Murthy Mansion

There was a lot of rush in Murthy mansion. All were busy looking after the preparations. After all its a big day for their princess. Ladkewale milne a rahe hain yaar. Lets see whats happenning.

"Kumudh! Everything is ready na? They'll be here any moment! God!", said a lady, running here and there, frantically looking at the arrangements, making her daughter-in laws shake their heads in disbelieve.

"Uff Maa....stop worrying. Everything's ready. We have checked into every single detail. And also its just 9. They'll be here at 11. Just relax.", said her elder daughter-in law Kumudh, as she made her mother-in law sit on the living room sofa and gestured the younger one to get some water.

Sanchi, the younger daughter-in law of the house,  forwarded a glass to Anjali, " Yes Maa. You have two two daughter-in laws. Just leave it on us and sit here for some time. Here... have some water and stop getting so worked up. Samjha karo na. Aapki umar hogayi hai ab.", she said earning a glare from Anjali which she shrugged off while Kumudh and Anant giggled.

"Sab kuch to thik hai par ye maharani kahan hai. (Everything's fine but where's this girl? ) ", Anjali asked as she relaxed a bit and Anant looked up towards the stairs to see his elder brother coming down. "She's sleeping Maa. Came back late last night. She's tired.", said Yug as he joined them with Shubham in his arms.

"He Bhagwaan ! Go wake her up. Its such an important day today. She needs to get ready! God! Ye ladki!", and the Anjali Murthy was back into her hysterics making others facepalm themselves.

"Mai abhi use jagata hun. (I'll go wake her up now.)", said Anant, all ready to go and have some fun with his dear sister, but was cut off by Yug who very well knew his intentions. "Tu baith. Subha subha use irritate karega. I'll go see her. ( Oh you sit sown. You'll just irritate her. I'll go see her.)", he said making Anant pout as Saanchi slapped the back of his head.

Yug goes to his sister's room only to smile at the sight. Nandini had cuddled herself into her pillows, hugging one close to her chest as she tried to hide her face in the blanket to avoid the sun rays...but let out irritated groans on not being able to. Yug shook his head in disbelief as he walked up to her and caressed her head sitting beside her. Sensing her Bhai's touch, she immediately shifted her head on his lap and snuggled to him mumbling " Bhai this sun is so bad!" making Yug chuckle at her cuteness.

"Morning princess. Wake up.", he said caressing her forehead while she nodded in no hiding herself more in his embrace, making him sigh. He kissed her forehead wishpering in her ears, " Aaj ladke wale aa rhe hai Shia. You need to get ready. Its already 9: 15. " And that was it for Nandini. She got up with a jerk shouting " Shit! I forgot!", and then turned to find Yug sitting with an expression of disbelief making her smile sheepishly.

" Good morning Bhai!", she said as she kissed his cheeks and sat up hugging him. They sat in silence for some time before Yug asked her, " What happend Shia? Something worrying you?"

Nandini sighed knowing she can't hide her thoughts from her Bhai. " I don't know Bhai. Its just... Ugh! I don't know if I'm ready for this. I mean....." , she palmed her face in frustration at not being able to express her thoughts in words. Yug tightened his hold on her as he made her look up at him. " Ready for what Shia? Tell me whats in your mind."

" This marriage and all Bhai. I don't know if I'm ready for this. I mean yes I know this is the proper age for Shaadi and all of you have done it and are actually very happy. I really admire your relationship with Bhabi or Bhaiyu's and Saanchi Bhabi's relationship or say Cavya. I do admire and want such happiness for myself too.", she said and Yug nodded smilimg. He can see the longing in her eyes for someone to love. But he knew his sister well. She had a twisted mind. So he asked her, " Then what's the problem Shia. You want it... you gonna have it. No one is stopping you."

