"Do you think it will be okay?" Sam looks at Alex, her eyes beginning to water.

"I don't know, maybe we can take it home and take care of it. We can care for it till it gets better." Alex bends down next to Sam, she felt sad that Sam seemed saddened from the bird.

"Okay." Sam rips some of her shirt and then gently wraps the bird in the cloth. "Let's go." She gets up and heads towards the edge of the boulevard, with intent to cross the road.

Alex nods and stands straight as well.

"Sam! Look out!"
