Siddharth Nigam is one of the most famous actors in Bollywood. He had his crazy fans all over his world. Whole day, he was surrounde by people and cameras. The only time he would get peace is at night, when he could sleep without any tension.

As usual, Sid was in his room sleeping peacefully when he heard some sounds from the window. He half-opened his eyes and saw someone's hand on the window as if that person is trying to climb into his room. He acted as he was in deep sleep but still kept his eyes half open so as to see what is happening. A person in black dress jumped inside. The face was covered in a scarf as a mask. The person started going closer to Sid.

Sid threw the covers himself and launched himself on the person pushing them back till the person was pinned to the wall. He had pinned the person's hands above the head and gripped the neck.

Sid- Who the fuck are you?

But his voice faded and so did his grip on the person's neck when his eyes met with the eyes of the person. The very familiar eyes who had the ability to captivate him at many moments. The eyes who made him obey to everything that left the person's mouth. The eyes of his PR Agent.

Sid removed the mask and the completely familiar face came in view.

Sid- Avneet?

She kicked him in his groin. He moaned in pain and left her, his hands immediately going between his legs. She took off her scarf and switched on the lights. Sid sat on the bed.

Sid- May I know what are u doing in my room at midnight? Especially why are u sneaking in..that too from the window?

Avu- I always had this wish to sneak in and act like a thief. Finally this wish is ticked off my bucket list.

Sid looked at her as if she had grown two heads.

Sid- R u serious?

Avu- Yes! And even I was checking if ur room is safe and all. Can someone sneak in and capture you on the camera? All those things...u know how much the media loves you..

Sid- Everyone loves me. I know u don't tell it but even u love me. U should be happy and feel lucky because u are the girl who is always so close to me. See, now u are literally in my bedroom, where every girl wishes to be.

Avu- Shut up Mr. Self-Obsessed. U are a pain in ass. I only work with u because u pay me a high sum. Or else I would have already left u and this job.

Sid- Anyway, u had your stunt? Now go away and let me sleep.

He covered himself with the covers and closed his eyes. Avu got up and switched off the lights and left. She moved towards her room. Yes, she had her room in his house because she often had to stay back due to some work or the other.

But today she was not feeling sleepy. So, she went to the living room and sat infront of the Tv on the couch. She turned on the TV and started watching.

Few minutes later, Sid came downstairs rubbing his eyes. He furrowed his eyebrows seeing her but sat beside her. Avu looked at him for a second and then looked back at the Tv.

Avu- Why are u awake?

Sid- I couldn't sleep again. Thanks to you.

Avu- Whatever.

Sid- By the way, my room's TV is not working. Call the technician tomorrow.

Avu- I am your PR, not your assistant.

Sid- U are my savior, the first name in my emergency contacts.

He pulled her cheeks and she swat away his hands.

Avu- Don't annoy me. Let me watch.

Sid- What are u watching? So boring.

He snatched the remote away from her and changed the channel.

Avu- Siddharth, give it back to me, u idiot.

Sid stretched his hand away from her. She tried getting it from him, almost climbing on him.

He kept changing the channels holding Avu away.

Avu- Siddahhhrthhhh!! give it backkkkk...

Sid- Noo..ok ok...see..my movie...which u like the most.

Avu turned her head towards the Tv where one of Sid's movies was going on. She sat back silently.

Avu- I don't like this.

Sid- Oh don't lie..I know this is your favorite movie.

He said it with a teasing smile.

Avu(mumbled)- Shut up.

Of course it was her favorite movie but she was not ready to accept it to Sid.

He wrapped his arm around her shoulder but she removed it. He again did so and pulled her closer while laughing. She kept pushing him but eventually gave up and kept her head on his chest. A small smile adored her lips and both watched the movie silently.

Next morning,

Avu turned around on the bed and unknowingly climbed upon a bare back. She slowly opened her eyes to see the comfortable yet hard bed only to be met by Sid's bare back. She screamed and tried climbing off him but tripped and fell on the floor.

Sid groaned and opened his eyes to see Avu sitting on the floor with a frown.

Sid- Why are u sitting on the floor?

Avu's nostrils flared in anger and she got up taking a pillow and started beating him. He raised his hands to save himself. After she was satisfied she threw away the pillow.

Avu- Why did u sleep beside me? Couldn't u go to your room?

Sid- I was so tired to move. I hardly brought your thick weighted body to the room. So thank me.

Avu- Thick? From where do I look thick?

She flaunted moving left and right.

Avu- And even if u slept, u could hv slept with your shirt on. What was the need to take it off?

Sid- I was feeling hot.

