Thats what I'm feeling now.

Oh wait! I'm not even able to feel anything.

After all the steps we took.......after all those efforts.......after all those promises.......I failed!

I, The Manik Fucking Malhotra,failed to save my Love!

Today I'm standing here completely helpless. The phone line is still connected and I can hear shouts from the other sides, asking me where Nandini is. But for the first time ever in my life, I feel like my tongue is tied up.

What would I answer them? That I, The Great Malhotra, got fooled by two people who took away my love in front of my eyes? And what did I do? I just stood there like a fool giving a pity look to her.

Damn!

" Manik!", a voice falls faintly in my ears but I'm not able to respond. "Manik!", the voice becomes louder and someone shakes me which brings me out of my trance. I see Abhi and Cabir there with worried faces.

" Manik. Listen to me carefully. Search everywhere in the hospital. She must be there somewhere. Find her as soon as possible. We can't risk being late.", someone says from the other side of the phone. I don't recognise the voice. Who is it?

But its not time to ponder over this question. Whoever it is, is right. I need to search. I can't let them take her away from me so easily.

" Lets go!", I say in a determined voice and we part our ways to try and find her.

Where are you Shona?

I rush towards the morgue. They said they were bringing the stretcher here. I barge into the dim room that smelt pathetic. I cover my nose immediately. I look everywhere. But find nothing.

Ughhhh! Stupid! Why would they actually bring her here after saying that in front of us?

I run from there to every possible place in the hospital. My phone's continuosly ringing. But I ignore it and search everywhere.

We search for her in every nook and corner of the hospital. But finally not getting any clue of her, we meet at the parking.

" Did you guys find her?" It was Yug Bhai as soon as Abhi picked the call. But our silence proved to him about our failure.

We stood there exhausted and lost for some time when something struck in my mind. " Guys CCTV!", I shouted and they both looked at me. They nodded immediately and we moved to the security room of the hospital.

" Shit! She's not here!"

That's the only thing ringing in everyone's ears.

Is this really happening? Are all their efforts, all Nandini's hardwork, is everything going down now?

How can this even happen? No!

Suddenly Vishal and Navya get there senses back and are asking continuously on the phone where Nandini is. But no reply.

Finally composing himself Arnav comes forward and takes the phone from Yug and orders sternly, " Manik. Listen to me carefully. Search everywhere in the hospital. She must be there somewhere. Find her as soon as possible. We can't risk being late."

" Lets go!" Those were Manik's words they heard before the line went cut.

Arnav immediately fished out his phone and barked orders at his men to find Nandini immediately, wherever she was. He cut the call and suddenly his eyes fell on someone and his gaze hardened. The others were confused seeing him suddenly so angry. They followed their gaze only to see Niharika standing there with slight tears in her eyes. She was aware of Arnav's hard gaze which was making her uncomfortable.

Arnav marched up to her with long aggressive steps and stood in front of her with eyes spitting fire. Niharika flinched seeing him. She was confused. She couldn't understand the sudden change in his behaviour.

" You knew everything right? Every fucking thing. You knew it was not Vivek Murthy!", Arnav growled. His voice was so loud that everyone present there flinched at it. Niharika was shocked. She never expected this accusation. But the last part confused all. It was not Vivek Murthy?

" DaBhai? What are you saying?", Navya asked and others nodded being completely clueless of what he means.

" Arnav calm down. Please. ", Khushi tried to calm his temper, rubbing his arms. She very well knew Arnav's anger. Its true that Arnav has inherited his Granpa's temper.

" Of all people, you are asking me to calm down Khushi? You very well know what I am talking about. Hai na? This lady here.....its so obvious that she knew everything. How can she not know anything? Tell me. ", Arnav shouted and Khushi nodded looking down.

" Listen to me carefully Mrs.Niharika Murthy. If anything happens to my Nanhi, and I get proofs that you are behind everything, then I swear on DurgaMaa. The world won't be able to find out where you vanished. Trust my words. ", Arnav said in such a dangerous voice that Niharika's insides curled.  The Malhotra couple and Fab3 were shocked to see his anger. But others already knew how dangerous Arnav can be when it comes to safeguard his family. It was always said that out of the three grandchildren of Parosh Chatterjee, Arnav inherited his dangerous side, Navya inherited his calm side, while Nandini, the youngest, was a mix of both.

