This same past story is told by Nandu to Manik, Abhi to Mukti and Vishal to all others.

Flashback

After the incident when Vivek left with Niharika leaving behind an injured Nandu, she changed. She became silent all of a sudden. Every time she used to think about what she did that made her father so angry on her. She started thinking of ways to manofy him. But poor girl, she didnt realise that the person whom she loved so much didnt even care for her existence. When Naina came to know about Nandu's thoughts she madeher understand that her father is never going to come back to her. Although the small kid didnt understand the reasonbehind it but when her mother said this, shehad to accept it. And she accepted at last. She gave up all her hopes of getting back her father.

4 months passed. All the siblings tried hard to bring back the old Nandu, the chirpy and bubly one, the shaitan of the house. But couldnt. Naina was herself broken beyond repair. She started taking anti depression pills without anyone's notice. But then she decided to become strong just for her child. (Well this is what a mother is. However broken she may be, she stands strong for her child. She can bear anything but not pain in her child's eyes.) She decided to do something. And then an idea struck her.
MUSIC! The soul of Nandu and her cousins. They were all trained in music by Naina herself. Nandu was a fabulous singer just like her mother. She was a great piano player and a violin maestro. Yug was also a great singer. He had a very soulful voice which can make anyone go flat on him. He also played flute beautifully. Abhi was a wonderful percussionist. He played drums wonderfully. Anant and Jeevika were electric guitarists while Vivek was an acoustic guitarist. Navya was the one who did magic with her fingers on keys, be it a keyboard or piano or even harmonium. All were good singers but the best were Nandu and Yug.
Naina decided to form a band of them. A perfect band who made music out of their souls and stole people's heart. But she also didnt want this to come out in public. She didnt want her children to be the elements of papzz in such a small age and that too after what had happened with them lately. So she formed a band who only made music but never revealed their identity. The band who stole thousands of hearts all over the world. The band which became an inspiration for many musicians like the famous Fab5. "THE HIDDEN SEVEN".
The formation of the band brought back the real Nandu. All were very happy on getting back their life, unaware of the storm coming in their life.

6 years passed with Hidden 7 and their families busy in their lives. Vishal completed his studies and joined business with his father. Jeevika also joined as engineering intern in a famous company. Yug was doing his MBA while all others had just passed their 12th(Anant) and 10th(AbhNavNi) with flying colours recently. Nandu again showed everyone that she can even rule the world if she wants by topping in all subjects with a tota of 99%. (Maan ke challo. Aaj kal to ye 3rd topper bhi nahin hoga. Jai ho CBSE Marking scheme) Today AbhNavNi and Anant and his girlfriend Saanchi had decided to go on an icecream party. They went to the Baskin Robins after dinner. They enjoyed a lot having their favourite flavours and pulling pranks on each other and offcourse teasing the couple. Suddenly Nandu started looking at Abhi.

Abhi: Aise kya dekh rahi hai?

Nandu: Yeh soch rahi hun ki ab tu kaise rahega?

Abhi: Kaise rahunga matlab?

Nandu: Are apne Rose ke bina.

Abhi: What!

Navya was giggling while Anant and Saanchi were looking at Abhi shocked.

Anant: Abe saale tu itna aage kab badh gaya? Bataya nahin?

Saanchi: Haww! Abhi atleast mujhe to bata deta.

Abhi: (shocked) Are kya batata?

Anant: Yahi ki teri girlfriend hai.

Abhi: (shouting shocked) What! Aisa kuch nahin hai. Ae pagal ladki. Kuch bhi bolti hai.

Nandu: Oh achha. Main kuch bhi bolti hun na. To aisehi bolti hun kya? Class mein usse flirt karta rehta hai. Jab dekho tab Rose Rose karta rehta hai. Aur bolta hai ki main kych bhi bolti hun.

Navya: Haan bhaiya. Yeh na class mein hamesha usiki baat karta hai.

Nandu: Aur wo bhi kaise chipakti hai isse.

Anant:(palming his mouth dramatically) Hawww! Abhi kya se kya ho gaya!

Abhi: Shut up you all. Main jaa raha hun.

All started laughing and he got up to leave only to be pulled down by Nandu.

Nandu: Offo. Baith baith. Tu to serious hogaya.

They cracked some jokes. But Abhi was irritated as Anant and Nandu used to take up the Rose matter many times in between. Finally they decided to go back home. Saanchi's brother had come to pick him up. Navya went with Anant in his bike and Nandu went with Abhi in his scooter. Abhi was driving.
The drive was silent for sometime. It was late in night, about 11: 30. It was an isolated road when Nandu again thought of teasing Abhi. Abhi got irritated and stopped the scooter.

Abhi: Utar.

Nandu: Kya?

Abhi: Utar.