Avu groaned in annoyance.

Avu- Go to hell. I am leaving.

She again threw the pillow on him and left.

He got up and got ready and left for the shoot.

Few hours later,

Sid was just done with his shoot. He came and sat on his seat when his phone rang. He saw it was from Avu and picked it up.

Sid- H-

Avu- U FREAKING CARELESS IRRESPONSIBLE IDIOT!

Sid's phone fell from his hands by her yell but he managed to hold it. He squeezed his eyes.

Avu- U DUMB BOY. I AM GONNA KILL YOU. BRING YOUR ASS TO YOUR HOME RIGHT NOW.

Sid- Avneet, why are u yelling? I am at shoot.

Avu- AND TRUST ME, U WON'T GET ANOTHER CHANCE FOR YOUR SHOOT IF U DON'T COME NOW. SO I DON'T CARE WHERE THE FUCK U ARE NOW. GET TO HOME IMMEDIATELY.

She ended the call. Sid told the director that it was an emergency and left.

He slammed the door and entered his house.

Sid- What the fuck Avneet? I was at work. Do u hv a bit sense of professionalism?

Avu- Don't teach me professionalism. At least not when ur career is at the cliff end.

Sid- What do u mean?

Avu turned her laptop towards him.

Avu- Have a look yourself.

Sid looked at the laptop and his eyes widened. It was a blackmail email of an unknown person who had sent a video of Sid fucking some girl near a club. The person had asked for a huge sum of money.

Sid- What nonsense?!!

Avu- Its not nonsense Siddharth. It makes complete sense.

Sid- I won't give someone the money which I have taken years to earn. And my face is not even visible in this video.

Avu- It's not? Well, from your back anyone can recognize you. And look at that tattoo Siddharth. It won't take a genius to figure out who it was. And had u completely lost it. Were u pulling off some stunt by having sex in public? That too near a club?

Sid- It was the back door though.

Avu huffed.

Avu- It has not been even two months properly before again something like this happened. Last time u were caught having sex in a car, a fucking car and it was all over the news. Do u hv any hobby to pull such stunts?

Sid- Yah the sex becomes hot when there is a possibility of getting caught.

Sid joked winking at her but Avu groaned almost pulling out her hair.

Sid- Avneet, u are over reacting. Nothing will happen.

Avu- Oh u do think so? Well, News Flash Siddharth Nigam. Your career, yours years of hardwork...its all going to be mixed with the soil. Its about to end. U are so busy in your world that u hv no idea what is going on around you. Some of the big projects are taken back from you. Not only that the companies whom u had rejected or postponed, they are now not even willing to take you. And guess what, your biggest project, which might have even given u the chance to go to HOLLYWOOD...their contract clearly mentions u to be a committed person.

Sid- They can't force me.

Avu- Well your image made them do so. Just open your eyes Siddharth and see your world falling down.

Sid fell on the couch and rubbed his face.

Avu- No matter how many times I tell u, u hv to go against me. So I guess u don't need me anymore. Handle your problem on your own. I am sick and tired saving u again and again and again, I don't know how many times. So, now I am quitting. I will send you my resignation letter. Bye and all the best.

She turned to leave but Sid immediately got up and held her wrist turning her around.

Sid- Plz Avneet..plz..don't leave me now. I will listen to you. U hv been with me from the start of my career. You know very well what it means to me, how much hardwork it has taken to bring me where I am standing now. So, plz save me. I promise to do whatever you say. But plz don;t turn your back on me now.

Tears had formed in his eyes thinking about the end of his career.

Avu sighed. She made him seat on the couch and went to the kitchen to bring water for him. She gave it to him and he drank it rubbing his eyes again.

Avu- U go and take rest. I will see what I can do.

Sid- Thank you.

He got up and went to her room. Avu sat on the dining table and started working.

Skips to night,

Sid came downstairs. He saw Avu was typing something on the laptop. He went to the kitchen and started cooking dinner.

About one hour later, he kept two plates of food on the dining table and took the seat beside her.

Sid- Avneet, have your dinner.

Avu- U eat. I will have later on.

He very well knew that later on meant never.

He took a spoon of food and kept it infront of her mouth. She looked at the spoon and then at him.

Sid- What? Its not everyday Siddharth Nigam feeds you. Open your mouth and eat.

Avu slowly took the food. Like this, Sid made her eat and ate himself. After dinner, he looked at the clock. It was past midnight.

Sid- Avneet, its late. U should sleep.

Avu- No Siddharth, there is too much of work. I will sleep later on.

Sid- Shut up. U will do it tomorrow.

