Stephen asked me if we could go under the tree we used to go when we were little. The tree was by the river so the bugs that glow in the dark would always be there.

*flashback*
*you are 12*
I see Stephen waiting me under the tree. He patted the spot so I can sit besides him.

I looked at him annoyed but as a joke:"You know my parents are going to kill me if they found out I ran out of home" He smiled:"Oh come on, loosen up a lil"

We both smiled. I asked him:"So what did you want to show me" He smirked and opened his hands:"This"

All of a sudden bunch of bugs came flying towards me. They were the ones that glow in the dark.

I look at him confused while smiling:"Why " He smiled too:"Because you look smiled I pouted:"Yeah Yeah"

Then there was a flower which he pointed towards. I asked:"What now" He said that I put it under my chin and it will glow:"So..... Is it glowing " He smiled:"Sure is" We both burst out laughing.

*flahback over*
We sat under the tree. I looked over to Stephen:"So? " We sat there silent for a minute or two.

He looks at the river and asks me:"Why must you leave? " I smiled:"Stephen I told you already. My parents want me to be in the top. I can't disobey them"

He sighed:"That's not what I meant. " I stared at him confused while he was looking the river:"Why can't YOU just say no............. "

I didn't want to say anything. He still was looking at the river:"I know that you are putting a mask in front of your parents. " I sigh:"If you want to know then"

*flashback*
You are 14))

I just got back from the dance. Stephen and I went in the school dance together. It was just some funky music.

I enter my house and I saw my mother and father just glaring at me. My mother just smirks and goes over to her room while I was left with my father.

He glares at me:"Why weren't you studying " I smiled all scared:"Stephen and I went on a school dance" He glared at me:"That still does not excuse you" He grabs me by the neck and pins me to the wall so I can't breathe:"YOU HAVE TO BE THE BEST OF THE BEST. YOU CAN'T JUST GOOF AROUND"

He throws me on the ground and punches me in the head while I try to breath:"This is the reason while you have to be at the top. Your  weak. Now go to your room."

As I enter my room my mom locks me in the room and says:"No dinner for you. If you try to break threw the window there will be no meals the next day. And you will lose some of your body"

I go on my bed and just start to cry for about 10 seconds when I thought if I am good enough then  I could hang out with people more

*flashback over*

I sigh:"The en-" Stephen hugs me. I looked over at him:"What's up? "He was crying:" I'm so sorry I cause you that much trouble "

I smiled:"Don't worry . I'm fine. " He looked over at me:"No your not. You deserve love. You deserve happiness. You-"

Stephen huggs me and as he huggs me we both fall on the grass. He gets a lil up and now he pinned me down.

He blushed mad red. I started to cry. He asked me worried:"I'm so so sorry. Are you ok" I smiled while crying:"You always put a smile on my face"

Stephen stood there and then gently smiled.

*no ones pov*
Stephen leans over to y/n and kisses her. As they were kissing the turn so that Stephen was on top. (They roles around?)

As they stopped y/n opened her eyes:"That was...... Nice"Stephen blushed madly as he puts a hand on his mouth:"Wanna stay like this for a little longer" Y/n smiled:"Sure"

Y/n leans on Stephen and they hugged for a while.

They then sat in front of the tree again as they were hugging.

Y/n leans on Stephen's shoulder and she closes her eyes.

Stephen smiled and thought.

You are still the light in my darkness.