But wait! Why does the voice seem familiar?

She opened her eyes to see the person standing in front of her and her eyes threatened to come out of it's sockets in shock.

" Naren Dixit!", she wishpered in a shocked tone. She was perplexed.

" Aaanhan! Right observation, but the wrong answer Babygirl.", he said in a mocking tone that made Nandini scrunch her face. Why was she getting so bad vibes from this man?

" Its not Naren Dixit Baby. Its The Great Naveen Aggarwal. The one and only son of Karthik Aggarwal."

And this was a bomb on Nandini.

" What are you saying Arnav? What would she know?", Avantika asked being still confused about Arnav's outburst on Niharika.

" And you said its not Vivek Murthy. If not him, then who is it?", Rajasked and all nodded.

" Its Niharika Murthy's brother. ", Khushi said suddenly, making everyone still at their places. All heads turned to Niharika, who was herself shocked.

" Ho...how can this be? N..no.", she stammered and Arnav sighed in frustration.

" Now don't tell me you didn't even know it was your brother. Enough of your drama. ", he said in a full annoyed tone while Niharika shooking her head feverishly.

" You have a brother?", Anjali asked and Niharika nodded her head.

" I..I had a brother. He..he toh died long back. Trust me. I...I am saying the truth. He isn't alive. Naveen Bhai isn't alive. ", she said, desperately trying to prove her point. Arnav and Khushi looked annoyed while others stood there clueless. They din't know whom to believe.

" Oh ya! He died. Very good. Then how did he return back from the grave to become the Underworld King?", Arnav shouted and all were beyond shocked. Underworld King?

" Because he never died. He was in jail for trying to murder his sister.", and this was another bomb dropped by The One and Only Parosh Chatterjee.

" Show us the recordings of all CCTV cameras. Of the last 1 hour. Fast. ", Cabir ordered the security head of the hospital who led them to the security room.

The big computer screen showed various recordings. At different places and in different angles. They were desperately trying to locate Nandini or those two people who took her away.
" Look there!", Abhi pointed to a particular recording which showed an image of Nitin and Neha pushing the stretcher which actually had Nandini on it.

" Which place is it?", Manik asked the security head who informed that it was the way towards the backgate of the hospital.

Suddenly Cabir shouted, pointing at another recording. It showed the stretcher being shoved into an ambulance which then zoomed off towards the road.

Manik felt his breath going away, seeing the ambulance moving away from the hospital. It had his life in it. Where did they take her?

" Manik we need to find that ambulance. ", Abhi said bringing Manik out of his thoughts. He immediately composed himself and called Commissioner, not before asking Cabir to note the ambulance number.

" Hello Manik. Tell me. ", the voice of Commisioner came from the other side.

" Uncle. Nandini is kidnapped. ", Manik said and before The Commissioner could react, he told him that they have got the Ambulance number and they need to track it now.

" Come to the police headquarters with the picture of the ambulance. We need to check all the CCTVs on all roads. Make it fast. ", The Commissioner instructed him and he nodded while cutting the call.

This was all Niharika could feel. Her own brother tried to kill her? What was her fault? First her husband's betrayal, now her brother's truth. All this just crushed her inner self.

Parosh's one statement just shook her whole existence.

" Dadu? ", Arnav wanted to ask him what he was saying and how did he know, but ended up falling short of words.

Parosh shifted uncomfortably at his place. But before he could say anything else, Yug's phone rang.

" We have found the ambulance in which they kidnapped her. We are now heading to the Police headquarters to track it.", this was all they heard before the line went cut. They all exchanged glances and Yug, Vishal, Arnav and Maddy immediately rushed out  after asking them to be safe.

" Naveen Aggarwal? How...how is it even possible? Niharika Aunty never had a brother. Sh...she was the only child of Kartik Aggarwal. ", Nandini voiced out. She was in a state of utter shock and confusion. She couldn't believe what was happening around her.

Naren/ Naveen laughed out loud. It was a sinister laugh. It made Nandini flinch.

