Lucy walked through the main entrance to Fairytail University. She couldn't believe how fast the summer break had gone. It went by even faster once they started hanging out with their friends again, instead of well, you know. She had an overall great summer, with the exception of the first week or so before her and Natsu had worked everything out. Of course she was a little bit concerned about him though, ever since they had all gone shopping at the mall he had been acting a little different. It wasn't a bad different, she didn't think. It was just he was being kind of secretive. She didn't know what he was up to, but she was sure going to find out. 

She waved as she saw Levy and Erza standing talking to another blue haired girl, Who is that? She looks familiar but I can't tell with her back turned. Lucy thought to herself. The girl turned towards where everyone was waving and smiled. Oh, its Juvia. Lucy smiled back as she approached the group. They had been known to have some differences in the past, well really they were one sided when Juvia had it in her head that Lucy was going to steal Gray, but since then they had actually become pretty good friends. 

"Hey Juvia," Lucy said when she approached them, "What are you doing here?"

Juvia hugged Lucy tightly, "I was finally able to transfer here!" She squealed enthusiastically, "Now I get to spend all of my time with my love Gray!" She smiled with hearts in her eyes.

"That's wonderful" Erza smiled trying to hold back a snicker, "How excited was Gray when you told him?" 

"O-oh.. w-well actually... I haven't told him yet," She answered kind of nervously, "I thought I would surprise him today!" She perked back up.

I figured, Lucy thought to herself, Gray is going to have a heart attack. She knew, well actually everyone knew, that Gray loved Juvia, but she could be a tad bit, well, overwhelming at times. Or in Gray's case, pretty much twenty-four-seven. So he was kind of glad she went to another school because it gave him a break from time to time. 

"Well, come on we will help you find him!" Levy grinned grabbing Juvia's hand and pulling her towards the campus doors. 

Lucy and Erza walked behind the two blue haired girls when Erza leaned towards Lucy and whispered, "I love Juvia, but I am ddyyiinnnggg to see Gray's face when he finds out she transferred here this year."

Lucy burst out laughing trying to imagine Gray's reaction. The four girls walked into the school building together looking for the guys as they carried on their conversations. "Hey guys, have ya'll noticed Natsu acting a little funny lately?" Lucy asked. 

"Natsu acting funny?" Levy replied with a giggle, "No more then usual, it's not like he's normal to begin with."

"Ha ha ha," Lucy laughed back sarcastically. 

"Why do you think he's acting funny" Juvia asked. This question made all the girls stop and stare at Lucy. After the past few months and everything that had happened they were always concerned when Lucy said things like that. They didn't want to see her hurt again.

"Oh no," guys she said shaking her hand at them with a smile, "I don't think its anything bad, I just think he's up to something. He has been having a lot of 'private' conversations with the boys lately, and being very vague with me about things."

Everyone stood silently thinking for a moment before Juvia finally spoke up, "Hey Lucy? Isn't your birthday coming up soon?"

"Well yeah, in a little over a month," Lucy spoke.

"Maybe he's planning a surprise party for you then!" Levy chimed in. 

"Yeah, but if that were to be the case," Erza spoke trying to reason everything out as they started to resume walking towards class and looking for the guys, "The guys would have told us, for one they can't keep a secret to save their lives, for two you would think that they would want our help with being her best friends and all, and for three Jellal would be too afraid I might hurt him for keeping a secret."

The girls all laughed at the last sentence. Erza had a way of intimidating everyone, especially the guys. "Well since they want to play games.." Levy grinned evilly, "What do you say we play a little back? Let's make them crazy jealous this week."

"And how do you suggest we do that?" Lucy asked slightly intrigued.

Levy pulled the girls close to her and told them her plan. They all giggled at the idea. It was silly but it would be fun to tease the boys a little this week. They were all so content in their relationships that this just might stir up some fun for them all. 

When they finished talking they started walking again. After a few minutes they finally had made it up the stairs and turned the corner when they finally spotted the boys. They were all standing around whispering quietly. 

"And what do you pain in the asses think your doing?" Erza spoke up very firmly. This made all the guys jump.

"Oh shit!" Jellal shouted in surprise his eyes getting big. "H-hey baby!" He smiled nervously as Erza walked over towards him. "I brought you something." He smiled holding out a bag in front of him as if it were a magical shield. She took it from him and opened it, looking inside.

"Strawberry cake!" She squealed, hugging him. "Thank you Jellybear!" She squealed in a completely un-Erza like fashion. 

Everyone burst out laughing. "Jellybear huh?" Gajeel smirked. Jellal turned redder then Erza's hair. 

"Eerrzzaa!" He half whined half moaned out. Everyone burst laughing even harder. "I'm never gonna live this down." He mumbled putting his head down in embarrassment. 

"Oh definitely not!" Natsu burst out laughing as he walked over and put his arm around Lucy. "Hey Princess." He grinned leaning in and kissing her on the forehead. "Did you miss me?"

"Well it depends on what you were up here talking about.." She smirked at him. He looked at her and laughed. 

"You'll find out soon enough." He winked at her. Juvia squealed in delight when she finally saw Gray mixed up in the group "Gray!" She screamed as she ran and jumped in his arms kissing him all over his face. 

"What the hell?!" Gray yelled stumbling back trying to hold Juvia up before they both fell. "Why are you here Juiva?!" He yelled quite flustered. 

"Gray, I transferred schools this year so I could be closer to you!" She leaned back grinning.

"Gggrrreeeeaaaaatttt,"  Gray mumbled obviously embarrassed and frustrated. Lucy laughed this was definitely going to be an interesting year.
