Finally Manik decided that he should ask the question now only. As if not now, then never. Nandu has to let out everything to be joined again. He turned to Nandu who was just smiling leaning back onto him with closed eyes. He called softly

Manik:Nandu

Nandu:(still with her eyes closed) Kuch puchna hai Manik?

Manik: Woh.. woh tum logon ne... I mean Hidden 7 ne music kyun chhod diya?

Nandu's smile vanished. She stayed silent for some time. Manik also didnt tell anything. He was waiting for her to open up as he knew that she will speak up. After sometime Manik noticed tear drops falling from her closed eyes. He was about to tell something when Nandu started speaking still eyes closed.

Nandu: Maa ke chale jaane ke baad.... I was broken. She was my music. Unhi ke wajah se maine gaana shuru kiya. Unhi ke wajah se gaati thi. Unhi ke liye gaati thi. Par unke jaane ke baad main toot gayi thi. The reason of my music was no more. To phir meri music kaise exist kare?

Manik: Par Shona ...

Nandu : Manik please. I dont want to argue now. Please mujhe phirse music mein wapas jaane ko mat kaho. Please I beg you.

Tears were continuously flowing from her eyes. Manik decided that it was not the right time for trying to convince her. He hugged her and wishpered in her ears

Manik: I am sorry Jaan. I am really sorry for making you cry again.

Nandu: Its okay Manik. Tum kyun sorry bol rahe ho?

Manik: (cutely) To tum ro kyun rahe ho? Tumhe pata hai na I cant see you crying like this?(pouting)

Nandu adored his cute face. She couldnt resist herself and just kissed his cheeks. Manik was shocked by her this step. Seeing him shocked Nandu blushed.

Manik:(putting his palm on his cheek where Nandu had kissed him.) Mujhe nahin pata tha mere concern ka mujhe aise reply milega. Aisa itna achha dose milta rahe to phir main nahin jaunga yahan se. Yahin reh leta hun.

Nandu blushed hard listening to him and hid herself in his chest. He laughed and hugged her back. They both were melting in each other. Nandu looked up at him to find him looking at her intensely. She could not handle his intense gaze and turned her back to him. He hugged her from back and started nuzzling in her neck. He shifted herhair to one side and neared her and placed a kiss on her shoulder. She closed her eye,turned and hugged him. She cupped her face and neared her lips. Both had their eyes closed. They were feeling each other's hot breath on their faces. Their lips were about to meet when they were disturbed by a knock on the door. Nandu pulled back from him listening to the knock and turned to control her beating heart. Manik got annoyed as he could not takehis treat. He walked and opened the door ready to pounce on Cabir but instead found someone who boiled hisblood. Abhi was standing there with his head hung low and Mukti was standing beside him holding his hand. Manik flew into a ragewhen Mukti uttered the next words.

Mukti: Manik. Woh Abhi wants to meet Nandu.

Manik:(angry) Kyun? Use itna dard deke man nahin bhara jo use aur tadpaane aye ho?

Abhi again broke down listening to him. The little confidence that he had gained, he lost that too. Mukti sensed it and retorted back to Manik.

Mukti:(sternly) Manik! Abhi ko milne de Nandu se.

Manik:(raging) Nahin. Kabhi nahin. Ye phirse use dard dega. Main ise ab Nandu ke kareeb bhi nahin aane dunga.

Abhi broke down and fell on the floor sobbing.

Abhi:(sobbing) Please Manik. Please mujhe usse milne do. Useek baar dekhne do. Warna main marjaunga.

All on hearing Manik's shoutran upstarirs and were shocked to see the scene. Nandu who had gone to washroom came back to witness the scene that broke her heart into pieces. Her Abhi was kneeling down begging to meet her. She ran out and before Manik could say something, hugged Abhi kneeling down in front of him. Abhi on feeling his life back hugged her tight and sobbed.

Abhi:(sobbing hard) Please mujhe maaf karde Nandu. Main tere bina nahin jee paunga. Mar ja.....

Nandu slapped him to stop him from uttering those words. All were shocked and having tears in their eyes. Nandu got up and tugged Abhi to get up and follow her inside the room. Manik tried to interfere

Manik:(angry) Shona ye tum kya kar rahi ho? Isne tumhe itna dard diya. Iski wajah se aaj tumhe panic attack aya. Aur tum...

Nandu:(cutting him off) Manik tum nahin jaante ki Abhi meri zindagi ka kitna anmol hissa hai. Aur ye bhi nahin jaante ki meri uski zindagi mein kya jagah hai. To please dont interefere.

Manik kept quiet but was still glaring Abhi. Somewhere he also felt that Abhi was not at fault. But the tears he had seen in his love's eyes barred his thoughts. Neverthless he stood aside and let them get in. Nandu went in dragging Abhi and made him sit on her bed. He sat on the floor near his knees. She held his hands and spoke softly

Nandu: Abhi (Abhi looked up at her) Tujhe pata hai na ki meri zindagi mein teri kya ehmiyat hai? Pata hai na tujhe ki main tere bina adhuri rahungi? (Abhi nodded) To phir kyun ye soch raha hai ki main tujhemaaf nahin karungi? Tujhe kya lagta hai? Main kis wajah se tere se naraaz rahun? Bol?

Abhi: (sobbing) Meri wajah se. Meri wajah se tujhe itna sab kuch sehna pada. Mer...

Nandu:Pagal mat ban Abhi. Teri wajah se nahin hua wo. Tujhe kya lagta hai? Agar tu mujheuss raat wahan nahin chhodta to mere saath kuch nahin hota?

All looked at her confused.

