Steven's POV.

    We waited patiently in the temple. It was silent when they banged on the door with many different things. They got so frustrated when even bombs wouldn't open the door. We could only see it happening but we were relived that we were safe. I was a bit horrified watching the childhood home I grew to love get exploded to pieces. We just had to wait them out until they gave up. The people of beach city were rioting against the government workers begging them to stop their actions, but they didn't give in.

"Hey guys I have an idea. If I can fall asleep I can try to convince them we are somewhere else," I offered.

"That sounds like a good idea. It's not like we can do much more," Garnet replied. I layed down in the clouds hopping to be able to reach the Leader over his madness. Quickly I fell asleep and left the temple as an apparition to try and contact the Leader. I tried to enter and the first time I was pushed away with his screeching at his men. The second time was successful and I was able to get his attention.

"Hey," I said to see him shake but he pushed it off.

"HEY!" I shouted. He seemed to notice it this time and his blood boiled.

"What!" he shouted in return. I didn't respond to make him look foolish. His men looked at him and started to laugh.

"Shut up! I can fire all of you!" he shouted. The men quickly looked away and went off to work like nothing had happened. 

"What you don't feel bad for killing me," I retorted. This just made him even more angry.

"Ghosts aren't real," he whispered in a harsh tone.

"Oh yeah? Then how are you talking to me? That bullet killed me you know," I replied trying to mess with his head.

"You guys said it your self, you are immortal," he replied in a quieter tone.

"What you didn't realize is that I was part human. You have my blood on your hands," I replied.

"Yeah well how would have I known?" he replied. His men were looking at him as if he was crazy and he scowled at them to get back to work.

"Oh, I don't know, how about the amount of blood you made me lose?" I responded. His expression was a bit paler. 

"Well you were putting us in danger," he said trying to defend himself.

"Oh really, I thought you were the ones putting us in danger. We have done nothing but protect Earth and you wanted to take our power into your filthy hands for the government. You shot and killed me to get what you wanted. So, you were the one who caused all the pain to an innocent family," I replied.

"I'm sorry for your sob story, but I have work to do," he said with a sadder tone in his voice.

"Ok murderer, you know I'm going to pester you for the rest of your life over my family if you don't stop right?" I asked.

"What do you want?" he growled. He had shown some sorrow for his actions.

"I want you to stop following my family. I want you to report to the military that it was a false alarm," I replied.

"Fine, but you have to promise to leave alright," he replied.

"Thank you, I will leave when you stop this operation," I said. He pulled out his phone acting like he was on a phone call.
