Chappy 45
One week after dozing-off-while-on-the-phone passed without much ado. (Y/n) sat on the sofa, watching a late night movie while eating chips. It was a school night and she was supposed to be sleeping but after some so-called wise and careful consideration, she had decided that watching the movie was more important than sleeping early.
The female dug her hand into the packet and brought the handful of chips to her ready mouth, her eyes totally glued to the TV. She had turned off the lights, the whole room illuminated by the light and sudden flashes coming from the television.
Her phone started to ring, the sound startling her a bit and she sent it a bothered glance. She leaned forward a bit to peek at the caller ID and saw that it was Shouto calling.
She stuffed the packet of chips in between her thighs and grabbed the phone with her clean hand. She accepted it and placed it to her ear.
"Yeah?" she said as she resumed watching her movie.
"Hi."
"What's up?"
"Sorry for calling so late but I'll be out of town for a while," Shouto informed.
(Y/n)'s eyebrows creased. "Huh? From when?"
"Tonight," he answered, distaste laced in his voice. "Apparently the old man is forcing us to go for a family visit to Osaka. Something about relations. I have no choice apparently but to go."
"Oh, okay," she dug her hand into the packet of chips and took one before brought it to her mouth. "But tonight, wow, so sudden. How long are you going for?"
"One week," he quickly responded.
(Y/n)'s mind had already drifted back to the television and was frowning, wondering why the protagonist was so dumb before she realized she was still on the phone.
"That's...too bad..." she lamely said as she tried to figure out what he said. She hoped she hadn't noticed that she wasn't even paying attention. "You're...gonna miss a lot of school work?"
"I'll catch up quickly."
"Yeah," she scoffed, glad that she had caught up with the conversation. "If you need a tutor, I'm right here."
"Sure, I can always count on my smart girlfriend," he said.
"Yeah, I'm smart," she brought the forgotten chip to her lips and licked it. "Super smart."
"And yet you fail at combat," Shouto said, most probably smiling.
(Y/n)'s smile dropped, replaced by a frown. "That's mean."
"Anyway," he added. "I have to go. We're almost leaving now."
"Oh," (Y/n) slowly nodded. "Okay. Have a safe trip. Bye."
"Bye," he said before hanging up.
(Y/n) tossed the phone beside her on the couch even without looking and shoved the chip into her mouth, her mind already getting consumed by the movie she was watching.

"Good morning," Mr. Aizawa greeted the class monotonously as he placed a blue file on the podium.
"Good morning!" the students replied in unison.
"Todoroki is not present and won't be until next week," some students turned to look at his rarely empty seat before the teacher's voice gained their attention once more. The dark-haired male sighed and opened the file. "But that's just a by the way. Back to the matter hand, today we're going to do a physical practice, which will focus solely on teamwork and the ability to communicate with your fellow teammates."
"A physical test?" Ojiro questioned.
"No," Aizawa said as he clicked his pen and ticked off something in his file. "You will all be split into two groups. One will be a hero group while the other will be the villain group. As similar as it sounds to the first lesson you all had, this one will be different. You'll all be working together and against each other at the same time. As much as some of you hate working together," he shot a pointed look at Katsuki, who scowled. "This activity will be tested on leadership skills, the ability to assess the situation and act upon it, your team's strategy, how you handle your opponent and lastly, how you handle your surroundings."
"Mr. Aizawa!" Iida shot up from his seat, his arm raised straight in the air.
The man turned his bored gaze to the diligent class rep. "Yes?"
He lowered his arm back to his side and bowed at a ninety-degree angle. "I apologize for the intrusion!" he straightened up. "Aren't activities like these supposed to be supervised by All Might? I understand that this is homeroom and not Hero Studies so if you may, will you clear up the misunderstanding?!"
"Oh yeah," the teacher said as Iida sat back down and turned to the rest of the class. "I forgot to mention. Due to some prior engagements, All Might won't be attending today's class so whatever he was to teach, I took it upon myself to do so. What this means is that during his lesson, you'll be having a free period."
A series of low murmurs and various hisses of 'yessss' sounded through the classroom.
"If only you cheered like that when given more lessons instead of less," Aizawa's scornful voice cut through the excited air, silencing everyone. "Then maybe I wouldn't have gotten such disgraceful results during the midterms, now would I?"
(Y/n)'s eyebrows rose and her eyes flickered anywhere else that was not on Aizawa, lips pursed in shame considering she knew that she was one of those celebrating.
Satisfied with the air of shame that hung in his class, Aizawa grabbed his file, tucked it under his arm and began heading towards the class door.