Nandu:(Taking a deep breathe) Everything that happened that day was preplanned guys. (All were shocked listeningto this) Us din I had felt that we were being followed. Jab se ham ghar se nikle tab se. I didnt voice it out and chucked it. Jab tune mujhe wahan pe chhoda tab unhe achha mauka mil gaya bas jiske wo talaash kar rahe the. Agar tu mujhe wahan nahin chhodta to bhi wo koi aur mauka dhund lete mujhe uthane ke lie. Ye kisika plan tha. Infact they had kept close watch on me from many days. I got to know this when they used to lock me in that room and stand outside talking about me. They knew many things about me that only few people knew.

All were shocked. Nandu looked at them for any questions. When they didnt say anything she again started.

Nandu: Main bahut dinon se uss insaan ko dhundne ki koshish kar rahi hun jisne ye sab karwaya. Par I am not even getting any clue. And I dont have enough strength to go to those men in jail and ask them. (Talking about them her voice started cracking. Navya who was standing beside her side hugged her and she composed herself.)

All were standing dumbfounded. They couldnt make out who could it be who would want to harm a 15 year old innocent girl so much. Nandu saw this and didnt want the situation to become serious. Although she was completely broken from inside but she cant see her family in that pain. Also, it was today only that she has found her love. She wanted to celebrate it. She wanted to shout out to everyone that Manik loves her. So seeing the situation so serious she decided to lighten it.

Nandu:(cutely fake angrily) Ab sab log aise mun phulake kyun baithe ho yaar? Ho gaya na mera bhasan khatam ab baith jao. Aur tu Abhi, kya aise bachon ki tarah ro raha hai? Chal aansu ponch apne.( She took her napkin and cutely wiped Abhi's tears. Although tears were threatening to fall fron her eyes, she stopped them and brought a cute smile on her face. All admired her smile and decided not to discuss this matter any more as it would only make her aad and they cant see their angel sad at all. But her protective brothers which now included both Cabir and Dhruv also, and Manik talked through eyes that they would be discussing about it later. All smiled and Abhi too smiled and hugged her) Ab se aise mat royiyo. Rotlu ban gaya na to ladki nahun milegi tujhe.

Abhi made a pout and all laughed. They were happy to find their Nandu back and all thanked Manik in their hearts. But Manik was still glaring atAbhi as it was because his onestatement only that Nandu got the attack today. Nandu noti ed this made an angry pout

Nandu: Manik!

Manik: (still angry) Par usne tumpe aaj chillaya kyun?

Nandu: (fake anger and in a warning tone) Manik! Tum chup chap Abhi ko maaf karoge ya mujhe kuch karna padega.

Manikgit scared by her warning and immediately went and hugged Abhi. Abhi wishpered a sorry in his ears and he forgave him with a smile. They all decided to take some rest as it was almost morning now. Fab3 left to their homes after hugging Nandu. When the Malhotras were leaving, Nandu made a sad pout. Seeing her Manik made a sorry face. And seeing both of them, Jeevika came to their rescue.

Jeevika: Manik Cabir Navya tum teenon ruk jao na yahan pe thodi der aur. Sab thodi der rest karlo aur phir milke khana khayenge. Nandu ko bhi achha lagege.

Manik was more than happy for it and Cavya also complied. They went to Navya's room in Bose mansion while Manik went to a guest room. But after some time he sneaked into Nandu's room and closed the door. He found her lying on her bed and thinking something. He went and sat beside her and and caressed her hair.

Manik: (softly) Kya soch rahi ho shona?

Nandu: (looking at him) Tum abhi bhi gussa hi Abhi pe? Please Manik use maaf kardo na. Wo Mamma ke baat ko leke bahut sensitive hai. Isiliye usne gusse mein aisa bol diya. He never meant to hurt me.

Manik:(calmly) Shona relax. MainAbhi pe gussa nahin hun ab. Maine uska pyaar dekha tumhare liye. Myjhe achhi tarah se pata haiki tum uske liye kya ho. Kitni anmol ho. Tum uski zinfldagiho. Wo tumhe kabhi hurt karna nahin chah sakta.

Nandu smiled and snuggled into him. Manik lovingly caressed her hairs.

Nandu: (wishpering) Manik

Manik:Hmm

Nandu:(wishpering) Mujhe sona hai.

Manik immediately complied

Manik: Haan Shona tum so jao. Thak gayi hogi na. Tum so jao main jaata hun.

He was about about to get up when she held his hand and stopped him. She wanted him to be with her. So she just pulled him but the pull was very hard and he fell on her. Both were lost in the moment. He was lost in the doe shaped eyes which said that she was his. She was lost in those chocolate orbs which showed immense love only for her. He neared her. She closed her eyes feeling their proximity. His breathe was fanning her. He went very close to her and wishperee just above her lips.

Manik:I love you shona

And he placed his lips on hers. Their lips blended in each other and this created a havoc in their souls. Manik bit her lips and she gasped. Finding the opportunity Manik entered his tounge inside to relish every corner of her mouth. Their tounges fought with each other but then Nandu gave up. Manik relished every corner of her mouth. After some time when he felt her gasping for air, he broke apart and joined their forehead. She was panting hard and he was rubbing her back to soothe her. After sometime she came to normal and Manik kissed her forehead.

Manik: So jao Shona.

Nandu held him tight and he knew that she doesnt want him to go away. So he hugged her, adjusted himself beside her and lied down. She placed her head on his chest and listened to her lullaby, his heartbeat which was fast now for her only. He caressed her hair and she drifted into sleep. But he kept thinking how to find out the real culprit.

Manik:(in mind) I promise you Shona. Jald hi main tumhare asli gunehgaar ko laake tumhare saamne khada karungi.

Ho gaya!
