"josh can you turn that music down and clean your room like i asked you to an hour ago?", laura scolded at her son.

josh rolled his eyes and pressed pause on his radio that was booming Green Day.

"mom to be fair when do i ever listen to what you say? you say i'll be happy and that ashley's death won't make me sad forever but you're the one that's happy. you're the one with the new wife and the new son. he's gonna replace me too i bet.", josh said looking his mom in the eyes.

laura put her hands on her hips and walked farther into josh's room.

"tyler is not going to replace you! i love both of you the same.", laura tried.

"you love us the same yet i came out your vagina and you just met him what like 6 months ago?", josh complained.

"your step brother and step mom are going to be here any minute now. im going to my room and you're going to clean yours.", laura said before leaving.

josh rolled his eyes and turned his favorite band back on and to piss his mom off even more he turned the music up louder. he wouldn't have heard the knocking on the door and he didn't. but he saw the headlights and he knew kelly and tyler were here.

josh sighed and turned off his music so he could go open the front door. most likely tyler was asleep and kelly would need help with the boxes.

he opened the front door and was met with a tired kelly and an already half asleep tyler.

"thank you, joshua", kelly smiled.

tyler's head snapped up and his eyes widened as a blush coated his cheeks. after kelly declared she was going to go "sleep" with laura it was only tyler and josh left.
