 I highly recommend this online web version editing site because it's got amazing features and is easy to use once you get the hang of it. In all honesty at first I didn't even know how to open an image in it, but later on I learned how to after numerous failed attempts and hour long tutorials *le sigh* and it was totally worth it in the end!

It's a pretty good website for editing. It's sort of confusing at first but with practice you can get the hang of it. I would personally suggest using Pixlr Editor but Lunapic can also be used for making covers, pngs, resources...etc, I just think it's more complicated.

Gimp is just great for everything. I'm pretty new to this software but from the little experience I have it's great for editing pics. It helps make a dull image pop more with all the effects, filters...etc available. The only downside is that it can be very confusing at first.

Canva is pretty much a website with a ton of templates for all types of graphics. It has decent fonts and great templates. The only downside is that it doesn't have many editing tools so you can't really make manips on it. But besides that it's a great website for making simple covers.

BTW CANVA ISN'T COMPLETELY FREE SO IF YOU WANT TO USE PICS, TEMPLATES AND STICKERS FROM CANVA, KEEP IN MIND THAT NOT ALL OF THEM ARE FREE. This little page will pop up and tell you to purchase it.