Nandu got down. Before she could register something, Abhi again started the scooter and drove away laughing and shouting

Abhi:(shouting) Apne aap aa jana ghar. Main chala.

Nandu:(shocked and angry) (shouting) Abhi ke bachhe! Teri to main!

But Abhi just drove out of sight.

Its been just 1 minute since Abhi left Nandu alone on the road. He had just drove some way and stopped the car by the road under a tree. He had devided that he will just play this prank on Nandu for one minute. Now heagain started his scooter and went back to the same spot where he had left Nandu. He reached there to see Nandu was not there on the road. He thought that Nandu must be hiding somewhere to scare him. So he parked the scooter there and called for her.

Abhi: Babydoll bahar nikal. Chal gharchalte hain. Game mat khel ab.

No reply. Abhi became a bit suspicious.

Abhi: Babydoll. Dekh I am sorry. Ab bahar aaja. Main kabhi tere saath aisa khel nahin khelunga. Sorry. Bahar aaja.

But still there was no reply. Abhi searched the whole place but didnt find Nandu anywhere. So finally getting panicked, he called Yug.

Abhi: Bhai wo....

Yug: (shouting) Abhi kahan ho tum donon? Anu aurNavu pahunch gaye. Tum dono kahan reh gaye? Itni raat ho chuki hai. Tumhe samajh mein ata bhi hai ya nahin? You both are just 15. Jab dekho ta...

Abhi: (cutting him) Bhai wo Nandu kahin gayab ho gayi hai.

Yug: Kya?

Abhi: (panicking) Haan. ... Bhai aap jaldi seyahan aa jao na. Mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai.

Yug: Tu tension mat le. Ham abhi aate hain.

All the elders had gone to Pune for attending some relatives wedding function and were to return the next day morning. So Yug called Vishal and Hidden 5 went to the spot where Abhi was frantically searching for Nandu.

Vishal: Kya hua? Wo aise kaise gayab ho gayi? Tum dono yahan lar kya rahe the?

Abhi: Bhaiya wo.... (he told him everything that happened leaving very angry Hidden 5.

Yug: Tu aisa kaise kar sakta hai? Itni sunsan raaste pe use akela chhod diya?

Abhi: (with tears) Bhai maime bas use1 minute ke lie yahan chhoda. Main to bas thoda aage jaake ghumke wapas aagaya. Utne mein hi wo gayab ho gayi.

Anant was going to scold him when Jeevika stopped him.

Jeevika: Stop it guys. Ab hame bas Nandu ko dhumdhne mein concentrate karna chahiye.

All nodded and started searching for her. But couldnt and came back home dejected. Then they informed the police. Next day when the elders returned and came to know about this, they used all their contacts to find the culprits. Naina was distressed. She was scared for her only child. The reason of her living. They searched and searched for her.

After 5 days

All were sitting in the main hall worried and scared. Navya was crying and Anant was trying to console. Abhi, who thought that everything was his mistake, was just sitting ina corner cursing himselfin his mind and shedding tears. Suddenly the police commissioner came there.

Viren: Sir, kuch pata chalameri beti ke baare mein?

PC: Viren ji aapko mere saath hospital chalna hoga.

Naina: Hospital! Hos...hospital k..kyun? Meri ba..bachi theek to h
.hai na?

PC: I am sorry par main abhi kuch nahinbata sakta. Aap sab mere saath chaliye.

All went to the hospital and were taken to the VIP floor where no one else was there. Just one room. The PC asked the doctor who took them inside. They went in just to get shocked.

Their princess was lying on the bed covered with bandages and drips piercing her body. Their hearts cried to see their life in this condition.
Naina was numb seeing her daughter like this. She died seeing her condition.

Sarthak: Kya hua hai use?

PC: Aap sab bahar chaliye. Main sab batata hun.

PC took them out to the private waiting room in the same floor. The doctor also came with them.

Naina: (sobbing) Kya hua hai meri bachi ko? Bataiye na!

PC : Dekhiye aap sambhaliye apne aap ko pehle.( turning to Viren) Hame Nandini ek band underconstruction building se mili. We tried and rescued her when we got a cue that someone was locked in there and found that its Nandini. She was locked in the dark outhouse for 5 days. Her body bears marks of thrashings. She has been brutally beaten for many days. And also drugged. And....

All were shocked to hear about this. The ones who never even tolerated a scratch on their princess were now numb to hear about her torchers. But when they found the PC hesitating from telling something, they became more scared as what else is left now?

Sarthak:(gathering his courage) Kya hua hai Commissioner sahab? Bataiye

PC: ( hesitating) Wo actually, Nandini has been sexually harassed.

And the bomb fell on all. Naina fell on the floor and Anjali and Mugdha were there beside her to console her while her fathers and brothers clenched their fists hard.

Sujoy: (gritting his teeth) Kisne kiya ye sab?