" You seriously need to know a lot Babygirl. Seriously. ", he said still laughing and Nandini furrowed her eyebrows. She was seriously not able to understand anything.

Naveen was still laughing which irritated the hell out of Nandini. " Will you just shut that fucking laugh of yours? I am tied here and its a practically empty room. Where do you think you are finding a joke from?", she said sarcastically stopping Naveen's laugh at once.

" I like it. You are fiesty much. Good. Just like her.", Naveen said and Nandini scrunch her face. If this old man doesn't tell her the truth then she swears to her Aiyappa, she will break that not so good face of his.

" Hello Mr. Old Man. Let me tell you, I was never interested in those overdramatic Hindi movies. So will you please stop this dramatic exaggeration of yours and tell me what the actual fuck is happening here?", said Nandini and Naveen looked quite impressed with her.

" To answer your question Babygirl, you are currently kidnapped and in my custody.", Naveen said with a sinister smile and Nandini let out a fake gasp.

" Hawwww! I am kidnapped! Oh My God!......If you expect such a reaction from me then back off. Mr.Old Man, first stop calling me with that stupid name. And secondly, I do have eyes to know that I am kidnapped and now in your custody. So just stop all this nonsense and come to the point. Who are you in real and why have you kidnapped me? ", Nandini started sarcastically but asked the last part in a serious tone. Naveen gave an impressed smile to her and made himself comfortable in the only chair in the room.

" So you want to know why have I kidnapped you?", he asked and Nandini nodded." Then listen, you were going to destroy all my hardwork. It took me so long to establish this empire of mine. Do you think I will let you destroy it all?", he said literally spitting fire and Nandini was confused.

" Empire?", Nandini asked perplexed. " But you...you are a lawyer."

Naveen laughed out loud again. " I am a lawyer for the outside world Babygirl. But in real I am The King of my Underworld Empire! The Devil!"

And now it was clear for Nandini about whom Nitin and Neha were talking about. But this revelation just shook her.

" Here it is. See!", Abhi pointed to the CCTV footage of one of the roads. The ambulance in which Nandini was present was passing that road.

" Okay so note it. Its X road. ", Commissioner asked the inspector to note it while they searched for the ambulance in the next probable roads. ( Guys I don't know names of roads in Mumbai. So imagine like this.)

Vishal, Yug, Maddy and Arnav reached the police headquarters a few minutes ago where ManBirBhi were already present with the Commissioners and some officials. They were searching all the cameras placed in every road that goes from the hospital. They were trying to trace the path that the ambulance took to find out where it went.

" There again. See. The ambulance just took Y road. This means they are heading towards Madh island may be.", Arnav said noticing the recording.

" Hmm. Then lets check the footage of all roads connecting from Y road to Madh island.", Commissioner said and they checked all the footages.

But they were left clueless when they didn't find any ambulance in any road after Y road. It seemed as if they just vanished in thin air.

" May be they took some gali.", Dhruv said.

" Or. Maybe they changed the vehicle somewhere and we are not able to locate it now.", Manik said and everyone nodded. Fear was increasing with every passing second. How would Nandini be now? Where would she be? What will those people do with her?

Arnav had informed the commissioner about whatever Max had told him and that made them more worried. This isn't some simple kidnapping. She has been taken away by the underworld itself. God knows how they will save her now.

" How will we find her now?", Yug's question made everyone restless.

" Where are you Shona?", Manik wishpered helplessly.

" What do you know? I want to know everything. Tell me.",a teary Niharika said standing infront of Parosh Chatterjee who was looking restless. The restlessness was not just for his granddaughter. But also for a very old truth that he had hidden till date. He had never opened about this particular incident to anyone other than his wife. He had never even in his dreams thought that his daughter and granddaughter would have to pay for what he did so many years back.

Sujata came to him and put an assuring hand on his shoulder making him look at her. " She has the right to know.", she wishpered and Parosh nodded before looking back at Niharika.

" But you only said that you are Karthik Aggarwal's son. Then why did I never get to know about you when I did a research on Niharika Murthy's maiden life?", Nandini questioned trying to stay confident. The fact that she was in the prison of the underworld did scare her. But knowing the whole truth is more important now.

