Jewel sat on the bus, her ears flattened and her calico tail flicking nervously. It was her first day at the University for Educated Minds. She was smart, funny and had lots of friends. She was studying in Human Sciences and wanted to be a scientist when she got older. Jewel looked around her and saw some Nekos (cat-human hybrid),a couple of Kitsunes (fox-human hybrid) and even an Usagimimi (rabbit-human hybrid). She turned back to the front of the bus and looked out the window, wondering about what it must be like being a human...

Marks POV
I sat in my seat next to my best friend André, on the 3530 on the way to school. I look at the trees rushing past, completely forgetting that our actual bus isn't moving. I'm a human, always have been and always will be. I'm dwarfed by the towering hybrids and basically everything else in my life except my fellow humans. I have no family because they were all killed... by Nekos. Those beasts were heartless and cold, and I didn't want to meet one in real life. I started talking to André, but then I heard yowling noises coming from underneath me. 'Must be a cat fight' I sniggered to André and he laughed out loud. But I didn't know what was really happening.

Jewels POV
The scary Inumimi (dog-human hybrid) stood on one of the seats and growled, showing everyone in the bus his razor sharp fangs, dripping with saliva. 'Alright!' he snarled angrily to the bus driver 'I want you to turn this bus around and head to the forest'
'No way, now get off my bus!' said the bus driver, a burly Ushimimi (cow-human hybrid). 'Okay then, we'll have to do this the hard way' said the stranger as he knocked the bus driver out. My tail exploded, and so did all the other Nekos'. I was quivering and I was just about to let out a yowl, when the bus- still speeding-swerved off the road...
