Ethan POV
I watched the camp quietly, wondering how that Athenian spawn had managed to gain their trust so quickly.

"She's giving away our secrets." Lu-Kronos said quietly. I flinched, having forgotten he lay next to me in the taller grass and bushes at the edge of the forest.

"Commander, when do we attack?" I asked.

"Tomorrow at dawn. They're obviously not planning on turning her in."

Almost as soon as he said it, we heard shouting.

"Maybe they will." Kronos commented as a crowd of demigods dragged a blonde with a blue and a red streak towards the border.

"ANNABETH!" The girl, who could only be Leanne, screamed.

"Don't talk to me, traitor! Why would you fight on that scum's side anyway?!" The other Athenian spawn shouted back.

"PLEASE, I WANT TO HELP! DON'T DO THIS!" Leanne continued to screech as they tossed her over the border. As the group walked away, one of the people I hate most in the world, Percy Jackson, walked up to her.

"I'd have given you a second chance, but obviously I was overruled. Be safe Leanne." He walked off.

Leanne broke down crying.
"Retrieve her, Ethan." Kronos said.

Leanne POV
I could tell our plan had gone perfectly. I lay still on the ground, faking sobs.

Soft footsteps padded up behind me.

"Hello, deserter."

Ethan. Perfect.

I let him haul me to my feet.

"C'mon, Lord Kronos wants to have some words with you." That caught me momentarily off guard. So that's why Luke had started acting strange.

"No."

"You don't have a choice, Walsh." The son of Nemesis snapped. I smirked.

"Actually, I do." He was suddenly attacked from an invisible force from behind him.

Once he was on the ground, I tied his hands and dragged him to his feet.

"Nice work, Annabeth." She removed the Yankees Cap from our mom.

"Thanks, Leanne. Now let's get this dirt inside where we can talk to him."