" That was because my father erased every mention of my name in his life. Other than some people, no one knows about me. And you know who comes in some people?", Nandini raised her eyebrows in confusion. " Your Grandfather. The Great Parosh Chatterjee.", he took the name with distaste and Nandini was shocked. Her Nanu knew so much? And he never said anything?

" Tell me the whole truth. I want to know why all this happened with Niharika Aunty and Mamma.", Nandini asked finally in a low voice and Naveen smile devilishly. Time to talk about himself now.

" It happened when I lived in Kolkata. I and your father Karthik were family friends. We used to be good aquaintances. We took over our family businesses and then got married.

Karthik and your mother Neeta were unable to concieve for 5 years after marriage. Your Grandma became very restless. Being a very conservative woman, she taunted Neeta everytime for not being able to give her a heir. Neeta was getting depressed day by day. So one day Karthik decided to take Neeta away from there for some days. They came to Mumbai where they had one of their branches. I was in Mumbai at that time with Sujata and our two year old son Pradeep. Sujata got pregnant with Avu and Neeta got more depressed seeing this.

One day when we had visited the temple, we found a baby crying there on the temple stairs. Neeta was very much attracted to the baby. She went to him and cooed him to sleep. After many days we could see the same shine in her eyes which she used to have earlier. We inquired about the baby and found out that someone had left that 3 days old baby on the temple stairs. We felt pity for it, but Neeta was very happy. She took him home and started loving him like her own son. Karthik was happy seeing his wife getting back to her normal state again. So he decided to adopt him. After Sujata gave birth to Avu, we went back to Kolkata and told everyone that in this whole year that we were in Mumbai, Neeta had got pregnant and that they wanted to keep it a surprise. Your Grandmaa accepted the baby boy happily and named him Naveen as with his entry, started a new phase of their life. He became the heir of Aggarwals.

After 6 years, Neeta got pregnant and gave birth to you. You were like a dew drop in there life which made it look more beautiful. So they named you Niharika. We shifted to Mumbai to expand our bussinesses more. We were very happy.

Everything was going well for some years. But suddenly Naveen's behaviour started changing. He used to talk rudely to everyone. Especially you. You don't remember all this now because you were just 8 years old then.

His behaviour with you started degrading day by day. And finally one day, when you were 9 years old,he tried to kill you. You were in Coma for many days. We were at the verge of loosing you. No one knew that it was Naveen who attacked you that day except me. I had found proofs against him and I showed them to Karthik. He was dumbfounded. He never could believe that his son could do all this.

Then police caught him with the help of my proofs. He confessed that he was jealous of you, because you got all the love that he once got. He just couldn't bear the fact that you were unknowingly snatching many things from him. He was a minor. So he was sent to rehab for 3 years in attempt to murder. But before going, Karthik declared that he disowned him. Although he said this in his anger, Naveen fumed at this. He swore of revenge on me before being taken away by police.

Neeta couldn't bear all this. She was already weak after your birth. Doctor had asked everyone not to give anymore shocks. But what happened then took a toll over her and she died of heart attack.

Karthik was completely shattered. He lost his son, he lost his wife and then he was at the verge of losing his daughter as well. But you made it out of Coma after a few months. That day Karthik decided to isolate. He took you and just walked off. No one knew where. After many years, one day I came to know that he had established Aggarwal industries in London. But he had cut off himself from everyone from his past. He had his mansion in Mumbai where he came sometimes when he missed Neeta but he never met anyone else. I couldn't make it to meet him once. I had no courage to stand infront of that broken man.

We never knew what happened to Naveen. After three years when he got released from rehab, he just vanished somewhere. We never found him, nor did he come back to us.

I always knew who you are. I had loved you like my own daughter in your childhood. Thats why I never blamed you for anything. The day when I came to know from Sunaina about you being Vivek's wife, I tried hard to save you from him. But I failed. Then I saw that Vivek never left you or your daughter. I thought you were happy with him. So I just let you be and kept a watch on you from distance. "

Parosh completed with slight tears glistening in his eyes. He could not be with his friend when he died. He couldn't support his daughter too, because he had to support his own daughter. Both the ladies' life was ruined because of what he did only. It was nothing but revenge.

