First of all I am very angry on all of you. I mean seriously! No comment in my previous two updates! Aur views itne jyada hai par votes itne kam. Yaar had hoti hai. I put so much effort to think and write the chappy but then there is no appreciation for my hard work. It pains guys. Mai yeh story aaj update kar rahi hun inspite of your low response only because I love it. But that doesnt mean ki you will take it for granted. Yaar jab story padh sakte ho to ek star button click karne se kya jaata hai aapka? When I can take the pain to write this whole chappy for you, you cant even write one line for me as comment? I am really disheartened guys.

So everything was just perfect. The Malhotra' resort was decorated like a queen. After all it was the engagement of our very own Manan.

Stage(ignore the couple)

Guests were flowing in and were being welcomed by The Malhotras and Murthys. All were having a good time enjoying the environment when there was an announcement that it was time for welcoming the couple of the evening.
All heads turned to the entrance and here they come hand in hand with a content smile in their faces, walking with the attitudes they have aquired by birth.

(Attires are same as I posted earlier)

All were admiring the couple and especially were surprised to see how beautiful Nandini was. How elegantly she walked. Like a complete diva beside a Greek God. They both were complementing each other and the elders present there were silently blessing the made for each other couple.
Actually Nandini had kept herself away from media till now. Its not because of lack of confidence. She can surprise anyone with the amount of self confidence she had in herself. The reason is that being a typical science person she hated unneccessary attention. She attended meetings and conferences but never press ones. All the media affairs of Vaada were handled by Navya.
Now coming back to Manan they walked near the stage where their family was waiting for them. They greeted everyone and then proceeded to the stage followed by their parents.

Raj: Ladies and Gentlemen. I welcome all of you to the engagement ceremony of my son Manik with the beautiful daughter of Mr and Mrs Murthy, Nandini.

There were claps from all around.

Viren: Thank you all for your presence to bless the couple. Now lets start the ceremony.

The pandit ji performed the small ritual and then it was time for the rings to get exchanged. The rings were brought by Harsha and Shubham who were just looking too cute making everyone smile.

How do they look guys?

They walked cutely up the stage holding the rings. Shubham stood beside Nandu holding Manik's ring while Harsha stood beside Manik holding Nandu's. Manan were just smiling at how cute they are.

Manik was asked to put the ring in Nandini's finger. He took the ring from Harsha's basket and was about to make a move when Harsha tugged at his pant and asked him to bend down. Manik bent down to her level and she wishpered something in his ears which made him look surprisingly at her and then at their friends and siblings who were smiling extra sweetly at him. He sighed and neverthless turned and looked at Nandu. She raised her eyebrow asking what and the next moment gasped as Manik kneeled down in front of her making her shocked. While for Manik he raised his left hand asking for her hand and looking straight into her eyes spoke the words he was dying to ask her all by himself from the day one.

Manik: Will you marry me Ms Nandini Murthy?

To say Nandini was shocked would be an understatement as she was overwhelmed with Manik's gesture. She never had expected him to do this but when he did so her heart filled with happiness. A blush crept to her cheeks and she was smiling with teary eyes. She could not say anything. She was just staring at this Greek God who was now asking her to be his forever. Manik was also not ready to break the eyelock. He was lost in her eyes which showed so many emotions and unsaid feelings that he wanted to read.
But alas their eyelock was broken by Cabir.

Cabir: Are Veera jaldi jawab dedo warna kal newspaper mein chhapega 'The Manik Malhotra broke his knee while proposing his fiancee'.

All burst into laughter while Nandu blushed more. She then shocked everyone when she herself kneeled in front of Manik and kept her left hand on Manik's.

Nandu: Yes I will marry you. Only you.

Manik's smile widened and without wasting a moment he slid the ring into Nandu's finger. Everyone clapped and amid these claps Nandu took the other ring from Shubham and

Nandu: Shall eye?

Manik: Its all yours.

Nandu blushed and slid the ring onto Manik's finger. They both smiled contently looking at each other. Finally they have become officially each other's.

Everyone present there was smiling and silently praying for the couple to remain the way they are. But they didnt know what is gonna come there way. They have to cross many difficult terrains and go beyond anything and everything, experience all kinds of pains and heartbreaks to emerge as inspirations of love. There love has to blossom amidst all kinds of hatred. Its said, 'The toughest of soldiers are made from the harshest of trainings.' This has to become their life. Lets see how they perform all tests God puts in their way.

Manan got up amid all the claps and hoots and took blessings from their elders. Viren kissed Nandu's forehead and blessed her. All the guests came one by one to congratulate them. Finally after sometime Manan came down the stage and walked to their friends who were waiting eagerly to congratulate them. As soon as they got near them, fab 4 and Akshit pounced on Manik while Anant, Sanchi, Navya and Abhi pounced on Nandu. They broke the hug and then Yug came forward and side hugged Nandu and asked her,

Yug: You are happy na bachha?

