearl in it instead of me. To do this, I carefully set her down, much to her confusion, and fold the white stretch of fabric so that it just covers her lower midsection and her chest. Pearl frowns and puts both of her hands on my chest to stop me.

"Why are you putting your towel around me?" Pearl asks curiously.

"Oh, well, you see, my Pearl has been taking care of me for most of my life up to this point, so I thought that it'd be best for her Diamond to take care of her for a change" I reply, my voice soft, but teasing.

Pearl blushed furiously at this, her whole face nearly turning a deep shade of tan.

"You're so kind to me, Steven. What did I ever do to deserve you?" She asks in return, stepping forward to wrap her arms behind my neck.

"By being yourself. The greatest thing of all" I answer, closing the gap once more to seal our lips together.

The contact is brief, for I don't want to stall the other gems for much longer, but the moment of kissing that we do share is filled with passion. Once me and Pearl separate, I let her sit down while I get to work clothing myself. On goes some white socks, a new pair of underwear, some star-pattern pajama pants, and a white undershirt. Looking in the mirror afterwards, I see that my hair is still down from yesterday. I decide that I want to keep it like that for just a little longer, so I take my comb and fashion my hair so that it goes to one side in a sweeping motion.

I feel like I'm all good so, I take Pearl by the arm and lead her out of the bathroom. Before we step out into the living room/kitchen area, though, I ask her if she's planning on putting on her clothes cause I would get a feeling that she'd probably feel embarrassed walking around in her current attire. However, Pearl says no and that what she has on is fine. I don't want to argue with her, probably cause I'm interested in seeing what Amethyst, Garnet, Peridot, Lapis, Jasper, and the Diamonds will think, so I just shrug and continue to lead her towards the others. We're able to get as far as the fridge before all conversation halts and every set of eyes turn in our direction.

"WHAT IN THE UNHOLY DIAMOND AUTHORITY IS GOING ON HERE?!" Lapis yells.
