Malhotra Mansion

All were busy prepararing for Roka. Yes it is the Roka ceremony of our very own Manan. Neyonika was running here and there giving instructions to the servants to pack everything they need to take and keep them in the car. Navya and Mukti were busy in the kitchen packing all the sweets and other things that are to be taken for shagun.

Neyo: Are are jaldi karo. Its already 10. Sadhe gyara baje puja hai(11:30). Hame Murthy mansion pahunchna hai. Shankar ye box gadi mein rakho jaldi. Are ye ladke kahan gaye?

Raj:(coming down full ready) Are Dhruv bahar servants aur drivers ko instructions de raha hai aur Cabir Maa ko lane gaya hai airport. Aur haan Mehras ko lane maine driver bhej di hai.

Neyo: Aur Manik? Wo ready hua ki nahin?

Raj: Are uski chinta tum mat karo. Aliya gai hai upar uske room mein use check karne.

Neyo: Ok. Aap chaliye mere saath.

In Manik's room

Manik was standing in front of the mirror looking at himself lost in deep thought when Aliya entered. Seeing him lost she went to him and tapped his shoulders from back.

Aliya: Kya hua Manik? Kya soch raha hai?

Manik: Kuch nahin Alu bas aise hi.

Aliya: Tujhe achhe se pata hai tu mujhse kuch nahin chhupa sakta. To come on say it already.

Manik sighed. Its right. He can never hide anything from any member of fab 5. Although no one else other than Cabir can read him like an open book but they can surely feel it when there's something wrong with him and he's tensed. And then they stand by him always. Well thats what real friends are right guys? 'His four pillars' thats what Raj called them and he being their 'Protector'. He knew very well that he is the only one who can ever break fab 5 completely because if anyone else even fab4 tries to do it he is there to reassemble them and make them fab 5 again. He looked at Aliya who was now looking at him keenly trying to understand what is bothering him so much.

Manik: Aliya, I am scared.

Aliya: Kyun?

Manik: Main ye saari responsibility sambhal paunga na? I mean Alu main.... mujhse koi galti ho gayi to? You know Aliya, she is already very hurt from within aur she is scared to trust someone. Aise mein agar use aur hurt kardoon to? Main use aur pain mein nahin dekh paunga.

Aliya: (smiling) Itna jyada sochta hai uske baare mein aur kehta hai ki use hurt kar dega? Manik main ye to nahin jaanti ki tu kis dard ke baare mein baat kar raha hai par jo bhi haina tujhe use uss dard ko bhulane mein madad karna hoga. Uska saath nibhana hoga. Har kadam par. Aur tu kya itna darr raha hai? Yaad nahin ham sab kitne dard mein the jab tu hame mila tha? Dhruv ki Mom ke jaaneke baad he became a lifeless soul. Uske life mein jaan tu laya. Mom Dad ke jaane ke baad main ek besahara ban gayi thi. Mere apnon ne mujhse meri saari property mera ghar sabkuch chhin liya aur 12 saal ki uss choti umar mein mujhe raaste pe akela chhod diya. Wahan se tu mujhe apne saath laya aur ek Mom ek Dad mujhe diya. Aur Mukti? Bhul gaya tu kaise toot gayi thi wo uss din jab Harshad ne uske saath wo... tune use sambhala Manik. Ham sab ko tune andhere se bahar nikala hai Manik. Aur mujhe pura bharosa hai. Nandu ko uske andhere se bhi tu hi nikalega.

Listening to all this Manik became emotional and just hugged her to hide his tears and secretly wiped them.

Manik: (still in the hug) Yes Alu. Main use nikalunga iss andhere se. Main use har khushi se bhar dunga.

Aliya:(breaking the hug and perfecting his collars) Ye hui na mere Manik wali baat. Chal ab jaldi se niche aja. NeyoMaa subhe se hyper ho rahi hai. Tu jaldi niche nahin gaya na to aaj teri band baja degi wo.

Manik chuckled and nodded and Aliya after checking him for the last time left from there. She went to the kitchen and saw everyone busy.

Neyo: Alu, Manu ready hua na.

Aliya: Haan Maa wo ready ho gaya. Bas niche ata hi hoga.

Neyo: Thik hai. Navya tu mere saath chal. Shagun ki chunar aur zewar gadi mein rakhwane hai.

Just then they heard a voice from the main hall.

Voice: Are kahan hai mera pota? Chiku? Kaha hai aja apni dadi ke paas.

They all went to the hall to see Manik running and hugging the old lady.

Manik: Dadi! I missed you.

Sharda Malhotra: Manik and Cabir's Dadi. A sweet lady. Loves fab 5 a lot and offcourse she is their favourite DJ. Lives in Malhotras haveli in Amritsar. Best friend of Shaila. She calls Manik as Chiku and Cabir as Tiku.😂

Sharda: Are mera sona munda. Kitna sona lag raha hai aaj. Nazar na lage kisiki. (Looking at Navya) Haye meri bachhi. Shadi ke baad aaj pehli baar dekh rahi hoon tujhe. Kaisi hai? Ye gadha tujhe jyada pareshan to nahin karta na?

