Steven then explained to Bull how it turned out that Rose Quartz was actually Pink Diamond, and that she faked her own shattering with Pearl's help in order to end The Great Gem War. This surprised Bull, as he didn't expect a twist like that! It was soon the day of Ruby and Sapphire's wedding, and Bull got up to get ready and dressed. He was all cleaned up and dressed in his wedding tuxedo. Bull then decided to help out with decorating and such. Bull's tall stature made it easier to reach for flowers. Once everything was set up and the guests were there, it was time to start the wedding. Steven was at the center in a tuxedo, and Sapphire was wearing a groom's tuxedo. "I'll go get the bride," said Bull as he went inside, smiling at everyone. He went to where Ruby was dressing up. He casually knocked on the wall and asked, "hey Ruby, you ready?" Ruby got out of the room she was dressing in, and she was wearing a beautiful white bride's dress, with a white headband that had blue flowers on it. "How do I look?" Ruby nervously asked.

"You look beautiful," complimented Bull, "shall we?" He offered his hand. "Yes, we shall." replied Ruby as she kindly took Bull's hand, walking outside. Greg started playing the guitar, and Ruby smiled the moment she saw her love dressed in her tuxedo. Bull slowly walked her down the aisle, and he could tell that Ruby was excited. And by the time Greg was finished, Ruby and Bull were standing right next to Steven and Sapphire. Bull then took a seat somewhere at the front. Steven cleared his throat and began, "dearly beloved... Gems, humans, lions big and small... Living gourds, Onion-- we are gathered here today to celebrate Ruby and Sapphire, two of my favorite people who combine into one of my other favorite people! You all probably know her as Garnet. She is their love, given form. But now it's your turn to talk about that." Ruby smiled, blushed, and said, "I know this is all kind of silly. I mean, we've been together for 5,750 years!"

"And eight months," pointed Sapphire.  "I used to feel like I wasn't much good," continued Ruby, "just one of me on my own. But when we're together, it feels like it's okay to just be me. So I want to be me with you! And --and not even the Diamonds will come between us! And if they try, we'll beat 'em up!" Sapphire giggled, and then said, "Ruby, my future used to look like one single, obvious stream, unbending till the end of time. In an instant, you pulled me from that destiny and opened my eye to an explosion of infinite possible futures, streaking across space and time, altered and obliterated by the smallest force of will. What I mean is, you changed my life. And then, I changed your life. And now, we change our lives." Steven then said, "Bismuth, the rings!" Amethyst elbowed her and said, "Hey Bismuth, that's your cue!" Bismuth was so happy she was crying, and she gave the wedding rings to Ruby and Sapphire. The two lovers put the rings on their respective fingers, and then held hands. "Ruby," said Steven, "do you take this gem to have and to hold, on this and every other planet in the universe?"

"I do!" Ruby excitedly. Steven then said, "and Sapphire, do you--" Sapphire interrupted, "yes." Steven whispered, "you didn't let me finish!" Sapphire smiled and said, "I'm just very excited." Steven then said, "then by the power invested in me by the State of Delmarva, I now pronounce you Garnet!" Ruby and Sapphire then kissed, embracing each other. And then the both of them fused, becoming Garnet! Everyone, including Bull, cheered and applauded.
