I care because I know that life can be hard.

I care because we all stumble from time to time.

I care because your hurt is valid.

I care because it's what we all crave.

I care because there are enough people that don't.

I care because you are worth it.

I care because you deserve it.

I care because I love.

I care about my parents' marriage – enough that I pray for them every day.

I care about my sister – enough that I try to show her my love everytime we speak.

I care about my friend Frankie – enough that I'm interested in her as a person and that I send her a text or letter every once in a while to know how she's feeling and how she's getting along with life.

I care about Ally – enough that I want to be there for her and listen to her when she's got something to say. To keep in touch and to strengthen our friendship even more.

I care about orphaned children – enough that I played with the idea of opening up an orphanage (or at least work at one).

I care about people – enough that I want to engage with them and let them know that I do care.

I care because it's the one thing I can give for free. It's the one thing that every single person deserves. It's the one thing where I don't have to run to the ATM to get it. We care because we love.
Let us love more. Let us care more.