Navya:(taking her blessings) Main bilkul thik hun Dadi.

Raj and Neyo also took her blessings. Then she looked at fab 5.

Sharda: Oye gale nahin miloge nalyakon?

And that was it fab 5 hugged her tightly shouting "DJ!".

Just then came a voice from the main door.

Voice: Haan haan Nani aap to sirf inhe hi pyar karte ho. Mujhe to bilkul bhi pyar nahin karte.

Fab 5 broke the hug and turned to see a boy standing there with an angry pout and a man and a lady standing behind him smiling.

Fab5: Aku!

Then ran to him and hugged him.

Akshit : I missed you all so much.

Fab 5: We missed you too Baby.

Akshit: (with a bad face) Offo guys I am 24. Ab to mujhe baby mat bulao.

All laughed at his words. Then they hugged the man and the lady.

Fab5: We missed you Beautiful. We missed you Superman.

They all greeted each other and went to get ready.

All were running here and there doing last minute checks. Anjali was getting really tensed and Kumudh and Sanchi were trying to calm her. Nandu was in her room getting ready.

Nandu pov
Aiyappa. So much is happening. I met him just two weeks ago and now I am gonna get engaged to him. Kya baat haina, kuch din pehle I was not ready to break my walls in front of anyone and now I am sitting here ready to give a chance to a complete stranger to break them for me. Manik.... kya kar rahe ho tum mere saath? Kyun iss intezaar mein baithihun ki kab tum mera trust jeetoge? Kyun mera dil baar baar kehta hai ki main tumhe apne baare mein sabkuch batadun? Aiyappa please give me strength. Phirse koi heartbreak nahin seh paungi. Phirse agar kisine mera trust toda to main mar jaungi. Please mera saath dena Aiyappa. Manik pe jo biswas maine rakha hai use tootne mat dena.

Her trail of thoughts were broken by Kumudh and Sanchi who came there to check on her.

Sanchi: Haye! Kitni pyari lag rahi hai hamari Nandu!

Kumudh: Haan. Nazar na lage kisiki tujhe.

They made her wear some jwellery. They were about to make her wear her payal when Yug, Anant and Abhi came there. Seeing them Kumudh and Sanchi just gave the siblings some privacy and went from there.

Abhi: Chudail tu to badi sundar lag rahi hai.

Anant: Haan bhai. Aaj pata chala ki bhutni bhi kabhi achhi dikh sakti hai.

Nandu: (annoyed) Dekho na Bhai ye log kaise mujhe chidha rahe hain.

Yug: Chup raho tum donon. Aur Shia tu unlogon ki baaton mein mat aa. Tu to bahut hi pretty lag rahi hai. Ekdum meri princess.

He made her wear her payal. And Anant and Abhi were making her wear her bangles when Nandu spoke.

Nandu: Bhai? Wo log aaj bhi nahin ayenge?

Listening to her this question they stopped their actions and looked down.

Yug: Shia wo..

Nandu: Wo log mere saath aisa kyun kar rahe hain? Kisi aur ki galti ki saja mujhe kyun de rahe hain?

She was on the verge of crying.

Anant: Kiddo baby tujhe pata haina wo log tujhse kitna jyada pyar karte hain. Tu to unki jaan hai.

Nandu: (sobbing) To phir wo mujhse milne yahan kyun nahin aate? Aaj mera Roka hai. Aur wo nahin aaye. Aise mujhse durr rehke mujhe dard kyun de rahe hain?

Seeing her crying all three hugged her.

Abhi: Chup babydoll bilkul chup. Rona nahin.

Yug: Tujhe pata haina Shia ki wo log kyun nahin aa rahe hain. Phir bhi tu ro rahi hai. Tujhe pata haina wo hamari family se nafrat karte hain. Par tujhse bahut pyar karte hain. Dekhna wo yahan aayenge nahin par tujhe apne blessings zaroor bhejenge.

Voice: Bhejenge nahin bhej diya hai.

She turned back to see Avantika standing at the door holding a box. She came forward to Nandu and opened the box and handed over the letter. Reading the letter Nandu had a sad but content smile on her face. She looked at Avantika with happy tears.

Avantika: Unhone tere liye ye Maang tika bheja hai taki tere iss shubh din par tere maathe per unka aashirbaad rahe. (Guys the same maang tika I showed in the outfits chapter)

She made her wear it and put kohl from her eyes behind her ears.

Avantika: Kitni pyaari lag rahi hai meri bachi.

Anant: (wiping her tears) Chal ab rona band kar warna tera makeup kharab hojayega aur Sanchi mera sar kha jayegi.

All chuckled at this. Just then servant came to inform them that the Malhotras were here. Leaving Nandu all went downstairs to greet the Malhotras while Nandu's heart just started beating fast.
