"Partners?" The stranger raises her brow with curiosity.

"That's not fair!" Sam stands with annoyance in her voice.

"You will show Alex around and help her out." The teacher speaks with a stern tone and Sam clentches her jaw.

"Fine." Sam walks over to the new kid and takes her hand before pulling her out of the classroom.

The two girls walk down the hallway, both with their arms crossed and neither one talking.

"So what do you like to do for fun?" Alex glances over to Sam, "I mean besides talking with plants."
