Chapter 8

Lucy's POV

I squinted my eyes at the other side of the arena where Sabertooth was assigned to emerge from. Five silhouette was seen coming in as i felt Natsu tensed up beside me. Clearly shows that he's still annoyed with Sting and Rogue because of last night.

As five figures emerged, the whole stadium was filled with cheers and shouts of joy. I'm kinda afraid that i'll go deaf after all of this. And indeed, Yukino is one of them, along with the twin dragonslayers and two more unfamiliar members. I gave Yukino an acknowledging nod which she responded. Luckily, our exchanged didn't caught any of our teammates attention.

"Ohhh, if it isn't Natsu-san and Blondie?" I instinctively scooted closer to Natsu who was glaring daggers at the blonde dragonslayer.

"Don't start with me, Sting-bee." Natsu threateningly said, only to receive an annoying smirk from the latter.

"Why not, Natsu-san? Why don't we just start a bet instead, shall we?" He smiled devilishly, his eyes suddenly ranking my body up and down. Gray and Erza, sensing Sting's objectives, blocked his view of me. Their glares rivaling Natsu's.

"Don't you dare involve Lucy into this." Natsu snapped as he growled furiously at the other dragonslayer.

"Oh, it seems that Blondie there is an important member of your guild. Makes it more interesting and fun." Sting continued, not at all fazed.

"Just what do you want?" Gray asked, clearly growing irritated and impatient.

"Simple. If Sabertooth wins the Games, we'll get to have Blondie. She'll join our guild and be my personal slave. Isn't that fun?" I shivered in fear hearing his words.

"Oi! That's uncalled for. You can't expect us to bet over bunny girl like that. What are you? Stupid?" I was kinda surprised when i heard Gajeel commented. Just then i realized that everyone, from the participating guilds to all the expectators, were watching us. Fairy Tail B where already by our side, all glaring threateningly at Sabertooth, more specifically to Sting. His comrades wasn't fazed, so was he. As a matter of fact, they were smirking, minus Yukino of course. Instead, she has this look of worry and concern.

"What? Afraid to lose?" The bulky Saber taunted. From Yukino's brief description, he seemed fit to be Orga Nanagear, a lightning mage.

"Taunt and mock us all you want but we will never agree on your useless and immature games." Laxus commented, arms crossed. He just looked at Sabertooth with no interest or whatsoever.

"Why not? If my memory serves me right, Lucy Heartfilia isn't even a S-Class. She's just a Celestial Wizard. Meaning, her leaving wouldn't make a huge difference in your guild." The one i presume to be Rufus Lore said as he smirked at us. I would be lying if i said i wasn't offended by that. I mean, how dare he belittle us Celestial Wizards!

"Shut the f*ck up! You have no right to judge Lucy like that. You have no idea what she's capable of! So, back off!" Natsu yelled angrily while intensifying his glare even more.

"But i'm afraid i'am. I know she already acquired 10 zodiac keys, can fully summon two spirits at the same time and capable of casting Urano Metria. Those are indeed impressive achievements. But still, she's just a Celestial Wizard. A holder type of Magic. Wizards that use their weak and useless spirits to protect and fight for them." I clenched my fists as i held back my anger. I can see that Yukino was also doing the same. I can ignore the fact that he called me weak, but say that we use my spirits as shield? And what more, he called them weak and useless! That's crossing the line!!

I moved away from Erza and Gray who were standing infront of me in a protective manner. I stepped a few meters infront of Saber. My eyes were covered by my bangs, my hands balled into fists. I'm angry. Wait, no.. I'm furious..

"Ohhh, did we made little Blondie mad?" I heard Sting mock me but i chose to ignore. Natsu attempted to pull me back but i moved away. Don't get me wrong. I'm not planning on starting a fight. I just need to knock some sense on them.

"I'm just gonna say this once so listen carefully. I don't care whatever you say about me. Kill me on your mind, the hell i care. But the moment you involved my spirits and my friends, your just asking for a one way ticket to hell. Celestial Wizards and Spirits are NOT weak. Our magic are made with bonds, friendship and promises. We don't rely on our spirits, we fight alongside them. But i guess it's pointless to try and lecture you about bonds since your're too narrow-minded to even understand it's meaning. So, please. Do all of us a favor and just shut the hell up." I spatted out. Seeing the shock look on their faces makes me want to laugh but i retained my emotionless stare. The whole stadium was quiet, only the snickers of Natsu, Gray, Gajeel and Laxus behind me reached my sense of hearing. Guess even my guildmates didn't expect i can outburst like that. But can you blame me? I'm enraged!

"A-Are you calling u-us Stupids?" Sting said in disbelief as he pointed to himself.

"If you have no other meaning behind the word narrow-minded, then yes. I'am indeed calling you stupids." I hissed before glaring at them. The same kind of horrifying glare Erza usually gives.

"You little wench! I'll make you pay for insulting Sabertooth! I don't even care if your a girl!" Sting glowered at me while cracking his knuckles, a look of anger on his face. But instead of feeling fear and intimidated, a smirk crept on my face.

"What will you do? Punch me on the face? Kick me on the gut? Send me flying with your dragonslayer roar? Newsflash, not everyone's afraid of you. And besides, try even laying a finger on me now, Sabertooth will be disqualified. It clearly states at the GMG rulebook that no member of a participating guild can harm a member of another guild, or else disqualification will be the end of them." I clarified with a look of satisfaction when realization crossed his features.

"You're defending on the rules then? That won't guarantee that you're safe. For now you are, but after the games i'll surely hunt you down for badmouthing Sabertooth." Sting threatened while snorting. From the corner of my eyes, i saw Natsu stiffened. But instead of running away and try to hide under a rock, i rolled my eyes. Yes, I freaking rolled my eyes at his threat. I'm not afraid of him. I rather experience Aquarius wrath than crawl away now. I'm not being stubborn, i just want to teach this freaks a lesson.

"As i said earlier, i'm.not.afraid. Do what you do best, hide behind the shadows of your guild's reputation. Threaten everyone who dares to talk back at you, use your guild's standing to create havoc and mess. The hell i care. But i'll ask you this, have you ever experienced the wrath of a Fairy Tail Wizard or a Celestial Wizard for that manner?" I asked, my voice sounding colder by seconds. Sting looks quite shakened up but retained his cool. Tch, this guy is surely easy to scare..

"Why does it m-matter?" he asked which made me smirk even more.

"Then it's safe to say that you haven't really experienced hell yet. Just a final warning for you and the rest of Sabertooth. Leave me, Fairy Tail and my spirits alone. You'll surely regret it if you dare disobey." I threatened before turning my back at them. A grin crossed my face as i was making my way back to our corner of the arena. Seeing Sting and his guildmates so nervous and shaken makes me so fired up.
