EXPLANATION TIME!!!!
(Please read this even if you understood everything to far, because this goes into a bit more detail!)

OOOOkay! So. Let's start off with Raphael (L/n). He was orphaned when he was 16 and met William on the streets. William let him join the grim reapers and he quickly grew into one of the best that they had ever had. At the age of 17, Raphael was scheduled to reap the soul of Mikami Fukoshima. Raphael fell in love with her and, because this is against the rules, left the G.R.S. Raphael and Mikami got married and had a child. (F/n) (L/n). Soon after, a group called Anti-Reapers caught a group of Raphael's friends and wanted them to be burned for messing with the souls of humans. Raphael convinced the Anti-Reapers to go through a trial, heard by the highest court in the country. The judges decided that the Reapers were only doing their job, and let them go free. They were furious, and hacked into the G.R.S. data base and found out where some of them lived. They got together and burned some of the houses down.
(F/n) (L/n) was saved by Dr. Fujimoto and he was put in charge of taking care of her. Raphael made it out of the fire, but was furious about his wife's death. He stayed in his house for about 3 days, then showed up at the G.R.S. door and just stared at it. He wouldn't talk or even move. He just stood there. Some people tried to convince him to come inside but he wouldn't budge. He did this twice a week. After about four weeks, he finally went inside to see you. After the 3rd visit to see you, he told William that Dr. Fujimoto was doing experiments on you. He tried five times to convince him, but William still wouldn't listen. So Raphael took an unauthorized reaper scythe and tried to kill Dr. Fujimoto. He struck his left arm with the scythe but that was all he was able to do before security threw him out. So William thought that it would be best for him to be put into a psychiatric facility.
They applied him to the Lunatic Asylum, where he was soon admitted to. He lived there for a week. The G.R.S. got a phone call saying that Raphael was fit to live on his own again, and was released. He lived out his life for about a month, making new friends. the G.R.S. kept a close eye on him, and every few weeks, they would question the friends that he's made. They would ask them how he was doing, if he showed any signs of insanity, etc.
Raphael slowly started to "Steal" The memories of his friends and had replaced them with his own, insane memories. Slowly, his friends wanted to kill Dr. Fujimoto. About a week after the G.R.S. knew something was wrong, they received a letter from the Lunatic Asylum, saying that they had found video footage of someone with a tattoo on his ankle, breaking into Raphael's room, and giving him drugs as well as doing tests on him. That's when (F/n) (L/n) recognized the tattoo on the paper.