"Meet me in Ground Beta in your costumes," he instructed. "Ten minutes. Dismissed."
***
The students of class 1-A stood around Aizawa in Ground Beta as they awaited instructions of the day's activity. He had already told them what they were going to do, all that was left was for the teams to be announced.
"Um...how will the teams be divided?" Tohru asked after Aizawa was done explaining where the villains will be based.
"Easy," the teacher said, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Girls will be the heroes while boys, the villains."
That's lazy. Everyone thought in tandem.
"Wait what?" Mina rose an eyebrow. Aizawa turned to the girl with a bored look. "How does that work? There's like a ratio of 7:13. That's pretty unfair."
"Alright," the man turned to a particular sparkling boy. "Aoyama."
Aoyama perked up with a smile. "Oui, monsieur?"
"Join the girls," he ordered before turning back to the Mina. "Now you're 8:12. Seems fair."
All the girls gave him wry looks. That doesn't help.
Once the girls, together with Aoyama and the boys had separated into two groups and were standing across each other, Aizawa went ahead to further his explanation.
"The idea of this test is to put you," he turned to the girls (and Aoyama). "The heroes, in a situation where you'll be outnumbered. Quite like back in USJ. In this one, the villains will have both numbers and raw power and a clever strategy to reckon with. You will be required to come up with a plan that will outmaneuver them in both combat and power. This will be a challenge for all you," his expression hardened. "As rash as it seems to pit you against the boys, when you becomes pro-heroes you will find yourself in situations such as these more times than one so whatever you learn today be sure to remember it. Are we clear?"
"Yes, sir!" the girls (and Aoyama) said in tandem.
Aizawa then turned to the boys. "Villains. Don't let your guard down. I'm sure these girls will do anything and everything to win. So put your hormones first in this test and I'll grade you an 'F' faster than you can go back to the locker room and cool off, are we clear?"
Most boys gulped at the chilling look Aizawa gave them and quickly nodded.
"Sir?" Yaoyorozu rose her hand and Aizawa turned to her. "How will the winners be determined?"
"How? Easy. There will be two ways. The first, if the heroes manage to reach the villain's base, they win. Second, if none manage to reach the base and they all get wiped out, villains win. The only loophole will be, the last one standing will win it all for their team. That option will depend on whether both opposing sides engage in battle so go all out. Remember, you are reenacting a real-life scenario so do whatever it takes to win," he said.
"Whatever it takes?" Katsuki smirked.
"Whatever it takes," Aizawa looked at Izuku. "Midoriya, remember what I said?"
"Yes!" Izuku answered, fists tightly clenched at his sides.
"Good," he turned around to leave and waved them off. "Split up and begin strategizing."
***
The girls and Aoyama all sat in a circle in one of the buildings as they began their strategy meeting.
"Alright!" Mina pumped her fist in the air with a grin. "Let's begin; Operation: Defeat the Boys and Crash their Base!"
"Yes!" Tohru joined in, her glove raised high in the air beside Mina.
"So, any plans?" (Y/n) smiled at the two before turning to the others. "Should we attack together or split up? Or should we choose a team leader who's gonna crash the base?"
"I think we should attack together," Jirou suggested.
Uraraka tilted her head to the side. "But isn't that what they'd be expecting?"
"They'll be expecting a lot of things but that's not one of them," (Y/n) scratched her head. "Knowing them, or some of them, they'd be picking out who they'll go after individually."
"Hmm, (Y/n) is right," Tsuyu said, a finger pressed to her chin. "They'll be acting upon their friendships because they'd know how to deal well with someone they know better. For example, I wouldn't be surprised if Bakugou goes after her specifically."
"Yes," Mina grinned and sent Uraraka a wink. "Or Midoriya to go after Uraraka."
"Or Kaminari to go after Jirou," Yaoyorozu commented with a knowing smile.
"Or Kirishima to go after Mina," Jirou said, rolling her eyes at Yaoyorozu's words.
"Or Tokoyami to go after-" Tohru said.
"Okay," (Y/n) cut her off and gave the girls disapproving looks. "Are we going to sit here and name all of them?"
"Yeah!" Jirou agreed before turning to Mina with a challenging look. "And why wouldn't Iida go for Uraraka?"
Her comment made color rise to Uraraka's cheeks and (Y/n) facepalmed.
"Guys!" she said. "This is not really important!"
"Guys! Guys!" Mina called out while excitedly clapping her hands. "I just got a great ide-
"Wouldn't Sero go for Mina?" Tsuyu said, cutting her short.
(Y/n) groaned. "Guys!"
