Vivek Murthy's place

Vivek Murthy was sulking in his room.

" You are the worst father ever."

" I hate you"

Only these words were in his mind.

Soha's face when she uttered those words. Full of disgust and hatred and offcourse...PAIN.

He knew at that moment only, that he lost his only support. His Daughter.

The only one he ever loved truly is only and only her. But today, he lost her too.

He felt helpless.

He felt as if his heart was being crushed under a heavy load.

He felt as if his mind would burst now.

He closed his eyes and laid on the bed.

He was alone in the whole mansion today. Even Niharika left him. Although he didn't show her, but he loved her. He had actually fallen for Niharika Aggarwal when he went to woe her for her father's money. But he had to forget all his feelings just because of her dumbness. She had become a threat for him. Thats why he threatened her to keep quiet. He was helpless then. (Well this all are his thoughts.)

He closed his eyes in an attempt to close out the todays memories. But all in vain. His mind again flooded with them. And he felt a very painful grip on his heart.

He got up to fetch the water jug from the bedside table. He poured some water and drank it in one go. But still no relief.

Suddenly his head started pounding with pain. He held his head in his hands and groaned in immense pain.

No one was there to come and hold him. Even the servants didn't come to him. Why would they? He never cared wether they live or die. Why would they care for him then?

Slowly, he walked to the cupboard and took out the painkiller. He took a pill and again headed back to the bed to get some sleep.

But sleep was far away.

The king sized bed, with imported soft matress, couldn't now give him any peace. It felt as if he was on a cold hard floor.

The elegant mansion bedroom, decorated in a sophisticated manner, screaming money...........now seemed to suffocate him.

Finally he was feeling what he had inflicted on many others.......PAIN.

Finally being frustrated he got up and walked to the balcony. Standing there holding onto the railing, he looked at the vastness of the night sky.

It was vast, but dark.

No star could be seen accompanying the moon.

Even the moon was almost hidden in the clouds.

It looked like the night sky was mocking at him. Saying, " Just look at me today. Your world is just like me. You have everything, but nothing. Just like the moon. It has got stars. But none are there for him now. You have also got many people. Your blood relations even. But none is there with you today. You are alone. Just like the moon. And just like it, you are also covered with clouds. Clouds of your own sins. And soon, your world will turn completely dark. BLANK."

" Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!", a loud scream was heard, and the elegant glass table in the balcony holding a vase of beautiful flowers, lay broken into thousand pieces. There sat beside it a broken man with his hand bleeding.

But the irony is, he had no one to even clean that bleeding hand and put a bandage on it. There was no one to hug him and wishper soothing words in his ears.

His life has really started turning completely BLANK.

" Ringgggggg! Rinnnnggggggg!"

The continuous ringing of the phone broke Vivek Murthy's sleep. He opened his eyes to see the sun slowly rising from the eastern horizon.

Irony isn't it? He wakes up to the rising sun, only to know that his own life's sun is setting. Well thats what destiny is.

He realises that he had fallen asleep in the balcony itself last night. The table lay broken. His wound in his right hand was still unattended to. It has stopped bleeding now, but the hand has swollen to double its size. Some of the broken glass pieces have also pierced his arm which had accidentally fallen on the broken mess.

He sighed seeing himself. The phone had already stopped ringing. He looked at the time and found it was just 4: 45am. He got up and first moved to the washroom. Freshening up, he changed into clean clothes and dressed his hand. It was then that his phone rang again.

This time he picked it up to see the caller was his PA. He recieved the call and put it on his ears.

But what he heard from the other side, snatched the floor beneath his feet. The phone fell from his hold. He felt numb.

The butler who had entered his room with his morning coffee called him loudly to bring him back from the shocked state. He immediately picked up his phone and told his PA that he was reaching in 10 mins.

And that was it. The butler was surprised to see him running out of the house with his car keys and phone, like a mad man. As if he was going loose his everything.

But what he didn't know, he is actually going to loose his everything.

10: 30 am

" Vivek Murthy turns bankrupt. His whole empire crashes down. Investors demand repayment. "

Everyone sat in the living room, with their eyes widened, glued to the TV screen, which was showing the breaking news of the day. How did it even happen in one single night? Till yesterday, everything was fine. But suddenly in one single night how could a whole empire tumble down?