Nandu: More than happy Bhai.

Kumudh also hugged her and congratulated her.

Cabir: Waise manna padega Veera. You are the first person jiske lie Manik apne ghutnon pe baith gaya. Yaar usne to ye aaj tak Mom ke liye bhi nahin kiya.

Nandu looked at Manik surprised while he was just rupping his nape nervously giving her a sheepish smile and a glare to Cabir. She gave him a sweet smile to which he smiled back.

Aliya: Haan yaar that was so sweet!

Mukti: Hmm. Good going Manik.

Nandu: Ok ok guys. Where are Vishal Bhaiya and Jeevi di?

Jeevika: Ham yahan hai. Wo kya hai na Harsha needed to use washroom. Usi ke saath gaye the. Waise congrats Chhoti!
She hugged her tightly followed by Vishal who also congratulated her and then hugged Manik.

Vishal: Manik bro ek baat yaad rakhna. Engagement to ho gayi. Par agar meri chhoti ke aankhon mein ek bhi aansu aye to....

Anant: To tere upar ka ticket kaat denge.

Abhi: Aur pata nahin heaven mein bhejenge ya hell mein.

Yug: So basically, keep her happy always or...

Navya: Tumhari happiness gayi.

Jeevika: Sahi hai.

Manik was shocked and also gulped seeing the 6 overprotective siblings. Fab 4 were controlling their laugh looking at Manik's face. Seeing this Nandu interrupted.

Nandu: Offo siblings chill. Shadi abhi tak hui nahin.

Manik: Huh?

Nandu: Mera matlab yeh sab shadi mein bolna. Abhi toh mein aapke saath hi hun na.

All nodded and Manik sighed with relief seeing which all chuckled.They chatted for sometime while Manik also introduced her to some of his clients and guests. They were then summoned to the dance floor. Manik forwarded his hand asking for hers which she gave smilingly and they walked up to the dance floor.

Manik placed his hand on her waist and she placed hers on his shoulder and both just moved to the tunes. They were just smiling looking at each other's eyes.

Dekha hazaron dafa aapko

Manik was just looking at her how beautiful she looked. Her eyes filled with emotions. Her pouty lips, chubby cheeks with that slight blush which he was reason for. Everything was beautiful about her. He just wanted to keep looking at her like this.

Dhoondhe se milte nahi hain hum
Bas aap hi aap baaki hain

Nandini was looking at him thinking how this man managed to change her in just few days. The girl who was never affected by anyones comments or compliments is now blushing all the while she is with him.

Pal bhar na doori sahein aap se
Betaabiyan yeh kuch aur hain
Hum door hoke bhi paas hain
Nazdeekiyan yeh kuch aur hain

Dekha hazaro dafaa aapko

They had now been joined by other couples. Dhrulya were dancing looking at each other lovingly while Cavya had joined their foreheads. Viren and Jeevika were having a conversation while swaying to the music, Yug and Kumudh were lost in each other while our Anant and Sanchi were laughing at some joke by Anant. But there was one couple who were cherishing their moment of unfound love. They didnt know but they were getting attracted to each other. They were none other than Mukbhi who were dancing with each other trying to find out the unknown feelings they were having.

Aagosh mein hai jo aapki
Aisa sukoon aur paaye kahan

Nandini was thinking why she got so much peace in his arms. Why she felt as if all her miseries and pains can be washed away by him and only him.

Aankhen humein ye raas aa gayi
Ab hum yahan se jaaye kahan

Manik was again lost in his eyes. He found those sea of emotions which he was trying hard to decipher. How he wished to just keep looking into her eyes like this forever.

Dekha hazaron dafa aapko

The song ended and partners were changed. Now Nandini went to Cabir while Manik got some random girl.

Cabir: So you accepted my brother?

Nandu: Hmm.

Cabir: Veera ek baat kahun?

Nandu: Haan Veer Bhai bolo na.

Cabir: Veera tere man mein kabhi bhi koi bhi baat ho na tu Manik ko batana. Main jaanta hun you dont like sharing your thoughts your pain anything. But he is your partner for life. And most important is that he doesnt like it when any of his loved ones hides something from him. He will be the best support if you share your problem with him. Samajh rahi hai na?

Nandu: Hmm. Samajh rahi hun. But I need time.

Cabir: I know.

Again the partners were changed. After a few changes Manik got Navya.

Navya: Kya baat hai. Meri behen ko patane ki koshish bade joron se chal rahi hai.

Manik: Ab kya karein. Aapki behen hai hi itni difficult.

Navya: Pata hai Manik, Nannu na bohot hi jyada introvert hai. Wo dikhti nahin hai but hai. You know wo bahut batein karti hai. Lekin apne baare wo kuch nahin batati. Uska dard, uski khushi, uski wishes, wo kuch bhi nahin batati. Bahut difficult hai wo i know. Par she loves to be understood. Uske baare mein jaanne ke lie use samajhna jaroori hai. Uski ankahi baaton ko sunna jaaroori hai. Samajh rahe ho na?

