I went into the cafeteria that was so cold that I wished I brought my coat. Slowly I pulled out my lunch and sat by myself at a table. "Hey that was really cool what you did back there" said Luke as he sat next to me. "Steven whats wrong everyone is talking about how awesome you were back there" he said in a worried tone. I want to tell you the truth but after today's indecent I cant it will spread. "Steven don't worry I wont tell anyone" he said with more curiosity in his voice. But then Connie came and sat next to me. "Hey Steven and?" she said. "My name is Luke" the boy responded.

"Please tell me how that happened I really want to know" said Luke. "What happened?" asked Connie. "You didn't hear a shield protected Steven when Levi, one of the jocks threw a pencil at him" he said. At that moment Connie slapped her forehead. "Steven why would you let that happen?" she asked. Sorry I was being attacked it just came on instinct. "Can you guys please explain what happened?" he asked impatiently

Ok I will tell you but we need to go somewhere we wont be heard I can't risk  anyone else hearing. "Ok fine lets go in the hall" he said with even more curios than before. The hall was dead and we all sat on a bench. Ok you can't repeat this to anyone or else I could get unwanted attention. "Got it" he said with a serious face. Ok the reason a shield showed up in front of me is because I am half gem and half human or a hybrid. I lifted my shirt to show the magenta rose quartz gem on my belly button. All gems have a gem weapon and I have a shield. I summoned my shield for proof. 

So the reason I am a hybrid is because my mom Rose Quartz fell in love with a human and she had to give up her physical for to make me.
