There wasn't much but to relax now. Christmas was over and now there's only New Years but that's not for a while. On Christmas morning Namjoon told us that he could hear Jungkook and I and that he had to turn the music up a lot and start singing random songs to distract everyone. I felt really shy after that but Jungkook kept asking Namjoon if Yugyeom heard. Jungkook was out of town with my dad and Namjoon for a few days which left me and my mom alone. I was really bored because my mom had gone for work. I stare outside while drinking my water.

*buzz*

I look down at my phone. It was a message from Taehyung.

Wanna hangout? I'm off work.

I text back and told him sure. I quickly go upstairs to change before grabbing my bag and rushing out of the door.. Maybe it was a good time to talk to him about what happened the other night when he told me he loved me.. I drove up to the lake where he told me he'd be.. I haven't been here since.. since the day I broke up with Taehyung. [Who's remembers :'))]

I saw him sitting there with a blanket and a basket. I laugh at him as he smiles at me.

"A picnic?" I walk over to him sitting down on the blanket.

"Why of course! It's perfect for one today." He pulls out cups and a wine bottle.

"Tae I'm driving."

"So? A little can't hurt." He pours it in my glass. I shrug at him.

"I guess.." I took a sip of it. I stare at the water while holding the glass. Taehyung and I never got any alone time where it was just the two of us since he was busy with work and I was busy with school and well.. Jungkook was mostly with Tae. I watch the water move as the the sun shined. It was cold but sunny. I wrap my arms around myself trying to warm up.

"Oh here." Taehyung said as he saw me. He takes off his jacket and placing it on me.

"Thanks Tae." I looked at him with a smile on. He was smiling at me the whole time. I held onto his coat as his hands were still on it.

"Oh uh.." I look away from him as my face heats up. I turn to look at him again but he was still smiling at me.

"I miss seeing that shy smile of yours.." He breaths out before staring forwards at the lake.

"I miss.." He stares at the ground.

"I miss us.." He says quietly. My heart began to beat as he said those three words.

"But your with Jungkook now and I need to respect that. I mean you've always loved him.." He laughs to himself.

"Taehyung.. I did love you and still do.. Don't think that I never loved you when we dated.." I turn to face him. He grabs my hands.

"That night when I said I love you.. I meant it." He looks at me.

"Aria.. I still want you. I want to see you smile with me and go on trips together.. I want you and me to grow old with each other.." His eyes traveled down to my wrist. He smiles and I look down.

"Your still wearing the bracelet I got you." He runs his fingers across the bracelet.

"Of course I'm still wearing it.. I love this bracelet." He pulls me close. He moves close towards my face as if he was going to kiss me. I close my eyes as I could feel his breath near my nose. Just as our nose touched my phone rings. My eyes flutter opened as Taehyung backed up.

"Hello?" I answered quickly.

"Hey Aria where are you? We came home early because the hotel caught on fire because of Namjoon haha." Jungkook laughs as I could hear Namjoon yelling in the back.

"Oh I went out to the store." I lied with looking at Taehyung.

"Do you want me to meet there?" Jungkook offered.

"N-No! I'll come home now. I couldn't find what I was looking for anyways hahah." I nervously laughed.

"Oh well I could come and he-"

"See you soon Jungkook! Bye I love you!" I quickly hung the phone up. I look at Taehyung who seemed to be cleaning up. I stood up and handed his jacket back.

"Hey Tae-"

"It's okay Aria. Sorry about earlier I guess I was a bit crazy for saying those things." He laughs while folding the blanket.

"I think it was the wine talking." He grabs the basket and his jacket. "I'll see you at the New Years party okay?" He gives me a hug.

"Okay. See you then.." I nod while hugging him back. I watch him walk away and get into his car. I still couldn't believe Taehyung still had feelings for me.. What was I going to do. I quickly leave the lake and head back home.

I walk into my house.

"Where were you?" My dad asked.

"Yeah you made me worried. I mean the grocery store wasn't even that far." Jungkook says while wrapping his arms around me.

"Traffic." I said while taking off my shoes. Namjoon laughs.

"Alright if you say so." Namjoon smiles at me. Jungkook smiled at me while pulling me to the kitchen. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened at the lake.. how heartbroken Jungkook would feel if he knew Taehyung still loved me..

"What's wrong?" Jungkook looks at me while handing me a cookie. [;)]

"Nothing just can't wait for the new years party." I smile at him while kissing his cheek.

"Oh I can't wait either! It's going to be so fun." Jungkook bites into his cookie.

"So about Namjoon burning the hotel?" I asked changing the subject.

"Well.." My dad says.

"Hey it's not my fault! I thought you could heat up a glass plate!" Namjoon yells trying to defend himself. We all just start laughing at him. The rest of the day we all spent watching movies and eating a lot of junk food. Later that night I received another text from Taehyung.

Please don't tell Jungkook about what happened or at least almost what happened.. I don't want to hurt him..

I texted him back.

To: TaeBear🐻
I won't.

Jungkook fell asleep on my shoulder during the movie. He looked so adorable I couldn't hurt him... What was I going to do..

A/N: So most of you are still heart broken about the whole Taehyung break up so I decided to make this short chapter about Aria and Taehyung. To calm you down no there will not be any love triangles but it doesnt mean they'll be love squares ;) I'm just kidding there's none of those love shapes in this story haha or at least for now who knows.. Mostly there will likely be more drama then love triangles and etc. I hope you enjoy this and know that there is going to be a New Years chapter which will be chapter seven but I am not posting that until later on the 31st :) Hope you enjoy and please be patient I'll try to make it good!
