Chapter 3

Lucy's POV

  It was four in the morning but i was already out of the comfort of my bed. Already dressed and all necessary things packed. I was currently wearing a red and black sweatshirt over my plain black shirt, faded grey fitted jeans and a pair of black high cut converse. My blonde hair on low pigtails.

  I'm already at the streets of Magnolia while pulling my pink suitcase behind me. I was walking slowly and rhythmically while humming the same song my mom taught me, completely enjoying the cold dawn breeze. My mind occupied, either about the games or the constant murders of Celestial Wizards.

  "Lucy!"

  I stopped walking upon hearing a voice call my name. I whisked around and saw Natsu and Happy running towards me with grins flastered on each of their faces. I can't help but smile in return as i waited for them to catch up on me.

  "Lushee! Your early!" Happy complained which made me laugh softly.

  "You do realize that the train will leave at 5 and it's already 4:02 am. To think of it, we're already late." I lectured them while crossing my arms infront of me. A soft laugh escaped my lips as i saw both their faces turned pale at the thought of experiencing Erza's wrath. She, after all, was the one who gave us strict orders to be at the Train Station at 4 am sharp.

  "Sh*t! I forgot about that! Erza's gonna killa us! Come on!" Before i got the chance to react, Natsu grabbed my wrist with his left hand, his other holding my suitcase, before dashing off to the Station. I let out another laugh as i let him pull me along.

  After about 2 minutes of running and dragging, we finally reached the Station.

  "Your late." I stiffened at hearing Erza's voice, Natsu and Happy reacting the same. Before i know it, she was already infront of us, glaring menacingly.

  "S-Sorry! It t-took me l-long to lock my a-apartment properly. You k-know.. T-To make sure n-no robber would b-break in since we will s-stay in C-Crocus for a f-few weeks.." i stuttered every word before letting out a sigh of relief once i saw her nod in sign of understanding. She then transfered her glare to the two scumbag beside me.

  "And what about you two?"

  "Uhhhh.. W-We also n-needed to l-lock our h-house!" Oh no, that's not a good excuse. I'm sure Erza won't buy it..

  "Don't fool me! Your house is located at the outskirt of town! I'm not even surprise if no one knew that someone lives at that part of town!" As predicted, Erza gave the two a good beating. Less than an hour later, Erza was seen dragging them inside the train. I followed her, so did the other menbers of Fairy Tail.

☆Timeskip~5 Hours Later☆

  We finally arrived Crocus!

  Natsu literally jumped out of the train and started to kiss the cemented floor of the Station, earning him looks from the passersby. I can only sigh in embarrassment as i tried to drag the delusional dragon slayer away from there as soon as possible. Thankfully, Gray and Gajeel took over and dragged my poor partner by the legs.

  Once reaching the 'Honeybone' inn, we got settled on our rooms. Of course, as stated on the rules, all participants will need to share a room. Meaning, Erza, Gray, Elfman, Wendy, Natsu and I are going to share.

  The room we were assigned to is quite simple. It composes of a balcony, bathroom, 6 beds and bedside tables, 2 closets and lastly, a simple chandelier hanging at the middle. Lemon scent lingering on every corner of the room, giving me a homely and comfortable feeling.

  "Master informed me earlier that we need to be at the inn at exactly 12 midnight. On why, he doesn't know. So, that leaves us 14 hours to wonder around Crocus." Erza informed us while reading the game's guidebook.

  "14 hours? What can we do to occupy those hours?" Said Gray while running his hand through his raven hair, a frown visible on his face.

  "I don't know what you guys want, but i'm going exploring." I stated while stretching my arms up in the air.

  "I think i'll stick with Lucy." Natsu agreed with me which made me smile at his direction.

  "Aye, sir!"

  "I'm just going to stay here. That 5-hour ride drained my energy." Erza stated while requipping to her pink strawberry designed pajamas before flopping down her chosen bed.

  "I suppose i'll visit my sisters." Elfman said, crossing his arms infront of his chest.

  "Me and Charles will roam around Mercurius." Wendy announced while clasping her hands together in an excited manner. Her brown eyes sparkling in excitement and enthusiasm.

  "And i'll look for something to do." Gray said, scratching the back of his neck.

  With that being said, we all parted ways just outside the inn.

  I can only facepalm as i tried my best to cover up my face. Me, Happy and Natsu passed by a resto named 'paradise' when my companions suddenly decided to drag me inside and eat. Such a gentle and hospitable way, won't you agree?

  "Ne, Lucy?" I looked up and gave Natsu a questioning gaze.

  "Yeah?"

  "Where were you yesterday when you left the guild?"

  "Huh?"

  "I mean, i went to your house at noon to check on you but you weren't there. Your scent wasn't that strong as it should be when you stay there, so i assumed you didn't went home when you left the guild. I was going to look for you but then i fell asleep on your bed." Shock was seen on my face as i tried to process his words. Since when did he became so observant?

  "Well, i went out grocery shopping s-since you two emptied my refrigerator. Again." I reasoned which was true enough. I did went to the market yesterday and shopped for groceries.

  "You went grocery shopping for almost 4 hours? On what market? On the next town?" He said sarcastically as he narrowed his eyes on me. 'God! Why did he pick to be smart and observant now?!'

  "Sheesh, Natzu. Your acting like a possessive boyfriend. You lllllllllike her!" A blush crept my cheeks when i realized that Happy was right. Damn that stupid cat!

  "Hey! I'm not possessive! I'm just worried!" Wait a minute.. there's something missing in his sentence.. >\\\<

  "Natzu! You didn't deny the boyfriend part! Are you two secretly dating or what?!"

  "Zip it, cat! We are not dating nor together! So, stop imagining things!" I yelled defensively while glaring at the said animal.

  "What do you mean we're not together? Did you hit your head or something? The two of us are clearly together, as a matter of fact, we're three if you include Happy. We decided to go out exploring TOGETHER, remember?"

  I seriously want to hit this guy with Taurus' axe then send him flying with my Lucy Kick..

  "He didn't mean literally together! As in together together! The couples kind of thing!" I gave him a smack on the head as i explained so.
