When you made it back to the mansion, the moon was high in the sky. You and Sebastian were in your room. You were changing into your nightgown. "Their behavior was unacceptable. Please accept my apologies." Sebastian said, bowing.
"It's alright. I wasn't hurt or disturbed by it, so it's okay....Hey....Sebastian?"
"Yes?"
You hesitated. "Do you think....Do you think I could have had a boyfriend?"
Sebastian stopped to look at you, awkwardly. "Well... It's possible. He may just not be able to contact you. I'm sure he's heard by now."
"Right..." You said, lost in your thoughts. 'Or maybe he was happy and now he won't have to deal with me...'
"The moon is already quite high. You should get some sleep." Sebastian said, helping you into bed.
"Thank you for taking me out today, Sebastian. I had fun."
He smiled. "It was not a problem." You blushed and looked at his eyes. They flashed a scary pink color. You shook your head. "What's wrong?" Sebastian looked puzzled.
"Oh, n-nothing..." 'I must be tired. There's no way...' You turned over as Sebastian grabbed the candles.
"Well, good night then, lady, (F/n). If you should need me, just call." '
Don't count on it.' You thought as he blew out the candles and left the room.
You sat in silence for about ten minutes. Then the only sound was the tiny taps of rain hitting the window. Then a rumble of thunder made you shudder. 'Oh, no...' You grabbed a pillow and a blanket. You then quietly opened the door and silently ran down the hall. You found a door that led to the basement. You stepped into the dark and closed it behind you. You carefully walked down the stairs, opened the last door, shut it, and found yourself in a basement with boxes of tea and other foods. It was cold, wet, and smelled a little bit like mold. You tossed your pillow down in the far corner of the basement where you couldn't see the door. You wrapped yourself in your blanket before you laid down on the floor. A rumble of thunder shook the mansion. You covered your ears and curled up into a ball. All of a sudden you heard the small window on the other side of the basement open. You covered your mouth and tried to keep quiet. 'Someone's in here with me!!'