He shut her laptop closed.

Avu- Sid-

Sid- I said shut up.

He pulled back her chair and picked her up. He took her to her room while she kept protesting the whole way. He laid her down on her bed and covered her with the blanket. She was about to tell something but he shut her with his index finger on her lips.

Sid- Shhh...u can work tomorrow. Now take rest. Sleep.

He switched off the lights and left. She sighed and closed the eyes.

Next Morning,

Sid had already cancelled his shoot. So he woke up late. He went downstairs and found the house empty.

Sid- Avneet?

Hearing no reply, he went back upstairs and checked her room but found the bed empty. He called her and heard the phone ringing beside the pillow. He took her phone.

Sid- If her phone is here, where the hell is this girl?

He started checking every room. Finally he found her in the office room. Papers were sprawled on the desk and the laptop was kept. Her head was lying on her stretched out arms. Sid sighed shaking his disbelief. He went near her and arranged the papers. He bent down to shut the laptop close when he realized how close his face was to hers. He tugged her hair at the back of her ear as a small smile formed on his lips.

Sid- So beautiful.

His eyes moved to each detailed feature of her face until he noticed her dark circles and the stress lines.

Sid- I am sorry Avneet that due to me, u have to stay up all night. Only if I would have been careful enough, then there would not have been so much problems.

His eyes went to her lips. Just then, she squeezed her eyes and slowly opened them. She got perplexed when she saw him so close to her.

Avu- Siddharth?

His eyes flickered back to her eyes. He immediately backed off and cleared his throat. He went and sat on the chair infront of her.

Avu- What are u doing here?

She asked him rubbing her eyes which he found so cute.

Sid- Me? What are u doing here? I had asked u to sleep.

Avu- Yah...I didn't feel sleepy. So I came here.

Her eyes fell on the papers and she remembered something. She immediately brought the papers close to her.

Avu- SIDDHARTH!!

Sid- Hmm...

He said while taking a glass of water.

Avu- U are getting married.

Sid spit out the water which he had just drank.

Sid- WHHATTTT??!!!

Avu- Yes...u hv to get married.

Sid- Yah..that's why I was asking u to take rest. U don't kbow what u are speaking.

Avu- I know what I am saying.

Sid got up and went out of the room while Avu followed him.

Avu- Siddharth, listen to me. Stop. I said stop.

He immediately stopped. She bumped with his back and rubbed her nose before going to stand infront of him.

Sid- Avneet, I am not in the mood of the jokes this early morning.

Avu- And I am not joking. Trust me. U hv to do this.

He rolled his eyes and passed her walking away. She again followed him.

Avu- U hv a huge playboy image. The only way to solve it is that people will think u are committed and u are in love with someone.

She crossed him and stood infront of him blocking his path. She stood on her tiptoes bringing her face close to him.

Sid put a finger on her forehead and pushed her back.

Sid- Go and brush your teeth. Your mouth is smelling bad.

Avu exhaled air into her hand and stomped foot going to her room.

After doing her morning chores, she went downstairs to the kitchen.

Avu- Si-

He stuffed a sandwich in her mouth. She took a bite and started eating. After they was done with the breakfast, Sid went and turned on the TV.

Avu- Siddharth...listen to me.

He started increasing the volume of the TV.

Avu whined and switched off the TV. He rolled his eyes and was about to stand up but she pushed him back from his shoulders.

Avu- Siddharth. Listen to me.

Sid- What will I listen? U are talking rubbish.

Avu sat down beside him.

Avu- We don't have any other option. Everyone wants to see that u are committed.Just imagine...u getting a wife..it will be a huge publicity stunt. Your upcoming movie will be a big hit. All will start seeing you from a different point of view...u know..the man who is taken. And your entry to Hollywood, they are gonna welcome u. Just give it a thought Siddharth. I know this is too much for you but this is the only solution I can see. If u hv any other, tell me.

Sid- What if I get a girlfriend?

Avu- No...they obviously want a long time commitment and both of us know that getting a fake girlfriend is a very common in this industry. They want something big.

Sid sighed and rested his head on the back of the couch closing his eyes. Avu kept a hand on his shoulder.

Avu(softly)- Siddharth...

He opened his eyes and took her hand keeping it on his lap. He held it as he looked into his eyes.

Sid- I don't know Avneet.

Avu- Trust me Siddharth...this plan will work.

Sid- Its not you whom I don't trust. Of course I know u must hv thought enough but its about my whole life. I can't just marry someone whom I don't even know for the sake of image.

