NEXT MORNING:

I groan when I heard my phone alarm started to go off. I pressed the home screen button to mute my alarm. I sit up with my eyes still closed because I was really sleepy. I grabbed my phone and looked at time with my one eye still closed.

Y/N: 5:30 a.m... Why did I set my alarm this early?

I started to talk to myself with a sleepy-raspy voice. Then suddenly I remember that I am living in Mr. Kim's house and this house is far from my school. That's why I put an alarm early so I can catch the bus on time.

I groan again.

I am not used to waking up this early because my old home was near to my school, so I left the house half an hour early but here I have to leave one and a half hours early. I started to walk toward my bathroom to get ready. I finished my business and started to brush my teeth while thinking about how to defend myself against BTS.

??: Don't worry! I have a plan!

I quickly looked in the mirror. I saw a reflection of the girl who looked exactly like me, but she looked more confident and bada$$.

I startled,

Y/N: Who are you?!

??: Relax girl, I am your conscience.

Y/N: What?!

I saw my reflection rolling its eyes.

??: I am you. I am your imagination... I am a brave reflection of yours.

I laughed at myself, I am sure going crazy...

Brave-reflection: Stop laughing like a crazy person and listen to my plan.

I glared at my reflection.

Brave-reflection: Ok, so here is the plan. Since you can't fight with your that type of body...

She looked at me—up and down—with a judgmental look.

Y/N: YAH! I love my body and don't forget you are me so stop looking at me like that!

Brave-reflection: We have to fight them with the mind and cleverness.

Y/N: How?

Brave-reflection: First, we need an ally and for that, we have to create a bond with one of the brothers.

??: How?

My reflection and I looked at the small mirrored-medicine cabinet that was placed beside the sink.

Y/N: Now, who are you?

??: I am your cautious self-reflection.

Brave-reflection: So basically, you are a scaredy-cat.

Cautious-reflection just glared at my other reflections.

Brave-reflection ignore her and continued,

Brave-reflection: So first, we have to find which brother is sane and doesn't hate us.

Y/N: Jin?!

Cautious-reflection: No! He told us to stay away from all brothers so that includes him too.

Y/N: Right... Jungkook?

Brave-reflection: Maybe...

Cautious-reflection: Hell no! Didn't you guys saw how he was punching that guy at school... He, V, Jimin, J-hope and Suga are danger zone so stay away from them!

Y/N: So that leaves us with RM.

Brave-reflection: Okay so find out what he likes and then we can carry our plan forward.

Y/N: How do I do that?

My reflection shrugged and disappear.

Time skip:

I quickly got ready and started walking downstairs with my bag. When I reached downstairs, I heard BTS's voices coming from the dining area.

Oh god, please don't let them see me.

I entered the living room and saw them sitting at a dining table, having breakfast. So, I quickly started tiptoeing toward the door.

??: Where are you going?

I heard Jin's voice. I slowly look back to see if he was asking me or someone else. But I saw that everyone was now looking at me.

FML!

I smiled at them nervously.

Y/N: Going school...

Jungkook: This early!

Y/N: No...? I'm on time.

I don't know why but whenever I speak to them my voice volume turns low.

Jungkook: We still have 80 mins before school starts.

Jungkook said as he checked the time in his wrist-watch.

Y/N: Yeah but the bus takes 60 mins to reach school.

Jin and Jungkook: You are not going in a bus.

They both stated at the same time.

Jungkook: You will ride with me in my car.

Y/N: Oh no, I'm good.

I said it quickly because there is no way I was going to ride with him, who knows he might just bring me to some quiet place and kill me or something.

Jungkook: I wasn't asking.

He left no room for argument.

This is a good chance to get to know him! I heard my brave-conscience saying in my mind.

No... It's not safe! I heard my cautious-conscience whining.

RM: Y/N come and eat with us.

I slowly started to take my steps toward the dining table.

V: No. She is not eating with us.

I stopped walking and for some reason, I was feeling relieved hearing that because I was feeling anxious to sit with them.

Jin: She will eat with us. Come Y/N.

I again started to feel anxiety creeping up on me as I started to walk toward them. There were three empty chairs at the end of the table, so I sat in the middle chair to stay away from BTS. As I sat on a chair, V and Jimin stood up angrily and walked out of the room. Then Jungkook stood up and he walked toward me and sat beside me. I saw J-hope doing the same thing and sat on my other side.

A maid came and placed a dish in front of me and started to fill it with pancakes.

Why are they being nice? Did they add poison in my pancakes?

I looked at pancakes for a few seconds with suspicion. I heard J-hope chuckling lightly.

J-hope: Y/N, there is no poison in it.

I looked at him with surprise.

Did he just hear my thought?!

J-hope took bite out of my pancake to prove his point. I looked at his face for a few seconds to see any poisonous reaction but he just smiled at me so I started to eat my pancakes slowly.