PC : Ham abhi unhe dhundhne ki koshish kar rahe hain. Jab tak ham wahan pahunche, tab tak wo wahan se bhaag chuke the. Par aap chinta mat kijie. Ham unhe jaroor dhundh nikalenge.

Viren:(angrily) Aap kuch bhi karke unhe pakadiye. Warna I will destroy you.

PC: Dekhiye aap bharosa rakhiye. Aapke beti ke gunehgaar ko saza zaroor milegi. Yeh mera vaada hai aapse. Main bhi Nandiniko achhe se jaanta hun aur useapni beti jaisa maanta hun. Jin logon ne bhi uske saath ye sab kiya hai, main unhe saza dilwakar rahunga.

At that moment nurse came and informed the doctors that Nandu has gained consciousness. All rushed to her room. The doctor went in and came out after sometime to tell them that they all can meet her but please dont cry in front of her as she is already in mental trauma.

They all rushed in and died thousand times seeing the piece of theirheart lying there lifelessly. Marks of harrassment were visible on her face. She was numb. Her face was devoid of any emotions. She was looking straight at the ceiling blankly. Their hearts pierced seeing her condition. But first Naina put a normal face and went to her.

Naina:(Sitting beside her and caresaing her hairs) Nanhi. Meri bacchi. Kya soch rahi hai? Dekh teri Mamma aa gayi na. Ab na tu jaldi se thik hoja. Phir ham ghar jayenge. Aur na khub masti karenge. (Looking at others) Haina?

Yug: Haan Shia. Dekh na meri taraf. Dekh main tera Bhai.

Nandu:(blankly wishpering still looking at the ceiling) Mamma

Naina: Haan haan beta.

Nandu: (tears flowing from her eyes but herface still blank) Mamma Dard.

Naina couldnt control her tears. Tears flowed down her eyes and Jeevika sidehugged her rubbing her back to calm her down.

Nandu: Mamma. Dard..

Naina stopped her and hugged her. This was it for Nandu. The warmth of her mothers arms made her break down. She burst into tears and wailing loudly

Nandu:(sobbing loudly) Mamma. Mujhe bahut dard hua. Wo... har jagahan..andhera. Wo mujhe baanndhke rakhte the aur bahut maarte the. A..au..aur phir...(she couldnt speak further. But Naina understood what she was telling)

Naina: Chup. Chup hoja mera baccha. Kuch nahi hogaab tujhe. Teri Mamma, tera parivaar, sab tere saath haina. Kuch nahin hoga.

All were crying. Their princess was hurt beyond repair this time. She had to suffer so much and they couldnt do anything to save her.

Investigation was made and three persons were held guilty. They were jailed for lifetime. But can just the punishment given to the criminals wash away the wounds of Nandu and her family?

After few days Naina died in acar accident. Reports said that she had taken high doses of anti depressants due to whichshe suffered heartattack while she was driving.

Flashback over

In Naina's room fab3 and Kumudh were numb. They could not believe that the girl who always showed them her strong side and made everyone laugh had such a terrible past. Hidden 5 had started shedding tears on remembering those horrible days.

Dhruv:( Gathering all her courage.) Phir kya hua?

Yug: Uske baad Nandu puri toit chuki thi. Wo ekdum sehmi hui si ho gayi thi. Apne kamre se nikalti nahin thi darr ke maare. NainaMaa ke maut ka sadma wo bardasht nahin kar paa rahi thi. Uski yeh halat hamse dekhi nahin gayi. Isiliye main aurVishal Bhaiya use apne saath London le gaye. 2 saal tak wo wahan hamare saath rahi aur apna +2 wahin se khatam kiya. Wahan Shia ko regular coucellings aur fighting trainings diye gaye to make her strong. AksharaMaa ne di use counselling.

Fab3 were shocked

Cabir: Bua?

Yug: Haan. Us din Nandu ne aur Mehras ne aap logon ko pura sach nahin bataya tha. Woh log sirf tab nahin mile the jab Shia unke hospital mein internship ke liye gayi thi. Balki wo Shia ko pehle se jaante the. AksharaMaa NainaMaa ki best friend thi. Jab unhe isbaare mein patachala to unhone Shai ka saath diya. Use strong banaya. Uske liye trainings arrange kiye. Unhike wajah se hi aaj meri behen itni strongban gayi hai ki 10 logon ko wo akele dhul chata sakti hai. Bas uss hadse ko wo aaj tak bhul nahin paayi. Aaj bhi wo apne room mein ek chhota bulb jalake soti hai. Thodi roshnee karke. Kyunki andhere se use dar hai. Andhera use jakadne lagta hai. Use wo haadaa yaad dilane lagta hai.

All were shocked to know so much about Nandu. How much that poor soul suffered from.