Manik: Hmm.

Then again they all danced for sometime and then went to have some soft drinks. All separated with their partners to meet the guests. Manik was introducing her to some of his clients when Raj called them from behind.

Raj: Beta Nandini, meet him he is Mr. Vivek, SN Industries ke owner, hamare kafi achhe aquiantance hai.

Nandu who was standing beside Manik turned and froze at her place seeing the man.

Just then a girl about the same age that of Nandu came and side hugged the man.

Raj: Ah! And meet her. His daughter Soha.

Soha: Hi Nandini. Well congratulations.

Nandu was frozen at her place. She was unable to speak anything. She was just looking at the man.

Vivek: Congratulations Ms Murthy. Well nice to meet you.

He forwarded his hand to Nandu who was just staring at the man and then at his hand. She clutched Manik's hand tightly. Manik looked at her and got worried to find her pale and nervous.

Raj: Kya hua Nandini beta? Any problem?

This brought her out of her trance and she looked at Raj and then at the man. She gathered herself and with a fake smile took his hand and shook it.

Nandu: Thank you. And nice to meet you too Sir.

Raj: Are Vivek, tum meri badi bahu se nahin nile ho na? Chalo milwata hun.

They left to meet Navya leaving behind a pale Nandu and worried Manik.

Manik: Nandu you ok?

Nandu: Huh.. ha.. haan ma....main .....thi....thik hun. M...ma...main washroom jaake ati hun.

And without waiting for a reply ahe ruahed away which made Manik scared.

Manik: Isse kya hogaya? Abhi tak to thik thi. Achanak kya ho gaya? Uske pichhe jaun? No no she wont be comfortable with me. Navya ko bolta hun.

Thinking this he left to search for Navya.

Here Nandu entered the washroom to find it empty which somewhat relieved her. She clutched the basin tightly. Tears were continuously flowing from her eyes.

Nandu: No no no no I.. I cant lose it now. NO NO Nandu. Stop panicking. Calm down calm down...

She was trying to calm down herself when someone else entered the washroom. She turned to see Soha standing with a smirk.

Soha: Kya baat hai Nandu? Long time no see. Akhir tumne apne liye thodi khushi dundh hi li.

Manik was searching for Navya when he found her standing with Cabir. He went to her.

Manik: Navya. Wo Nandu.

Navya: Nandu? Kya hua use. Wo hai kahan? Tumhare saath kyun nahin hai?

Manik: Wo pata nahin wo Dad hame apne kisi client se milwa rahe the when suddenly she became restless and pale. Phir wo achanak se washroom chali gayi.

Navya: God tumne use jaanekyun diya? He Matarani!

Cabir: Hey Navu! Relax Baby! Tum itni hyper kyun ho rahi ho?

Navya(in mind): Ab tumhe kya bataun? Dad ne abhi abhi hame unse milwaya. Agar unhone Nannu ko unse mlwaya hoga to? No no she will lose herself. No no yeh nahinho sakta.

Cabir shook her to bring her out of her trance.

Cabir: Kya hua? You fine?

Navya: Ha..haan. Ma..Main Nannu ko dekhti hun.

And she rushed from there.

Cabir: Hua kya isse achanak?

Manik: Pata nahin in donon behnon ko aaj kya ho gaya hai?

Cabir: Mujhe lagta hai yeh dono hamse kuch chhupa rahi hai.

Manik: Par kya? Nandu se puchhunga to wo to kuch batati nahin aur ignore kar deti hai.

Cabir: Nahin Manik. Veera se kuch mat puch. Main Navya se baat karne ki koshish karta hun.

Manik: Hmm. Ok.

Nandu: Soha jao yahan se. Mujhe kisise koi baat nahin karni.

Soha: Are jaati hun jaati hun. Par yaad rakhna tumhari har khushi pe sirf mera hak hai. Aaj tak tunhari har khushi chhini hai tumse. Aaj bhi chhin lungi.

She went near her ears and wishpered.

Soha: Manik sirf mera hai. Sirf mera.

Nandu froze at these words. Her breath became uneven. Soha leftfrom there. While leaving she walked past Navya who had just come there to checkon Nandu. Navya seeing her got more tensed and rushed in. Seeing Nandu in this state she panicked.

Navya: Nannu kya hua tujhe? Aur ye Soha yah yahan kya kar rahi thi?

Nandu was standing their speechless. Tears were flowing from her eyes. She was not able breath properly.

Navya(panicking): Nannu! Kya hua! Breath Nannu! Breath. Bata mujhe. Apni Navu ko bata. Apni Di ko bata.

Nandu: Wo wapas aa gaye hain Di. Wo sab phirse barbad kardenge. Mujhse phir sabkuch chhin lenge. Manik ko mujhse chhin lenge.

Saying this she fell on the ground sobbing while Navya was rooted to her place.

So I am ending it here.