Jungkook: Y/N, did you finish math homework?

Y/N: Oh sh*t! I forgot!

Jungkook: F*ck! You also didn't finish?! Now I have to find someone else to copy from.

Jin: When do you have your math class?

Jungkook: After lunch.

Jin: RM can help you with math at lunchtime.

Jungkook: Thanks, hyung!

RM: Wait, no! I can't help you today. I also have my assignment to finish.

Jungkook: Please hyung, that teacher gave me a warning that if I missed any more of her homework then she will call dad.

This is the first time I felt like BTS are also normal people like everyone else.

This is my chance to bond with Jungkook. I thought this is a good opportunity since math is my favourite subject so I can easily help him.

Y/N: I can help you with that.

Jungkook looked at me with a questioning look.

Jungkook: But you said you haven't finished yours.

Y/N: Bro, you are sitting beside math genius.

I said it proudly, forgetting that I am sitting with BTS.

Jungkook: Hm...?

I saw members were looking at me weirdly,

Y/N: I-I will help you at lunchtime.

I looked down and started eating my pancakes, avoiding their stares.

Jungkook: Okay Lil sis!

J-hope: Y/N, do you like dancing?

I nodded.

J-hope: Do you know we have a dance-room in our house?

Y/N: Really?!

J-hope: Yeah! I'll show you when we get home from school!

He said in excitement.

Why is he being this nice?! What is going on?

J-hope: I am being nice because I want to get to know you better, Y/N. I think you have an interesting personality.

Y/N: Are you reading my mind?!

I asked in a panic. Everyone on the table started to laugh.

Jungkook: Y/N, your face is easy to read, it's like an open book.

He chuckles.

Y/N: Oh, um okay.

Time skip:

I was sitting quietly beside Jungkook in his car for a while, thinking about why they are not being mean.

Jungkook: Why didn't you call for my help yesterday?

Y/N: Huh?

Jungkook: You called for Jin hyung, and not me?

I looked at him like are-you-crazy-or-something.

Jungkook: What! You met me first not him, so you should have yelled my name instead of his.

Y/N: But you were there... and you were laughing at me with V.

Jungkook: Yeah because you were screaming and hitting Jimin like a crazy person and It was funny to see Jimin being helpless in front of you.

Y/N: What do you mean by 'helpless'? He almost made me sleep in that scary room.

Jungkook laughs.

Jungkook: Well it's not that bad. He could have killed you but he didn't because you are our sister now.

I looked at him to see if he was joking or not, but his face was straight. I choose to ignore that remark and didn't ask more about Jimin.

Y/N: Okay but you didn't help me when I was screaming. You were just standing there and enjoying the whole thing.

Jungkook: Because I was waiting for you to ask me for help, but you never did!

All of a sudden, he was getting mad.

Is he on his period?

Y/N: So, you are saying that if I had called for your help, you would have helped me?

Jungkook: OF COURSE!

He yelled at me. It made me flinched.

Don't be scared and pulled out your 'Oppa' card! My brave inner conscience yelled at me quickly.

Y/N: O-Okay Oppa relax, y-you are scaring me.

He looked at me for a sec before looking back at the road again.

Jungkook: Sorry...

He said it in a barely audible voice.

Did he just say sorry! What in the actual f*ck!

Y/N: What's going on? Why are you being nice to me today?

Jungkook: What do you mean, I am the same as before.

Y/N: You are not being mean...

Jungkook: When have I been mean to you?

Y/N: At school...?

Jungkook: It's called being angry, not mean. And I got angry at you because you didn't listen to me.

Y/N: So, you don't hate me like your brothers?

Jungkook looked at me like I am saying some nonsense.

Jungkook: What are you talking about? I have never hated you neither do my brothers, well except V and Jimin.

Y/N: Then why you guys wanted my mom to cancel the wedding?

Jungkook sigh.

Jungkook: We had our reasons.

I guess I can understand. It must be hard for them to accept some strangers as mother and sister.

Y/N: Ohkay...By the way, why do you want me to call you 'Oppa'? We are the same age.

Jungkook: I am nine months older than you, 'Lil sis'. And also, I want to know how it feels to be a big brother. You see, I have been maknae of this family for my whole life and being maknae sucks.

He then looked at me and laugh evilly.

Jungkook: But now that you are here, I will enjoy you being maknae.

He laughs like a villain again.

Jungkook: Now I can finally order you around like my brothers.

I couldn't help but smile at his childish behaviour.

Y/N: So, that means you accept me as your sister?

Jungkook stops laughing and looked at me with a smile.

Jungkook: You already became my sister when I told you to call me 'Oppa'.

I smiled at him in happiness.

Wow, I was searching for alliances, but I found a brother! I guess they are not as bad as I thought.

But does that mean this whole time I was assuming the wrong things about them, then...?
