Friday had come and Barry had promised, well said he'd go with her to her high school reunion.
He thought to himself, thinking about how it might actually be a fun to go with Maya to her reunion.
"You ready to head out?" Barry asks entering the lab finding Maya in a nice red dress finishing up some last minute paperwork.
"Yeah, ready as I'll ever be, going back and facing the high school demons" Maya says as they walk out of the labs, down the stairs before heading into the elevator.

They pull up to Central City High School, where mostly the students with so called rich families went.
Barry and Maya get out of the car, and walk to the school. They enter the school with linked arms as they make there way to the name table.
"Welcome to the reunion, now which one of you went here or are you both graduates from here" a young lady working the table starts to ask before being interrupted.
"Beth, I'm betting you they were high school sweethearts" another lady says.
"No. No. We are just friends" Maya starts to say.
"Yeah just friends" Barry adds.
"Maya Parker, now can I have my name tag so we can go" Maya asks agitated.
"Maya Parker,... Maya Parker, ahh ha here you go, have fun you two" Beth says handing Maya her name tag as the two head to the cafeteria where the reunion is being held.
Walking together they find a table and sit.
"So?" Maya states
"So any friends of yours here, maybe you know I could meet them?" Barry questions throwing that idea out in the air.
"I don't know, my friends and I, we lost touch when I,.... After graduating I knew I was going to go to college. I knew what I wanted to do with my life. And I knew what I had to do to get there. My friends wanted me to go to the college they were going to, popular because of the sorority if you ask me, but I wasn't going there. So we kinda lost touch when I left Central City to go to a college with a good forensic science program. The school they wanted me to go to, it didn't even have one at all! And I don't think they realized at the time, I have a life, I have my opinions. It always seemed like I was just the spare tire, ya know just along for the ride. So yeah I honestly don't know what I'm doing here,why I even came. And I'm sorry for dragging you to this with me." Maya says
"Hey, You know if you ever need" Barry starts to say before someone interrupts
"Maya Parker, is that really you, and with a boy?" a woman questions coming over to Barry and Maya.
"Yea what's it to you Rose" Maya responds sounding angry.
"Just saying you weren't much to hang out with boys, or even be close friends with one, you kept your distance not wanting I don't know I guess you didn't want to fall in love" Rose responds
"Well she's the best girlfriend a guy could ask for" Barry states, Maya turning her head towards him Rose looking in his direction as well.
"So I'm a photographer, and when we were here in school, she was my "model" funny thing is I was hoping you'd be here Maya, I found some old film, and I had the pictures developed, I thought you'd like to have them" Rose says, handing Maya an envelope, Maya sitting down moving her chair closer to Barry, Rose sitting down at the table next to her. 
My opens the envelope and pulls out these pictures:

"Wow these photos are beautiful" Barry says
"Well Maya's beautiful so she made my part easy" Rose says Maya blushing.
"Can I keep these" Maya asks
"Yeah I don't need them, I already have a copy for my work portfolio" Rose says
"Thanks so much" Maya says
"One day I hope I can get a few pics of the metas around town using their powers, or at least the ones that won't try to kill me" Rose says laughing a bit, Barry and Maya looking at each other.
"We got to go" Maya says getting up and grabbing Barry's hand.
"Hey wait, shoot me a text sometime, I'd like to take more photos of you, and maybe even with your boy?" Rose says handing Maya her business card as she quickly heads to the exit, with Barry's hand intertwined with hers.
