"I decided I don't care if I get arrested I want to kill what killed my future. And that means I have to kill Maya Parker." McDonald says having entered the warehouse again.

"I'm not gonna let you kill her. You'll have to kill me first" Barry growls at the man standing in front of him and his soon to be lifeless girlfriend.

"Then I guess I'll have to kill you first." McDonald says an evil tone used.

"Fine fan just do it" Barry yells. Then McDonald goes over and picks Maya up by the collar of her shirt, and that's when he comes to the rescue.

"Put the knife down or I swear to god I'll drop you on your ass" a man in a green hooded suit says with a drawn bow.

"Why don't I just slit her throat" McDonald says an evil grin on his face as he places the knife to her throat.

Then a shot rings out.

"No one messes with my family and gets away with it" Joe says having shot McDonald in the leg causing him to fall. Then he runs over to Barry and untied him.

McDonald isn't dead but goes for the knife so the man in green shoots him with a deadly arrow to the heart.

"When do you think she will wake up." Barry asks Doctor Reed who is checking him over making sure he's ok because of the beating he took. 

"Well I didn't come all the way to Starling City just to let her die, but I can't give an exact time" Dr. Reed says giving a small smile to Barry reassuring him she was doing all she could for his girlfriend.

"If I hadn't left she wouldn't have gotten taken, I could have quickly swept her off her feet bridal style and dashed to S.T.A.R. Labs. But I had to be a hopeless romantic who was trying to do something nice for his girlfriend who's had a rough few weeks" Barry states starting to blame himself for the mess they were in.

"Barry don't blame yourself you can't change the past, just keep running forward" Reed says.

"How's she doing doc?" Oliver questions entering the medical room in the Arrow headquarters.

"Thanks for saving us but who the hell are you?" Barry asks kinda pissed off.

"Mayor Queen" Felicity says entering and sitting at Maya's bedside.

"Your the mayor, so that makes you Oliver Queen, do people know you're the Green Arrow?" Barry asks excited.

"Yeah I'm the mayor. The answer to your question is the answer to mine. Besides your team do people know you're the 'flash' as you so call yourself" Oliver responds with an annoyed tone.

"I missed you girly" Felicity whispers, looking at Mays's resting body.

"Do you know her?" Barry asks.

"Wait is that Elisa Withers?" Oliver asks.

"She went missing, well her brother was shot and she testified against the man in prison. Then she just vanished. No one knew where she went" Felicity explains.

"So you were friends" Barry says. That of course was him stating the obvious.

"Barry" Maya whispers out to him.