Niharika was badly in tears now. So much was hidden from her. She had fallen from the terrace of their mansion and was admitted in hospital. Thats only what her father told her. After she woke up, she didn't remember many things, may be because she was too small for such a big blow. Her father said that her mother and Bhai died in an accident. She had cried a lot that day. But little did she know about this bitter truth of her life.

Avantika came to her and hugged her. Now when Parosh said, thats when she came to remember that little girl in her childhood who used to be the best friend of her sister Sunaina. So many years of separation had made her forget all incidents of her past and then she went on to hating that same girl.

Both the ladies hugged each other, crying in each other's arms. One was crying at her fate while the other was crying at the loss of both her sisters.

A misunderstanding and sibling hatred that grew in childhood, led to the destruction of so many innocent souls.

" I was the son of Karthik Aggarwal and my Maa, Neeta Aggarwal.", Naveen said and Nandini noticed the longing and pain in his eyes when he took his mother's name. " Maa loved me so much. I was the apple of her eyes. Even my father loved me. And my Dadi, she also treated me like a prince. But then one day, Maa got pregnant. I was happy as I was going to get a sibling. I had seen your Mamu and Mausi and wanted a sister for myself too.", Nandini frowned at the mention of her Mamu and Mausi and Naveen saw this, " Oh did I forget to tell you? Your Nanu was a friend of my father. Ya, so where was I.....ya...I was excited for the birth of a new baby. But Maa's condition started deteriorating. She became very weak. I was just 6 at that time,but I still remember how she had to be shifted to the ICU after the delivery. I was scared to loose her.

Maa got well but she was still very weak. She used to become unwell quite often but that girl's tantrums never stopped. It angered me. One day when she was 6, Maa got sick again. She was very serious and got bedridden for few days. But that girl couldn't understand just one fucking thing that she has to let her rest. She started nagging her, disturbing her and that angered me. So I scolded her and pushed her away from Maa's room. But you know what that Devil did? She complained to my father that I beat her and he slapped me in anger. That was the first time he slapped me. That increased my anger on her.

I knew she was just a baby that time. So I forgave her for it after few days. But she started gaining everyone's attention towards herself. My Maa also started ignoring me for her. That hurt me a lot, but I kept quite because she was my sister and I loved her.

But then one day Dadi told me what a omen she was. My Maa was very weak and even a small stroke could kill her. Doctor had said that she won't live for a long period. And all this, only because she decided to choose that baby before her ownself! What about me? Did she for once think what would happen to me if she left me? She thought about that girl who hadn't even come to this world yet. That made me hate that girl. She was the reason of my Maa's miseries.

And one day, she fell from the terrace. It was my fault..yes. But I didn't want to kill her. Hell how could I think of killing my own sister? That day she was nagging me for something when I was sitting there near the edge of the terrace. I didn't know that it was slippery at the edge. I got angry at her stubbornness and shouted on her. When she came to touch me, I jerked her in anger. But she slipped and fell from the terrace. I got scared and ran down the stairs to get her.

But this was seen by your Nanu and he assumed everything wrong. He said I deliberately pushed her. It was all a lie. I wanted to deny but when my own father believed his friend over me, I was very hurt. I accepted all those accusation and was sent to police rehab. Do you know how I felt when my own father declared of disowning me in front of everyone when I was being taken away by the police? That day I swore revenge on your grandfather. I decided that I will ruin him the way he ruined me.

I served three years in the rehab, without any fault of mine. But do you think its a good place? Hell no. I came in contact with dangerous boys. I was innocent at that time. And they beat me like shit. They made fun of me for I was the son of such a big bussinessman. What was my fault? Why did I have to go through all this?

One boy among them was Vikram Khanna. He was there on charges of killing his uncle. He sometimes used to save me from those evils. He was freed a month before me. While going out, he gave me his contacts and told me that he can give me a life when I get out. But I was hell bent on the fact that my father would have forgiven me till now. I had decided that I would tell the whole truth to Maa after I got out.

But you know what happened? I...I got to know..my Maa...my Maa was no more. I searched for my father but didn't find him anywhere. I met Dadi and she said that Maa was so weak after her delivery that she couldn't bear the shock that day and died.

