Mansoor kaka dropped Nandini to a place near the beach. She could feel Manik's presence near her, but couldnt see him. Suddenly she heard a voice,

Voice: Wahinpe khadi rahogi ya age bhi badhogi?

She pouted angrily but neverthless moved forward. She found a small pamphlet lying there giving her direction. She walked according to the directions and reached a dark place. She was confused now as well as scared. When she was starting to feel restless due to the darkness, she heard a soothing voice.

Voice: Mujhe pata hai ki tum andhere se darti ho.. oops sorry.. andhera tumhe pasand nahin hai. (Nandu pouted) Par Shona, main chahta hun ki isssi andhere ko ujale se bhardun. Aise hi andhere mein aisi yaadein banaun ki age jaake jab bhi andhera ho, tab tab tumhe sirf hamare haseen pal hi yaad aye.

Nandu smiled and suddenly she felt her heart lightening. She was getting comfortable in the darkness. She knew that it was not easy but Manik's love has made it easy. She took another step but was stoped again by the voice.

Voice: Kareeb 10 mahine pehle, mere bhai Cabir Malhotra ki shaadi Navya Bose se hui. Uss shaadi mein sab maujud the siwaye ek ladki ke. Navya uspe bahut gussa thi. Bolti thi ki wo ladki jab use dikhegi na to uska biryani banake burhani raite ke saath kha jayegi. (Nandu laughed). Main curious hone laga uss ladki se milne ke liye. Har koi usi ladki ka gun gaa raha tha. Aur main utawla ho raha tha. Navya ne mujhe uski pic offer ki. Par mujhe to use sachai mein hi dekhna tha. Sab se uski taarif sun sun ke main bawla ho gaya. Navya mujhe kehti thi uske baarein mein to main kehta tha " Hatt pagal, aisi ladki duniya mein ho sakti hai kya? Impossible." Aur wo mujhe bas itna kehti thi, " Jab use asal mein miloge tab tumhe yakeen ho hi jayega. Aur tumhare hosh uddjayenge." Main aur utawla hone laga. ( Nandu was listening to him curiously)
6 mahine beet gaye. Par wo ladki kabhi mere saamne hi nahi ayi. Phir ek din meri maa ne mujhe kaha ki unhone mere liye ek rishta dekha hai. Mujhe unse milwana tha. Ye baat sunte hi pata nahin kyun uss ladki ka khayal mere dimag mein aya. Aisa lagne laga ki kaash ye wahi ladki ho. Har pal bas usike baare mein sochne laga. Socha ki main pagal ho gaya hun. Par main gaya rishta dekhne.
(Nandu felt air being blown at her from back. She could feel him standing really close to her. He lowered his voice to a hushky one and continued.) Wo din meri zindagi ka sabse khushnaseeb din tha. Mere to sachme hosh hi udd gaye. Kyunki wahan jaake mujhe pata chala ki wo wahi ladki thi jisse mujhe shayad milne se pehle hi pyaar ho gaya tha.

Lights came. Nandu was surprised to see the view in front of her. It was astounding.

She turned to get another shock. Manik was sitting on his knees. He was looking at her, admiring all her features. Adoring how beautiful she looked in his favourite colour. His eyes met her eyes. He looked in her eyes intently and spoke the lines that Nandu was dying to hear.

Manik: Shona, mujhe tumse milne se pehle hi tumse pyaar ho gaya tha. Thoda der se har cheez samajhta hun na. Isliye ye bhi der se samjha. Par ab itna to jaanta hi hun ki tumhare bina jeena mushkil hi nahin naamumkin hai mere liye. Tum meri rag rag mein bas chuki ho. Tumhare saath pura hun aur tumhare bina kuch nahin. Har saans mein tumhare khayaal leta hun. Pagal ho gaya hun. Aisa pagal jiska koi ilaaz nahin hai. Ye pagalpanti tumhare liye hai. Tum meri beemari bhi ho aur tumhi meri dawa bhi. Pata hai bahut cheesy hai par kya karein, aur kuch shabd aate hi nahin dimag mein. To .......

Nandu was looking at him with slight tears in her eyes. She was overwhelmed to hear so much love from the person whom she loved so much.

Manik: Ms Nandini Murthy.... kya tum mujhe tumhe apna banane dogi? Kya tum mera hath iss zindagi bhar ke liye thamne dogi? Will you be mine forever? Will you become Mrs. Nandini Manik Malhotra?

Nandini was spellbound. She never expected Manik to make it so special for her. She had never expected Manik to confess his love to her in this way. He didnt need the typical I love you to let her know how much he loves her. Just by his words he was able to let her know how important she is in his life.

She bent in front of Manik and sat o her knees. She cupped his face and placed her lips on his shocking him. She started kissing him passionately but Manik was too shocked to react. It was only when Nandu bit his lips, that he realised what was happening and kissed her back. They shared a passionate kiss. Nandu's hands were interlocked with Manik's silky hair as she pulled him closer to herself. On the other hand Manik's hands did magic on Nandu. His touches created havoc in her. They broke the kiss reluctantly when the need for oxygen was felt. Nandini joined their foreheads. Both were panting heavily with closed eyes. Suddenly Nandu wishpered

Nandu: Jawab milgaya?

Manik looked at her to find her smiling. He immediately took her in a bonecrushing hug. Manik was continuosly wishpering the same thing "Thank you" making Nandu giggle and he got lost in the giggle. They both were absorbing each others presence when Nandu wishpered in his ears

Nandu: I love you.

Manik's breath hitched. He broke the hug and looked at her. Nandu looked at him and smiled. She stood up and took a few steps backward

Nandu:(standing there looking at Manik) Manik Malhotra. Tumhe andaaza bhi nahin hai ki tumne mujhe kya bana diya hai. Pehle tumhari awaazne mujhe deewana banaya tha. Tumhari awaaz mere har marz ki dawa ban gayi thi. Aur ab tum. Tum meri zindagi ka sirf ek hissa nahin, meri puri zindagi ban chuke ho.(She continued in a dramatic way and loud voice) To aaj main in sitaaron ko shakshi maanke ye shapath leti hun ki naa to main kabhi tumhe chhodke jaungi aur naahi tumhe kabhi mujhse dur jaane dungi. Aur agar tumne jaane ki koshish bhi ki to tumhe apne aap se rassi se kasss ke baandh dungi.

Manik chuckled at his jhalli dramaqueen. He got up and went towards.

Manik: Sachi?

Nandu: Muchi.

Manik cupped her face and neared her. He placed his lips on her sealing the promise. It was a soft kiss. A kiss of promise that they will not leave each other's hand ever. There was no hurry, there was only peace in the moment. Nandu melted in Manik's arms and Manik pulled her closer to himself. They broke the kiss after few minutes and joined their foreheads. Suddenly Nandu heard something that left her surprised to the core.

Manik:(wishpering in her ear) Happy Birthday Shona.

Nandu broke the hug abruptly and looked at Manik who was looking at her amused. She looked at her watch to see it was 12. She again looked at Manik. She had shocked expressions which suddenly changed into a excited one and she literally jumped on Manik and kissed his cheek.

Nandu:(shouting with excitement) Oh my God Manik! I turned 28! Its My Birthday!

Manik laughed at her childishness and twirled her. He put her down and said

Manik: Hmm to aaj birthday girl ki pehli wish kya hai?

Nandu: (with a cute pout) Ummm.... Yahi ki aaj ka pura din tum mere saath bitaoge.

Manik happily nodded in yes making Nandu jump with excitement. Manik laughed at his Baby Shona who just turned 28.

They had their dinner with lots of romance.