Avu- We have time. Go on dates and see who is perfect for you. May be u will get the girl of your dreams. And if u will hv differences, u will have a divorce. Explain these all situations to her.

Sid- Fine.

Avu- U are ready to marry?

Avu- Thank God. Now call your parents and inform them.

Sid called his mother.

Mom- Hi Sid...how r u son?

Sid- Mom, find a girl for me soon. I am gonna get married.

He cut the call. Avu looked at him in disbelief.

Avu- R u serious?

Sid- She is my Mom. She will choose the best for me.

Avu- Whatever!! But I am bringing my laptop. Then we will discuss the action plan.

Avu nodded. Sid went to his room and Avu came there after sometime with her laptop. She sat on his bed while Sid was standing infront of his closet. Avu's eyes fell on something and her eyes glowed with desire. Sid turned towards her.

Sid- Avneet, no matter how much I say this, that won't be enough. But thank you. Thanks a lot. I don't know what I would have done without you.

Avu- U are most welcome Mr. Nigam.

She grinned. Sid turned back searching a dress for him.

Avu- Btw Siddharth...

Sid- Hmm...

Avu- If u want to thank me, why don't u give me a gift?

Sid looked back at her.

Sid- A gift? What do u want?

Avu pointed at his closet.

Sid- U want the closet?

Avu- No u idiot.

Sid- Then?

Avu- That T-shirt..

Sid looked at his closet.

Sid- Which one?

Avu- That white one with those drawings.

Sid's eyes widened.

Sid- No wayyyy...

Avu stood up and went near him.

Avu- Plz plz plz plz plz...

Sid- This has costed me dollars. And its my favorite one.

Avu- But u wanted to thank me.

Sid- U can ask for any other gift. This whole closet of clothes can be yours. I won't mind but not that one.

Avu pouted sadly.

Avu- Ok..no worries.

She sat down on the bed again. Sid sighed and closed his eyes taking a deep breath. He took out the shirt from his closet.

Sid- Ok fine..take it..this is yours from now on.

Avu's eyes shined with happiness. She moved her hand towards it but Sid pulled it back.

Sid- Handle it with care. If something happens to this, I am gonna kill you.

Avu- Sure..

Sid forwarded and she snatched it from her and hugged it.

Avu- U know what..we will discuss later. First I will take a bath.

She ran away while Sid chuckled looking at her excitement.

About one hour later,

Avu came inside Sid's room. He turned his eyes from his phone to the door where she was standing wearing his T-shirt smiling cheekily.

Avu- How do I look?

Sid- Uhm...good...u look good.

Sid was almost speechless seeing her.

Avu- Thank You

She came and sat beside him.

Sid- I didn't know u liked this shirt so much.

Avu- I do..Idk why...but I do and it smells so damn good.

Sid- It smells like me. I wear it so it smells like me.

Avu looked at him and found him smirking.

Sid- That indicates u love the smell of my body...wanna hv it more?

He came closer to her but she pushed him.

She stretched her legs and brought her laptop to her lap. Sid put an arm around her shoulders and kissed her cheek. She rubbed it annoyingly which made him laugh.

They worked the whole day.

At Night,

Avu whined being completely frustrated.

Avu- Siddharrrthhh...I hv been showing the photos of so many girls since the last three hours and u didn't like even one.

Sid- So what will I do? They don't have the vibe of being the wife of Siddharth Nigam.

Avu- Vibe??Seriously..

Avu held his face and turned it towards the people standing there. His eyes even widened.

Sid- Mom, Dad, Dada, Bhabs....what are u all doing here?

Yah, his parents, his brother and sister in-law were present there.

Mom- u called me and told that u are getting married. U asked me to find a girl for you but here u hv already found a girl for yourself.

Dad- But what were u both talking about last night? Huh?

He pulled her closer and kissed her temple.

He bent down to whisper in her ears.

Sid- U were trying to get me married...now I am making u fall in the same trap.

Avu glared at him but before she could say anything Sid's Mom and Vaish started asking her questions. Avu was looking at all of them nervously. Suddenly Sid burst out laughing looking at her condition. Everyone looked at him as if he had grown horns.

Abhi- My brother has gone crazy.

Sid- Sorry guys...it was a joke...I am not getting married to Avneet...I jsut wanted to see her reaction to all this.

Dad- Then why did u call yesterday?

Avu- Let me tell you Sir. This boy has been constantly getting into scandals where he has quite a...playboy image..and the owners of his new projects are asking him to get committed. So, we hv to find him a wife.

His mom pulled his ears.

Mom- Hv I taught u all these things?

Sid- Mom Mom Mom...these are rumors...why will I go near so many girls? I am a one girl man.

