Chapter 18
Maya was getting ready to shut the unit when something had caught her eye; it was a tub.
A tub in which contained somewhat shattered dreams of hers. In the box lies art work form her middle school years and her first year of high school. She quickly grabs us and shuts the unit.
"What's that" a curious Barry Allen asks taking notice to the box in his girlfriends hands.
"Nothing just some stuff I wanna go threw eventually." She responds. But she couldn't fool him. He knew there was more to the story of what lie in that container.
"Welcome, how may I help you today" a man asks Barry and Maya having just entered a gun shop she is a frequent costumer at.
"We've got an Air Rifle we wanna get checked out" Maya says, the rifle case being set on the counter by Barry who was the one to carry it in.
"This is a nice Rifle you got here" the man says looking it over. "All it needs is a new air cylinder"
And that's when the man unscrews the red cylinder setting it on a counter behind him.
"Can we keep the cylinder please" Barry asks.
"Uhh it won't work but I don't see why not" the man responds handing over the red cylinder.
"Barry, I don't know what to say, . . ." Is all Maya can say before Barry embraces her holding her waist giving her a kiss.
"I knew it meant something to you, that makes it mean something to me" Barry says
"Barry Allen what did I do to deserve you?" Maya questions jokingly, before he kisses her again.
