Lucy starred into the deep onyx eyes of the pinkette down on one knee in front of her holding a ring. "Are you serious, Natsu?" She asked as a smiled crossed her face and tears started to fall from her face. "You really want to spend the rest of your life with me?"

"There has never been anyone other than you, Luce." Their eyes never broke away from each other as he continued to speak. "I want you, I've always wanted you, I have always loved only you, and I want the world to know that. I want a family with you. I want to grow old and have children, and one day long from now grandchildren. A family that we can watch grow up together. You are my life Lucy, you're the only thing that matters to me. "

She reached her hand down and stroked his cheek, "Then yes Natsu! Yes I will marry you!" She smiled as he stood and took her in her arms and kissed her passionately as everyone around them cheered.

"Yay for Nalu and the future of 33 babies!!" Mira Jane shouted from the crowd. Everyone burst out laughing, including the two love birds who still held each other closely. Natsu put the ring on her finger and smiled.

"You are officially mine now an forever," He spoke as he looked back into her eyes. She smiled as tears of joy fell down her cheeks.

Lucy looked up at the sky. The stars seemed brighter to her tonight then any time she had looked at them in the past. She could feel her mother's presence in those stars. "Thank you mother." She spoke silently, "Thank you for bringing me back to him."

Natsu stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist as he and his chin on top of head. "Are you happy my princess? Is it everything you hoped for?" He whispered in her ear. She snuggled her back into his chest as she folded her arms over top of his.

"It is better then anything I could have ever imagined," She replied. "Everything I ever could have wanted is coming true. My life now, the friends I have made, and finding you. It all feels like a dream. I keep wanting to pinch myself to make sure that I'm not going to wake up from a dream."

Natsu giggled as he moved his head and kissed her neck gently. "I promise you it's not a dream and if you really want, I can awaken you myself just to show you." Lucy blushed at the thought of what Natsu really meant in that moment.

The party continued on in the early hours of the morning, after all there was a lot to celebrate. As the party started to wind down again Lucy stood out on the terrace looking back at everyone. She smiled as she looked at all her friends and the way they had all grown and changed in the past year. She watched as Levy and Gajeel danced on the dance floor together, an akward sight given how large Gajeel was and how petite Levy was, but at the same time they were perfect for each other. She smiled at how cute Gray and Juvia were together talking to some people. Gray was leaned against the while as Juvia leaned against him and his arm laid wrapped around her shoulder. She drove him absolutely crazy the way she doted over him all the time, but you could tell Gray secretly loved it, no matter how much he tried to play it off. Then there was Erza and Jellal. She laughed as she watched Jellal sitting looking at the beautiful red head who was in heaven as she ate a piece of strawberry cake. Then there was Mira Jane. As odd as she was she was a wonderful spirit. She always was there to comfort them and give them guidance when it was needed. Lucy felt as though she truly was blessed. As she sat there thinking about everything, twirling the weight of her new ring on her finger, Natsu walked out and leaned against the rail next to her.

"What are you thinking about, beautiful?" He asked.

"Actually, I was thinking that Erza probably loves that strawberry cake more then she loves Jellal." Lucy grinned. Natsu laughed as he looked at the odd couple sitting at the table.

"You are probably right." He said as he leaned his head back and looked at the sky above him. "Are you thinking about anything else?" He asked. Lucy looked at him before she turned herself towards him and wrapped her arms around his waist. She laid her head on his chest and took in his masculine scent.

"I was just thinking about how much we have all changed and how close we have all grown since I got here last year." Natsu looked down at her and kissed her forehead. Then he looked out at the room and to each of his friends.

"Yeah we really have," he spoke quietly, "And it's thanks to you Luce." She looked up into his eyes.

"Me?" she asked.

"Well yeah, aside from me and Gray, none of us were really that close. I mean Jellal and Gajeel have been my friends for some time, and we knew Erza, but none of us spent time together like we do now. Had it not been for you coming in and building friendships with everyone then there's no telling how we would all be right now. You brought all of us together."

Lucy looked into his eyes and smiled. "That's exactly how I feel about you."

"Oh really?" He grinned down at her and kissed her lips. His tongue caressing her lip asking for entrance. She opened her mouth and was over taken by the deepening of his kiss. After a moment of passion he released his grip from her lips and looked down at her flustered face. "How else do you feel about me?" He asked.

She giggled at him as she stood on her toes pulling herself close and whispered in his ear, "Why don't we go home and you can find out."