" Sources have confirmed that the great SN Foundation, owned by Mr.Vivek Murthy, has finally tumbled down. The owner himself has gone bankrupt.
It is being said that, the biggest ever project of Mr.Murthy, which he had claimed to be his dream project, has crashed. Because of the large money investment he had made in the project, he has gone completely bankrupt now.
His other investors are demanding him to repay their money. But will Mr. Murthy be able to repay the money after bearing such a big loss? What will happen now?
It was yesterday only that Mr.Murthy's daughter Ms. Soha Murthy was arrested by the police for putting fake molestation case on Manik Malhotra and trying to defame him. Is this the reason for this fall down?

All eyes turned towards the one figure sitting beside Yug with a ' Couldn't care less' attitude. Their eyes narrowed at her.

" What?", finally she asked, being completely irritated with their questioning gazes.

They raised their eyebrows at her with ' I know its you so spill it out' look. But it is Nandu they are dealing with.

Narrowing her eyes at them she sarcastically replied, " If you all have forgotten, I am a doctor and not a bussinesswoman. I can't obviously destroy someone's bussiness. "

She shrugged casually and sat back on her seat turning her head towards the TV which was again and again showing the same news.

Everyone shared confused looks and finally Yug decided to break the silence. " Shia. How did this happen?"

She turned to him smiling widely. It was only Yug, to whom she always blurted out everything. Right from the very childhood. " Bhai. Aapko pata haina ki main aapko hamesha sab kuch bata deti hun?" Yug nodded with a smile. " To iss baar bhi bata rahi hun ki ye jo kuch bhi hua hai, ye maine nahin kiya hai." And Yug made a bad face.

All their faces fell. How much they wanted to hear that she has done it and then listen to her masterplan.

" Han par planning meri hi hai.", she said casually and everyone's eyes again shone with excitement. Nandini giggled seeing her crazy family and shook her head in disbelief.

" Aur execution mera.", a voice came from the main door and all their gazes turned to it. There stood a familiar person (for few).

Abhi, Navya, Arya and Nandu smiled widely running to him and taking him in a group hug. While Fab3 and the Malhotras stood there in confusion. Who the hell was he?

" Maddy bro! How are you!", Navya squealed in happiness making Cabir and Manik widen their eyes in realisation. It was Madhyam Singhaniya. The last member of the squad from Hanstens.

Madhyam Singhaniya

The only heir of the great Singhaniya Empire. He studied with AbhNavNi and Arya in Hanstens University. Soul btother of Abhi and Arya. A Bestfriend for Navya. And for Nandini, he is the one who can fulfill the place of Yug. Protective elder brother to her.
He is currently working as MD of Singhaniya Industries under his Dad and Grandad. A very mature and calm person. Like a peacemaker of the squad. But when it comes to his friends and family, he can even set the world on fire.

Maddy smiled and ruffled her hair making her slap his hand in annoyance and the rest three laughed out loud. Their group was now complete.

Maddy hugged Abhi and Arya and finally moved to Nandini. He kissed her temple with brotherly affection and smiled at her. Madhyam has always seen Nandini as his baby sister. Navya was mature like him, so she was his best friend. But Nandini was always his pampered baby. She would always throw her tantrums at him and he would happily oblige.

Suddenly that smile turned into a smirk. " Howz my gift Pumpkin?", he asked, making the same smirk reflect on her face. " Fantastic.", she replied and both burst out laughing. They turned around to see the others sitting there all confused. They looked at each other and sighed. Its time to give some answers.

Vivek Murthy's Cabin

" How can this happen? I...I had made sure everything was going perfect. Then how can they back out?", Vivek Murthy growled in frustration. It has been 5 hours since he rushed to the office. But still they are not able to fix the problem..

Lets see what actually happened....

Flashback
5: 30 am

Vivek Murthy rushed inside the building in his night clothes. He didn't even get time to wear his shoes. He turned out in his slippers.

But whats the matter?

His PA called him and informed that their most important project has crashed down. But how can that happen?

