The Murthys were sitting at the table, having their breakfast and discussing something or the other when Nandini recieved some call.

Nandini: Commissioner uncle ka call?

All looked at her curiously while she picked up the call.

Phone convo

Nandini: Good Morning Uncle.

C: Good Morning Nandini. Sorry to disturb you early morning.

Nandini: Thats completely fine Uncle. Tell me. Is there any problem?

C: Ah no...... nothing serious. Its just that you deposited all proofs against Vivek Murthy. So we need to take your statement on it. You know just for the court proceedings. Tommorrow is the hearing. So can you come to Bandra Police station today to give your statement?

Nandini: Sure sir. I just got some appointments now. I'll be there at 12 today sir.

C: Good then. I'll be waiting for you.

She hung up and told everyone about it. Anjali was skeptical about her going alone. But she assured her by saying that she'll take Arya with her as he was also a part of her plan.

All finished their breakfast and left for their respective works.

Nandini entered her cabin at 11 after attending to all her appointments. She sat there waiting for Arya. She was sitting resting her head on the back rest when her mind started drowning to the memories of 4 days ago.

Nandini's pov

I woke up in the morning to find myself alone in the room. Thinking that Manik would have woken up early and left the room, I went to freshen up. I remembered I had to attend a very important conference today and started getting ready in my formals. I decided to wear something ethnic today.

I took my bag, apron and stetho and moved downstairs. I entered the living room to see all including the Malhotras and Fab5 sitting there having some serious discussion. They all seemed to be very tensed. I approached them with a good morning to which they immediately stopped their discussions and looked at me with tensed faces.

Nandini: What happened guys? Aap sab itne stress mein kyun lag rahe ho?

They looked at each other and finally I saw them nodding at each other. Yug Bhai came and made me sit on the sofa beside Navi. He held my hands and said

Yug: Shia. Whatever we're gonna say now, just listen to me carefully okay?

I nodded.

Yug: Soha came here today.

I looked at him with a shocked expression. Soha was as dangerous as her father. I can't underestimate her. She can do anything.

Yug: She was very angry with this all. Police ne tere evidences pe Vivek Murthy ke saare industries aur offices band karwa diye hain.SN Musics bhi seal ho gayi hai and that was run by Soha. So basically they are screwed now. This has made Soha mad. Tum gehri neend mein thi isiliye you couldn't know anything. She created some drama and tried to reach you but Manik stopped her. Then Niharika Murthy came here and forcefully took her with herself.

I looked speechless. I knew that something like this may happen. But still Soha's behaviour scared me. She can do anything to harm me and my family. I can't let this happen. But still I didnt let fear show in my face. I need to be strong for my family.

Nandini:(calmly) Usne koi threats nahin diye?

Vishal: She threatened ki she will destroy us all. She said she'll make sure her Dad is released.

Nandini: Umm....thats not really possible. Because the proofs against him are very strong. She cant do anything. Agar hamare video se wo bach bhi jaye, apne illegal bussinesses aur rackets ke liye unhe saza hokar rahegi. So for now, thats not a concern.

All sighed in relief. But the fear of Soha's threat was there. Seeing the atmosphere so tensed, Nandu decided to lighten it.

Nandini: Come on people. We are not that weak to get broken by someone like that Poha. We are strong because all are together. We will fight this together. Pehle bhi kitni baar Vivek Murthy ne hame todne ki koshish ki. But did we break? No. Everytime we stood out stronger than before. Aage bhi yahi hoga. ( All smiled widely)
And I know aap log mere liye tensed hai. But dont you know who I am? Come on yaar I am Nandini Murthy. I am the daughter of Sunaina Murthy who was a fighter. I wont break so easily this time. I promise it. (All were proudly looking at her)
So cheer up. Yaar maine to socha tha ki maine itna bada kaam kiya hai, to mujhe mera award milega. Par yahan to sab log aise sade hue faces banake baithe hain.

She pouted making all laugh. Anjali came and hugged her tight.

Anjali:(wishpering) Mera strong Bacha.

Flashback over

Her thoughts were broken by Arya who barged into her cabin with Navya. They both were laughing at something.

Nandini: Kya baat hai guys? Itni hasi kis karan? Kripaya hame bhi bataye.

Navya: Kuch nahin Nandu. Wo bas Arya was telling me about how you spoiled his date.

Nandu: (chuckling thinking about it) Haan yaar. That was amazing. Kitna sukoon mila tha mujhe us din.

Arya:(sarcastically) Main bhi usi sukoon ki talaash mein hun Mate. Mauka milte hi main fire karunga dekhna.

Nandini and Navya laughed at him while Arya just made a bad face but soon joined them.

After sometime Arya and Nandini were heading towards the Bandra police station in Arya's car.

Arya: Kya hua Nandu? Why so silent bro?

Nandini: Kuch nahin Arya. Just tired.