" Thats not the point Bhai. The point is.....umm....okay....see I don't know if I'm ready to trust someone yet. I mean ... from what I have learnt, for any relationship to work, you need to have trust. But... I just... I don't know. And on top of that, this thing always keeps striking in the back of head that what if he doesn't want to even be near me after knowing about my past? I mean with what happened.... do you think I deserve this....or does the guy deserve someone so out of order like me?", she said whatever was in her mind while Yug listened with full attention, his heart breaking at his sister's deep rooted insecurities. Will there be someone who would be able to make her see past it? He really wanted this guy to be the one.

" Ok just answer me here. Do you think whatever happened was anywhere your fault? (She shook her head in no.) Good. So thats it. There's no reason here why you can't be with someone and deserve happiness. Just get past it Shia and look at the better side of yourself. You totally deserve every happiness in this world. Really. ", he said, making her nod her head, still thinking to which Yug sighed and hugged her closer. " And about that trust thing? Well I would just say one thing. You don't have to marry the guy today only. Just take your time, meet the guy, try to read him. If you think you can trust him, then only will we move forward with it. Otherwise we aren't gonna force you into anything Princess. Its completely your decision. Okay?", he added and that brought up a big smile on her face, which immediately reflected on her brother's.

"Now come on get ready. Warna Maa pure ghar ko sar pe utha legi.", he said kissing her cheeks while she chuckled and nodded. Yug left from there while Nandini sat there thinking about his words, until her mother's shout broke her trance and she rushed to the bathroom scared of an Angry Anjali Murthy.

Malhotra Mansion.

Neyonika was checking on all the gifts they will be taking. They were going to see a girl for her ladla.

"Yeh bhi usme pack kardo.", she instructed the butler before turning to her daughter-inlaw. " Navya are the two boys up yet?"

" Cabir's up and freshening up. But I haven't checked on Manik yet. May be he's not up yet.", Navya informed making Neyo fume at her son. This guy!

She goes to his room only to see him sitting on the bed lost in thoughts, making her sigh. " Okay may I know which nuclear code are you trying to crack in a busy morning like this?", she said moving to his wardrobe to get his outfit for today, while Manik made a face at his mother's sarcasm. She can really be too sassy when angry.

He walked into the wardrobe and hugged her from behind and kissed her cheeks. " Good morning Mom.", he said making her smile. " Good morning beta. But it'll turn into a really very bad morning for you if you don't get ready soon.", she said making Manik scoff. " Mom! Please! I'm in a dilemma here and you're not helping.", he said making Neyonika sigh and turn to him. " Okay. What happened? Why are you behaving like a sucker?", she asked making him facepalm himself at her choice of words.

" Okay see Mom, I don't think I'm ready for this. Marriage is a big responsibilty. How can I marry someone without knowing her? I haven't even seen her face once....", he was cut off by his mother whose eyes widened at the last sentence. " What do you mean you haven't seen her? I gave you her photo like what..two days ago? What were you doing? Its lying on your dresser untouched idiot.", she yelled making him take a step back in fear as he scooted upto the dresser and picked up the envelope with a sheepish smile seeing his hitler mother. Neyonika just passed a glare before throwing his towel at him gesturing him to go into the bathroom before turning to leave.

" And about marrying someone you don't know, you're just gonna meet her today and not exchange rings you dumb head. ", she said closing the door behind her as Manik made a poker face before looking at the envelope in his hand.

Shrugging, he just opened it to find two pictures in it. He pulled them out and his world stopped. It was as if he was looking into his dreams.

"She is so beautiful. Her eyes.. they speak so much. Wait wait wait... ye kya ho raha hai tujhe Manik? What the hell are you thinking? Just by looking at her photo you're behaving like this? What will happen when you"ll meet her in person. Uff! Wait a minute...what's her name? God! How can you be so stupid Manik? Atleast you could have asked for the name. Now what? Should I go and ask Mom? Nah! That twin of mine would be there and'll tease the hell out of me. Not a good idea. I better get ready before Mom storms in to give me a shower of curses. See you soon Ms Anamika. ", he says at last looking at the picture before putting it back in the envelope and walking into the bathroom to get ready for the day.
