Deep inside the corridors of the abandoned Kindergarten in the very core of Homeworld, robonoids flock about in the area, firing red lazer beams from their mouths to scan every nook and cranny for the wanted criminals, the new faces that dared to evacuate from their trial.

A trio of lucky robonoids has detected their location and are currently taking their assault above and beyond to wipe out their targets. Lars, slender but energetic and determined to fight back, counters a lightning strike by kicking the robonoid, forcing its aim towards the other side of the area.

The beam strikes into it, causing the wall exacerbate a crack, forming a massive glowing fissure that takes up the entire space. The wall implodes and Lars grabs Padparadscha just in time, leaping towards safety. He stays on his hands and knees as soon as he lands, panting with widening eyes.

"I think that's the coolest thing I've ever done in my life!" Steven rushes up to them as he summons his sheild to the back of his right hand. "It's not over yet!" The robonoids close in around the trio as Steven stands at the ready. Three lazer beams creep down their forms as two gemstones light up.

Lars, being a human, can't be detected. Hence, he's invincible. Steven whimpers as he and Padparadscha stare down at their gemstones--Steven's on his belly button--Padparasha's being on the back of her right hand.

Lars grimaces as he looks down at a thick stone club. He reaches down for it and he raises it over his shoulder, taking in the weight of the weapon with a couple breaths. He charges towards the robonoids and he swings at them.

He strikes one across--another one up--he attempts to strike down the last one only to let it slip out of harm's way just in time. Lars takes a moment to regain his composure as the robonoid heads towards Rhodonite. Lars rushes towards the fusion only to get caught by another robonoid.

His chest rebounds against it as he grunts. A lazer scans Rhodonite as she whimpers with four bulging black on top, pink on bottom eyes. The Ruby and Pearl gems light up as lightning charges up. Lars slams his club down into the fourth robonoid as lightning strikes Rhodonite right in the center.

Because she's a fusion, the robonoid couldn't decide which gem to strike, so neither. She implodes into a plume of smoke in a hole causing everyone to turn around and gaze upon her two remaining counterparts. A Ruby with a naval gem lays on top of a Pearl in a hue of pink with a gem embedded on her chest.

Steven rushes up to them as more robonoids flood the area. Flourite, the six gem fusion titan, slams her weight down onto two robonoids, crushing them. The Rutile twins nod to each other before rushing out of their hiding place to help fight back.

They pant as the Gem connecting their heads glow. The glow brightens as they cast the light onto a robonoid, blinding it and throwing off its sensor. It strikes a bolt of lightning into another robonoid, causing it to explode.

Padparadscha gives out her next prediction as Steven guides her to a rock about their size for cover. "We need to fight back! There's more coming!" Two robonoids head towards them as Steven steps a few feet in front of the rock.

He thrusts his sheild out in front of him and he hurls it into the robonoid to his left with a grunt. The shield bounces into the other robonoid to the right, causing both them to explode simultaneously. Steven catches the shield as it latches back onto his right hand.

"Alright. That's two down." Steven looks over to Lars who is attempting to swing his club at a robonoid that is ready to fire at the Rutile twins. The robonoid taunts his aggressor as it moves back and forth in between swings. Lars yells with each swing as the robonoid charges its beam.

Steven presses his back into the rock, gritting his teeth as Padparadscha grimaces. "Lars is in trouble!" Steven takes a deep breath before he turns out of his hiding spot and charges towards the robonoid. He hurls his shield as the robonoid fires its beam.

Lars screams as he grasps his right arm. He drops the club as the shield hits the robonoid. It flies into the wall and explodes on impact. The assault ends as Steven makes his way towards Lars, his heart pounding as his forehead sweats. "LARS!"

Once he reaches him, he stops as he stares at the clasped hand. His shield dissapates as he places his hand on the other. "Lars." Lars groans as Steven carefully removes the hand from his arm. He gasps as he covers his mouth with the other. "Lars! Oh my gosh!"

Steven's eyes well up as he looks upon a bleeding puddle seeping down Lars' arm. There is glowing blue liquid oozing through the blood as it trickles down his arm causing a major infection. If Steven messes with it, it could seriously injure Lars further, possibly towards the brink of death.

But if it doesn't get taken care of, it could also result in the exact same path of fate. Steven sniffles as Lars sits down on the ground, staring down at his infected arm. "I never wanted you or anyone to get hurt! Now you're infected--you're probably gonna die and it's all my fault!"

Tears roll down Steven's cheeks as he reaches out for the arm with trembling hands. He clenches his teeth as he sobs with squinting shut eyes. "Steven, I'll be okay. Let's just keep-!" Lars coughs out as he collapses on his back. He screams as his body convulses.

Tears slip into the scar on Lars' arm as the Off Color Gems stare at them. Lars' gradually feels himself slip away as he wheezes out. The tears finally compile into one huge glob that plops down into the cut which glows pink on impact.

Lars closes his eyes as Steven's jaw drops, gazing at the glowing cut. Lars tilts his head to the left as his body goes limp. The cut starts to close as the glow illuminates Steven's tearstained face. The liquid dissolves into the glow as the cut stitches itself back together, leaving only the leftover blood on top of of Lars' arm.

He groans as he sits up. He opens his eyes as he looks down at a pink circle embedded on his arm. He widens his eyes as his body shoots awake. He grimaces as Steven's jaw drops with a tear sliding down his left cheek. "Wh-Wh-What?! Steven, what did you do?! What is this?!"

Impossible it may seem, Steven has given Lars a special gift no one would have thought possible through the shocking reveal of his healing tears. Padparadscha gives her reaction as the Off Colors stare at the latest version of their kin. "Oh my! The human Lars is going to become a Gem!"