His mom left his ear. Avu looked at him with narrowed eyes while he winked at her making her shake her head in disbelief at his lie.

Sid- So, I asked u to find a girl for me. But someone tolerable... Anyway, we will discuss it thoroughly..Avneet has all the details. She will explain it to you. I am gonna have a refreshing bath. U guys even get fresh.

He pulled Avu's cheeks.

Sid- Bye baby.

She swat away his hand making him chuckle.

He went to his room. She turned and saw all of them giving her looks.

Avu- I think I should go and change.

She ran away to her room.

Few minutes later, she came downstairs where she saw Sid's family members gathered in the hall except him.

Mom- Avneet...

Avu- Yes Mam..

Mom- How many times I hv told u not to tell me Mam...

Avu- Sorry Aunty...I am meeting u after so many days..so I always forget about that.

She went and sat beside him.

Mom- Listen to me carefully beta... according to u Sid needs to marry someone.

Avu- Yes..

Mom- But u are a girl...u know how much a marriage is important in someone's life. No girl will want to marry him just for saving him...and if someone does, it will be in the greed of his money and fame. Like this, he won't get a genuine girl who will love him for himself.

He came and jumped on the couch beside Avu. He looked at her face which was blank. A frown formed on his face.

Sid- Ok Sorry Avneet...I won't prank anymore. I am telling everyone clearly. Avneet and I are not dating. Happy Avneet?

She still didn't say anything.

Sid- What happened to her?

Dad- Sid..we are glad that u trust us to find a bride for you. And we hv chosen someone.

Sid- So soon? Plz Dad...its the question of my whole life. I can't just marry someone unknown.

Dad- U know her...too well.

Sid- Ok..who is she?

Dad- We want u both to marry each other.

Sid- Who both?

Mom- Sid, we want u and Avneet to get married.

Sid's face turned into a shocked one. He looked at Avu who turned to look at him.

Sid- Hv u guys completely lost it? I understand that these are my mistakes and I hv to pay for it. But what has she done to do this? She doesn't hv to take the decision of her life just to save me. She has already done enough for me. Don't force her into this.

Mom- We are not forcing her...nor we are forcing u..we are just asking u both to think about giving this a chance. As I was saying now, u both know each other from so many years and have been good friends. I know u may not want an arrange marriage but who knows, u both might fall in love with each other later on.

Sid- Mom plz...

Mom- Sid, list-

Sid- Ukw...I am having my shoot..I am leaving.

He stood up and was about to go but he turned and held Avu's hand pulling her with himself.

Sid- And I am taking her with me else u guys are gonna eat out her mind.

He took his car keys and left with her. He opened the passenger door and she sat inside. He closed the door and went to the driver's side. He started driving.

After a while,

He looked over at Avu to see her leaning against the window completely lost in their thoughts.

Sid- Avneet, relax. Don't worry. I will convince Mom and Dad that this is not a good solution.

He stopped infront of the Starbucks. He was about to leave but she stopped him.

Avu- Wait! I will bring.

She got out of the car and went to Starbucks. Few minutes later. she came with a black coffee and an oreo milkshake. But her feet stopped when she saw the crowd infront of Sid's car and him giving autographs and taking selfies. She sighed and shook her head before moving towards him.

Suddenly someone pushed her. She was about to fall but Sid, who had his eyes on her from the moment she came out of the shop, ran towards her and held her wrist pulling her towards his chest. They had an eye contact for a few seconds before Sid made her stand properly.

Avu- Thanks

He opened the car door for her. After she sat inside, he closed the door and waved at his fans before sitting inside and driving off.

Avu- U and ur fans...

Sid- Yah...they kind of recognized my car. IDK how?

After a while,

Sid stopped at a cliff area from where the whole city was visible. They got out of the car. Avu forwarded him his coffee and started sipping onto her shake.

Avu- Finding a way of escape...

Sid- More like peace..

Avu- I thought u loved all those attention.

Sid- I do...but sometimes its too much.

Avu- Like now?

Sid- Like now.

They sat down on a rock in comfortable silence. Suddenly there phones started popping notifications. Their eyes widened when they saw the new information. Photos of them at the Starbucks where Sid was holding Avu or where she was sitting in his car were posted with the caption " Siddharth Nigam in love with his secret girlfriend? "

Avu- I can't believe this.

Sid- Fuck!! Is the whole destiny against us? I can't imagine the reaction of my parents seeing this. It will motivate them. We hv to put so much efforts to convince them that there idea was a dumb one.

Avu- But they had so much hope in their eyes.
