Abhi broke down in tears after telling the truth to Mukti while Mukti was numb. She could not believe that such a maasoom and happy-go-lucky girl like Nandini could have such a horrible past. Moreover Abhi's breakdown made her more scared. She has also suffered in life and she knows how it feels. But what Nandu has gone through is something she can never imagine in her dreams. She turned to Abhi and made him look at her. Abhi looked at her face and then her eyes which had some new feelings for him which made him more vulnerable in front of her. He hugged Mukti and cried hard.

Abhi: Main haar gaya Mukti. Haar gaya main. Naina Maa ne kaha tha mujhe ki main hamesha Nandu ki raksha karoon. Par haar gaya main. I lost as a brother. Meri wajah se....meri wajah se meri khud ku behan ko itna kuch sehna pada. Sirf meri wajah se.

Mukti: Abhi ( making him look at her who was still coaxing himself) Abhi. Dekho mujhe. (Abhi looked at her) Tum haare nahin ho Abhi. Tum haare nahin ho. (Abhi nodded his head in no) Suno meri baat pehle. Kya tumhe pehle se pata tha ki uss din Nandu ke saath wo sab hone wala hai?(Abhi nodded in no) Agar tumhe pata hota to kya tum us raat use wahan chhodte?( Abhi frantically nodded in no) To kaise hua ye tumhari wajah se? Haan main maanti hun ki tumhari galati thi. Tumhe uss raat itni raat ko use akela ek second ke liye bhi nahin chhodna chahiye tha. Par jo Nandu ke saath hua wo tumhari galati nahin thi. Woh to un haivaanon ka gunah tha. Aur phir tumne use apna pura pyaar deke use phirse heal hone mein madad ki. Hamesha use khush dekhna chaha. Yahi ek achhe bhai ka pharz hota hai Abhi ki wo apni behan ka haat har tanaav wali situation mein kass ke pakde aur use har wo strength de ki wo uss situation ko himmat se saamna kar le. Tum bahut achhe bhai ho Abhi. Bahut achhe bhai.

Abhi just hugged Mukti tight and whishpered

Abhi: Kya wo mujhe maaf karegi?

Nandu's room

Manik was lost in Nandu's pain. He was heartbroken to know how much his love had to go through. He was shocked to know that the girl whose s laughs and talks always gave him strength to face the difficult situations, herself has suffered so much in such a small age. And he was surprised to see the girl with such a horrible past stand so strong in front of him. His pain increased, his love increased and his respect increased for her. He had always thought that Nandu had some bad past, but never even thought in his dreams that it would be so terrible. The girl had to go through so much and then even loss her mother at the time when she needed her the most.
He looked at Nandu to find her lost. Her face was blank and she was looking at the horizon. He felt a sudden jolt in his heart seeing his ever smiling ever laughing Shona in this condition. He couldnt stop himself from hugging her tight.
Nandini when felt the warmth of Manik, the same warmth that she got from her mother, the same warmth that she had craved ever since Naina left her, broke down in the embrace of her love although she has not yet realised how much she loved him.

Nandu:(sobbing and hiding herself in his arms) Maine unhe bahut kaha mujhe chhodne ke liye. Bahut royi, gidgidayi, par kisine meri baat nahin suni. Bahut dard hua mujhe Manik. Bahut dard. Wo...

She couldnt speak anything more and Manik just hugged her more tightly, pulling her more close to himself as if trying to hide her inside him. She snuggled into his warmth and cried more. They remained like that for sometime but suddenly Manik felt Nandini trying to separate herself from him. Thinking that she might be needing some air, he left her but what she did the next moment boiled his blood.

Nandu: Ab tum mujhse shaadi nahin karoge na? Nahin karoge na mujhse pyaar? Karoge bhi kyun? Main tumhe deserve nahin karti Manik. Tum ek gem ho. Aur main.... main pure nahin hun. Main ek.....

Manik didnt let her complete her words as he placed his lips on hers. Nandu was shocked by his sudden move. Manik slowly started sucking her lower lip. Nandu melted into his touch which was creating a havoc inside her. Manik bit her lips to bring her out of her trance and she also started responding. Manik sucked her upper lip and Nandu his lower one. They kissed very slowly. Manik was kissing her softly as if she was a delicate flower. This kiss was not just an act of love. It was a promise. A promise that they both are there for each other throughout their lives. A promise Manik made to her that may whatever come in her life, he will never leave her hand ever. He wanted her to know how important she has become to him. So important, that if she ever goes away from him, he will die.