He rushed to his cabin where he found his PA, his Manager and 2 other employees already waiting outside with tensed faces. He gestured them to follow him and moved inside.

" Now tell me. What actually happened? How..how can the project just crash down like this? It was the most important for us God Damn It!", he shouted making everyone shiver.

" Sir actually all the 5 investors of our project have backed out of it.", his PA said, dropping the bomb on Vivek. " And all our funds have already been utilised. We don't have any more funds left. The project has to shut down now. " , he added, making Vivek clutch his head. Wasn't yesterday's incident enough? Why is God putting him into such situation?

" But why did they back out? Is it beca....because of ye..yesterday's incident?", Vivek stammered a bit, but managed to ask. Rohan, his PA nodded and Vivek sighed in worry.

This. This was why he said those words in media yesterday. He can't afford to loose his empire. But still he is loosing it. How?

One by one he called all the 5 investors and requested them to rethink on their decisions. But all in vain. No one was agreeing to work with him now. He even offered double the profit promised earlier. But still none would budge.

He felt helpless again. And this time for his tumbling bussiness. What can he do now? His Manager suggested to ask some others to invest. And he tried too.

But the fact that he never had a very good relationship with anyone, failed him in gaining any help. He was all alone now. He was frustrated. He was......in PAIN. Again.

Flashback over

Vivek was sitting in his cabin with his head clutched tightly. He has started getting calls from his investigators of other projects and his clients for refund of their money. It was out in the media that he has lost all his funds now. He had nothing left to repay the huge amount of everyone.

He felt an urge to bang his head to the wall and kill himself. Suddenly his PA entered his cabin hurriedly.

" Sir. I have found something.", he said making Vivek come out of his thoughts. He hurried to him and gestured him to continue.

" Sir, all the 5 of our investors have got one thing in common." Vivek raised his eyebrow asking what. "They all are getting linked with Singhaniya Industries in one or the other way. " , he said dropping another bomb on his head.

And thats when Vivek realised that he was no longer the master of his own game.

His daughter is playing it, and he is just a mere pawn.

" Okay so till now I got it. His project crashed down because all 5 of his investors backed out. But why did they? The speech he gave yesterday in the media was enough to gain him sympathy.", Viren asked being totally confused with what Nandini said till now.

" How did you manage to convince all the 5 to back out?", this time Manik asked making Nandini smile. He was always to-the-point-and-no-nonsense type. One of his attitudes which she always loved.

Maddy looked at him and smirked. " Rathores and Mehtas are small companies. 2 months ago when we made this plan, I invested a huge sum in these two companies. My investment is the backbone of their upcoming projects. So if I back out, their companies will be at stake. So....", he trailed out and others got his point. " So they have to do whatever you ask them. And you asked them to back out from SN industries.", Abhi said and Maddy nodded. All smiled a bit now, being able to understand their plan.

" But what about Raizadas, Goenkas and Kalki Corporation?", Raj asked and Maddy turned to him.
" Uncle, Mr. Raizada is our family friend. So when my Dad made him understand the situation, he happily agreed to back out. Even he didn't like Vivek Murthy's attitude and was with him only for the profit. ", he said and Raj nodded.

" And about Goenkas and Kalki, the Singhaniyas offered them a big merger which can profit all three companies hugely. But the only condition was that they should not have any contact with SN. And they agreed as this merger can gain them more profit than SN, which they think, can close down any moment.", Nandu completed the explanation and all the family members smiled widely. They were proud of their princess.

She was really a evil and sharp-minded shrewd businesswoman. Its a pity that she chose to be a doctor instead.

Outside SN Industries

There was a huge crowd outside SN Industries.

The media people were trying hard to get in and question Vivek Murthy.

The investors and clients were making a hug fuss, demanding refund of their money.

The middle class and lower middle class men who had given the advance payments for their houses under the project, were now shouting and screaming for Vivek Murthy to refund their money.

But the real question was, Where is Vivek Murthy?

The police had immediately set off to get him when the investors and clients lodged accusations of fraud against him. But they couldn't find him in his office. They went to his house. There also they couldn't find him. They searched everywhere. But there was no trace of Vivek Murthy.

Where the hell did he vanish?
