Chapter 18 - It's The End...
Isla was staring at the table instead of Sans. His threat only made her impatience bubble up more. "There's more to it that you aren't telling me." Isla said. Sans stiffened at her words. "What do you know...?" He asked. Isla stared at him for a second, her familiar gaze calmly grazing over his face, although she was getting very impatient. Isla sighed heavily before looking towards the stage, which was empty, she stood up from her chair, and walked onto the stage.
The microphone stand was a little tall, so she adjusted it to her height. "Uh... Hello?" She spoke into the microphone. Eyes turned to look at her. "Hey. My name is Isla and I am here to prove a point... Uh. let me just get something." She paused to take her guitar out and put the strap around her shoulders. Sans watched, recognition shining for a second in his eye sockets. "So, I'm going to play a song that is actually very popular... This is my first live performance so uh... Yeah, haha... Me and my friend, who wrote the song get a lot of attention from it, so I hope you all like it...?"
It was then that she started to play the first ever song she helped write. Sans's eyes widened as he finally seemed to connect the dots. He stood up as she started playing. She stared at Sans as she played, her eyes warm and full of emotion an nostalgia.
She ended the song, and claps rang out through the room. Sans could only walk towards her as he covered his mouth, trying to muffle his sobs. Isla put her guitar down as she climbed off the stage to give him a huge hug, burying her face in his ribcage.
Sans clutched her body tightly. He then teleported them (And her guitar) somewhere private.
Aka his room.
Sans let his tears run down his cheekbones. "I'm such an idiot, I'm so sorry..." Sans sniffled. "It's ok dad, just let it out..." Isla said with a smile, rubbing his back. Tears were also running down her face. It was finally a real reunion between her and her adoptive father. Who wouldn't be crying if your supposedly-dead father/daughter was alive and well?
After a few minutes of crying, he pulled out of the hug. "How- I thought you were dead..." "I know. Frisk left without Toriel knowing... It's confusing, to be honest. I thought you were dead too, because I thought that'd they would... kill both of you..." There was a pause before he gasped. "Tori's alive too, right?" He asked urgently, shaking Isla by the shoulders gently. She laughed a little and nodded. "Oh thank god..." He mumbled, rubbing his temple in relief, as if to relieve a migraine. Then he chuckled. "I'm such an idiot, oh Asgore..." He sighed again.
Isla only giggled and hugged him again, happy that she could be his daughter once more.
"Now you can come back, and live with us. We can all be a family again..."Sans mumbled. Isla paused before sighing. "Dad... I have people depending on me to get them out of here." She murmured. Sans paused. "I... Have to continue my journey. I'll battle with Asgore." "Isla, you'll die!" Sans exclaimed, once again grabbing her shoulders. "And you'll be free. I'm doing this for a reason!" Isla had a soft smile on her face while Sans was starting to tear up. "No, not when I just got you back, you aren't leaving me here, Isla!"
Isla's smile faded into a frown, her lip sticking out a little and tears spilled from her eyes. "Dad..." She mumbled. Sans sighed and hugged her once more. His own tears started to flow down his face. "Please, don't go. It doesn't matter anyways."

Isla walked out of the judgement hall, her skeleton father watching solemnly. She continued until she found a hallway. She hesitated before going straight instead of left, and eventually found herself in a room full of coffins. She was horrified when she saw it, the faint smell of rotting flesh filling her nostrils. Did they not know to cremate them?
She then remembered that monsters simply turned to dust and therefore couldn't really cremate just because they didn't know that it was necessary. Her lip trembled in fear, knowing that she would be in one of the coffins. It was then that she took a few deep, shaky breaths and went back up the stairs to find Asgore.
She entered the other room, only to see the huge figure with his back turned to her. She quietly walked up to him and then poked his back, gaining his attention. He turned, a surprised expression on his face. "Oh, hello, I must have been distra--" He paused, Taking in her appearance.
She stepped back a little, fear shining in her eyes. "... Oh."

She dodged his trident once more, her determination showing in her expression. She kept trying to talk to him. "Asgore... You were Santa, right? For me and Paps." His expression softened for a moment, and he nodded, before attacking with fire. Isla kept dodging. "I just wanted to thank you, Asgore. You're a good king." She dodged another round of attacks. "I don't want to fight, Asgore. Please, stop..." He kept attacking. Isla started sniffling. She fell to her knees, sobbing into her hands.
"No, No! I don't want to... I don't wanna die!!" She admitted to herself. She kept sobbing, taking all the attacks Asgore threw at her during her small break down. "Daddy... Papy... Tori...... Napsta.... I'll set you all free... Even if... I have to die... Against my w-will..." She hugged her knees, crying into them as Asgore threw the last move at her. Blood splattered the ground, and her glowing purple soul left her body, only to be caught by Asgore in a canister.
Then vines violently crushed Asgore to a pulp, and evil laughter rang throughout the underground.