After a minute, he left her lips and looked at her face to see if she had any signs of discomfort. But what he saw on her face was just pure love, the love that she has not confessed yet but may be has already realised of. Her eyes were closed, feeling the moment that happened just now, "There First Kiss". Her face was adored by a tint of redness which he recognised as only for him. Yes only for him. He knows now that the girl in his arms is his and only his. And no one has the right to insult her, not even the girl herself. He admired each and every feature of her face. Her pouty lips which he relished just a minute ago. Her cheeks which were covered by the red blush. Her cute nose and lastly her eyes. But he stopped at her eyes. Tears were flowing from her eyes which broke his heart. He cupped her face again and bent to kiss her eyes. He kissed away those tears, trying to kiss away the pain that had been buried in her from so many years. Nandu opened her eyes only to meet the chocolate orbs that had only pure love for her. She got lost on his eyes. Manik kissed her forehead and let his lips linger there for sometime. He then moved back and looked at her. She was still feeling the pain. The insecurity. The girl who had lost the two persons in her life whom she loved the most was now afraid to lose him. He has to make her believe that he is hers and only hers and will never leave her hand come what may. He didnt know what made him think those words, but he started singing from his heart in his soulful voice,which was today filled with another thing, 'love' , for her.

She looked at him to find him noding his head in yes and smiling. She too smiled. Yes, this was their love. His smile brought a smile on her face, and her smile made his heart smile.

He took her hand and took her near the railings of the terrace where there was a bedding on the floor. He sat down and made her sit with him. He pointed at the stars which always gave him peaces. Showing her the half moon surrounded by stars, he sang

He said this making her laugh more and he just smiled widely seeing her careless laugh. He held her hand and sang looking at her eyes

Tears came in her eyes again. But this time, they were tears of happiness. She hugged him tightly and he caressed her hairs singing

He said this making her look at him to find him looking in her eyes intensely that made shiver run down her spine and her cheeks to become redder.

He said this making her realise that she has confessed her love now through her eyes without even speaking a word and this made her turn crimson and look down smiling. Manik too smiled and sang

He ended the song with her in his hands. He made her look at him holding her chin. She looked at him with all the love she had for him. They didnt need any words as their eyes spoke volumes. She could read from his eyes that he is never gonna leave her. This made her relieved. He could read from her eyes that she loved him more than her life and this made his heart swell. They both were just looking in each other's eyes. Manik moved closer to her face. Her eyes closed feeling his hot breath on her face. Their lips were just inches apart when their moment was spoiled by a phone call. They came back to reality and Nandu looked away blushing. Manik looked at his phone to find it was from Cabir. He picked it up

Cabir: Manik, Nandu kaisi hai? Thik hai na wo?

Manik: Haan Cabir. Wo thik hai.

Cabir: Manik wo uska past...

Manik:(cutting him) Mujhe pata hai. Nandu ne mujhe bata diya hai sab kuch.

There was silence. Then finally Cabir said

Cabir: (sighing) Wo toot chuki hai Manik. Par mujhe tujhpe poora bharosa hai ki tu use phirse jod dega. Apne pyaar se use jodne ki koshiah kar. Kyunki sirf tu hi hai jo use phirse wohi Nandu bana sakta hai. Use phirse strong bana sakta hai. Kyunki...

Manik:(cutting him) Kyunki sirf ek main hi hun jo sirf usika hun. Sirf usika.

Cabir smiled listening this. He was happy for both of them. One was his brother and other was his soul sister. He just wished a best of luck to Manik and cut the call.

Manik cut the call and looked at Nandini who was looking at him after hearing his last words. Manik cupped her face

Manik:(in a soothing voice) Shona. Tumhe pata hai? Tum meri zindagi ban gayi ho. Ab agar tum mujhse dur gayi na to main mar.....( Nandu put her hand on his mouth to stop him from uttering those words. Manik just held her hands in his and continued.) Main sirf tumhara hun aur tumhara hi rahunga. Chahe kuch bhi ho jaye Nandini ke bina Manik ka koi wajood nahin hai.

Nandu felt overwhelmed hearing those words. She hugged him tightly snuggling into his warmth. He held protectively in his arms. Both were having a feeling of content. They stayed like that for sometime feeling each other's presence. But suddenly the question came in Manik's mind. He looked at Nandu to see her face adorned with a sweet smile. Should he ask it?