Arya: Jab tujhe jhut bolna nahin ata, to try hi kyun karti hai?

Nandini:(frustatedly) Arya yaar....... Kya bolun main tujhe? Yahi ki maine sabke saamne to bol diya ki Soha se darr nahin lagta par real mein mujhe har wakt uska dar satata hai? Har wakt bas baithke yahi anticipate karti rehti hun ki uska next step kya hoga? Yaar jitna bhi try karun lekin I cannot get peace of mind. Aur Manik ko bhi abhi hi Delhi jana tha?

Arya:(sighed) Nandu...... getting tensed is normal in this condition. I know that daughter is a carbon copy of her father. She is dangerous. But you also know na ki we all are with you. To kyun stress le rahi hai?
Everytime you dont have to keep your pain inside you and fight alone Bacha. You can share. I promise ki ham sab har kadam pe tera saath denge.

Nandini: I know Arya ki tum sab mere saath ho. Isiliye to I am calm outside. Par iss inner turmoil ko kaise shaant karun?

Arya:(playfully) Ab uska to sirf ek hi ilaaz hai. Manik Malhotra.

Nandini got frustrated as he was right, but the person concerned was not there with her now. How is she supposed to keep herself calm?

They reached the police station and met the commissioner. They completed some paperwork, gave their statements and met their lawyer.

Lawyer:(forwarding his hand to Nandu) Hi Ms. Murthy. I am Kunal. Kunal Ahuja. Your lawyer.

Nandini: (shaking hands with him) Nice to meet you Mr. Ahuja. I hope you have understood the gravity of this case.

Kunal: Offcourse Ms. Murthy. Afterall that's my job. I know the case properly. I promise you that I will give my everything to put that bastard behind bars.

Nandini smiled at him faintly. Kunal could understand what must she be going through as the bastard was none other than her biological father. He just gave her an assuring smile.

Discussing some more things they came out of the station and were heading towards their car when something jerked Nandini and pushed her on the road. Arya came to her rescue immediately and even Kunal was on his toes. Turning to see who it was, Nandini saw a mad looking Soha Murthy standing there shooting daggers at her. Arya made her stand up.

Kunal: What the hell is this? Do you know, I can even file a complain against you for harrassing my client?

Soha: Oh just shut it. Why are so concerned about this slut? This girl doesn't know anything other than breaking families like her mother. Her mother broke hers and now she has come to break mine.

Arya:(furiously) Just shut up girl.

Nandini was just looking at Soha silently till now. But she couldn't stop herself when she questioned her character.

Nandini:(growled) I never broke your family Soha. You know what, you are sick in your mind, just like your father. I pity you Soha. Because your father didnt teach you the difference between right and wrong. But my mother did. Atleast I don't roam around throwing myself on rich guys like you do. Or I dont even go slutting around eyeing other's husbands and fiancees like you.

Soha got furious and raised her hand to slap her but her hand was stopped in mid air. She diverted her gaze to look at the monster himself standing there glaring at her with eyes that can kill someone.

Soha: (with fake tears) See na Manik. This girl is not what you think of her. She and her family are just fooling you to gain sympathy, just for your money. She is nothing but a sl...

Manik:(roaring) Shut the fuck up!

All present there just flinched with the intensity of his rage and Soha just cowered down, scared like hell, as she knew now her end is near.

Manik:(coming closer to Soha and speaking in a dangerous voice) Dont you dare utter a single word about my fiancee from this shitty mouth of yours. Enough of your bullshits now. Your father is already there inside waiting for his end. There is no one to save you now. (Soha stared at him scared)

Manik: My girl doesn't need to show fake tears to gain my sympathy. She has my heart to herself. Do you get that!
(She nodded)

Nandini: Lets go Manik.

Manik:(shouting) No Shona. Let me put some brain in her empty skull. (Turning to Soha) What did you say? Nandini is behind me for money? (Soha gulped and ttied to say something but was cut in by Manik) Then listen to me loud and clear. My girl doesnt need my money ever. She is capable enough to show anyone their place. She has worked hard to gain what she has today. And trust me, she can even buy you now. So stop pointing at her and think about yourself. Your father is in jail now. Your companies have shut down. You dont have the capability to stand on your feet either. What will you do now?

Manik smirked while tears formed in Soha's eyes.

Manik: Take my advice Soha. Stay away from Nandini. Otherwise I'll finish you. And you very well know I can do that.

Soha gulped and nodded. Manik held Nandini's hand and went from there followed by Arya and Kunal who were shooting daggers at her.

Soha stood there rying to seep in everything that happened today. Her eyes turned redder. Her fists tightened.

Soha: You took away everything from me Nandini. But dont be happy. I will not let you win ever. (With a dirty smirk and evil eyes) Just wait and watch, how I fail all your plans and destroy all your hopes.

So......finally done with another chapter.