My Maa died! And all this only because of that girl Niharika and that Parosh Chatterjee! I started hating them more. And the worst thing was,my father was no longer willing to see my face. ", Nandini had slight tears in her eyes. This man had suffered so much. He was not at fault but still he had to suffer. Just because of her Nanu's misunderstanding.

"I was boiling in anger. I contacted Vikram Khanna. He was then working for the Underworld. He introduced me to his world. I was done with being good and taking blames always. My life was ruined and I was left with nothing to loose now. My Maa was my life and after her, I had no one. ", Nandini gasped. So this is the reason why he joined underworld. Although his pain was a lot, but still, the way he chose was so wrong.

"I started working for the Underworld. I got an unknown peace on ruining people's life. It gave me pleasure. I grew more and more sinister. I was introduced to the leader after an assignment and he asked me what I wanted. I asked him to let me study. I wanted to be a lawyer. He funded my education and I became a lawyer. I had changed my name to Naren Dixit so that no one recognizes me. But at the back of everything, I was the loyal servant of the Underworld king. Soon I started my own empire with Vikram. ", Nandini made a disgusted face. How can someone get pleasure by ruining lives?

"One day Vikram brought your father to me. He was also somewhat like me. His father always preffered his elder brother to him. His elder brother got everything while he got nothing. I included him in my empire.

But his first assignment was to woo Niharika Aggarwal. Yes. I asked him to woo her so that I can take revenge from her. But you know what? That idiot fell in love with her. But I made all efforts and finally she suffered. She suffered and the pain was inflicted by her own husband. I was happy seeing her in pain. Her own daughter didn't listen to her and loved her father more. Just like my father loved her and not me. Hahaha!

Then my target was Parosh Chatterjee. I knew his weakness. His youngest daughter Sunaina. I asked Vivek to marry her. He protested. He didn't want to cheat on his wife. But I forced him. I showed him the greed for money and he agreed. He married her and whatever happened after that was all planned by me. Your mother and you were ruined. And seeing you, Parosh was shattered. I gave him the same pain that I went through. That my mother went through.

It was all going well. I decided to let you live in peace after that kidnapping incident. But you fucking tried to investigate into it. What do you think? That I don't know how you appointed detectives to find about Vivek's illegal bussiness? I knew every fucking thing. Thats why I manipulated the information so that you never come to know about me.

But then you made Vivek confess that he killed Sunaina. Do you think that fellow could kill someone? Huh! It was me. Me who killed Sunaina. I didn't want to, but that day she got to know about me. Thats why I had to kill her. And Vivek took all the blame on himself so that I don't harm anyone else. ". Nandini gasped at this information. Vivek was not at fault but he took the blame to save others?

"You filed the case. I used every means to save Vivek. But then you got Soha arrested. I was tensed. But everything was under control.

But you fucking sent that Gupta's detective to get to Vikram!

How dare you!

You were going to ruin everything if you got to know the truth. So here you are now. In my prison. And soon you will die. With that fucker father of yours.", Nandini was shocked to hear this. She was scared now. This man was insane. He could do anything.

Seeing the look on her face, Naveen laughed. " Do you wanna see your father? You know whole of your life you both stayed away from each other. Now in your last moments, let me give you both some time together.", he said and gestured his men about something.

After a few moments, Nandini gasped seeing the sight in front of her. Vivek was being dragged into the room by two men. He was in a very bad state. He was beaten up badly and had bruises all over his body. He was almost out of his senses and couldn't even stand properly. Tears came in her eyes seeing his state.

" Bastard! Wanted to confess in front of the court about everything. Wanted to tell everyone about me. Thought I would let him do it. See where he is now. On his death bed. Hahaha!", Naveen said with a sinister laugh, when Vivek was thrown on the floor beside Nandini.

" Enjoy your father-daughter moment Sweathearts. And han! Wait for me to end your lives.", he said with a saddistic smile before moving out of the room.

All of them were sitting in Commissioner's cabin and trying every possible way to find Nandini. But there were no results till now which was making them restless.

Manik was seating with closed with frowns decorating his forehead. He was thinking hard to find something. He was remembering all the incidents that took place from the morning.  Trying to join the dots. Then something struck his mind. He stood up suddenly making every head turn to him.

" I think I know where she is."