"No, Kaminari would definitely go for Mina. I'm sparkling sure," Aoyama said, finally making his presence known.
"Guys!" the (h/c)-haired female repeated, her tone getting impatient.
"Why not Bakugou to go for Mina?" Uraraka suggested with a chuckle.
"Bakugou? Not a chance," Jirou snorted. "I bet my money on Kirishima. Or Sero, but not so sure about him."
(Y/n) gave them a tired look. "Guys..."
"Wow! I didn't know I had a harem..." Mina muttered to herself with a smile before remembering what she was about to say. "I mean, guys! Listen! I have a plan that will work!"
Everyone fell silent, all turning towards Mina curious looks. (Y/n) sent them all an offended look before she threw her hands in the air with a "I give up".
"You have a plan?" Tsuyu asked the pink-haired girl, who nodded.
"Oh, Ashido," Yaoyorozu smiled. "Why didn't you say earlier?"
"I did!"
"You did?" Uraraka grinned while folding her arms on her lap. "Well, share with us!"
"Okay," a smirk appeared on Mina's face. "Listen up good because it's gonna blow someone's wig off."
***
"Dammit-fuck!" Katsuki let out a strangled sound as he struggled against (Y/n)'s thighs that were wrapped around his neck. He tried yanking them off but she tightnened their hold around his neck, significantly choking him.
"I know what you're thinking," (Y/n) smirked while she watched Katsuki try to get out of her submission hold. She had her upper body supported up by her elbow as one hand lay on his chest, thin wisps of smoke rising up from her flattened palm. "You must be wondering how you got yourself into this position. How lame."
The ash-blond didn't reply to her taunts, simply because talking while suffocating made his fucking throat and lungs hurt. But even though he didn't want to waste his precious breath answering her, he hated the fact that she was right. He really was wondering how the fuck he managed to get his stupid self in that position.
The activity had started out fairly well, with him and the rest of the dumb fucks coming up with a plan to annihilate those wannabe heroes and come out the sole winner. Stupid Deku had suggested that they work together but since everyone had their own suggestions, they had ended up going their own ways and choosing which territory to guard. The only thing they agreed on was to make Katsuki the final boss to protect the base since he was the strongest and not that he was the fucking boss (Katsuki's own reasoning sadly).
Even though he was the final obstacle, he had set his sights on (Y/n) because he had a feeling that she would come for him and true to his thoughts, she did come for him.
Only, she didn't fucking come alone.
As it turned out, the girls and the blonde Walmart Ken were better in working together than the fucknuts he was teamed up with and they had all managed to double cross the boys. The tricked boys chased after the girls, who led them directly to Katsuki's territory and that's where an all-out war broke out.
Not letting the war faze him, he pinpointed (Y/n) manuevering through the chaos, going directly after their base and he blasted after her. But then, the girls, again, had it all planned out.
Uraraka stepped in his way and began fighting him in an attempt to distract him from her but after a quick battle, he unregrettably sent a blast directly to the brunette's face with the words: "Back off Uraraka. If anyone's taking that bitch down, it's me!"
With Uraraka down and out for the count, he hurtled towards (Y/n). When she noticed that he was hot on her heels, (Y/n) picked up the pace, never losing sight of the goal. They continued running after each other to a point that they managed to lose the others.
With a loud yell, Katsuki blasted large twin explosions to the sides and spread his arms wide to increase his momentum. In a split second, he crashed into her back, tackling her face first to the ground. They instantly began wrestling, with (Y/n) struggling to shake him off while shouting how she had to win it for her team.
Little did she know that once Katsuki had her in his arms, there was no way he was going to let her go.
They fought and just when Katsuki thought that she was about to fall, he heard Kirishima's distant yell, saying something along the lines of Tohru was running towards their base through the commotion. This distracted Katsuki and it was all (Y/n) needed to wrap her thighs around his neck and cause him to topple to the ground.
Of course, he should've seen it coming. Tohru wasn't going for their base and neither was (Y/n) in the first place. They had made their plan so that the villains didn't know who was going for the base. Because in all actuality, no one was. It was so simple it made him feel so stupid.
The little shits had managed to bamboozle him and he would've blasted the whole training ground if it weren't for (Y/n)'s legs choking the soul out of him.
None of his teammates were coming because they were too busy trying to prevent the heroes from breaking through and he was left with (Y/n) to deal with, not that he needed any help in the first place.
He should've known that they would've chosen battling it out but that option was so far from his mind because he had thought that the girls would chicken out due to their fewer numbers and vote on who would go for the base instead.
Boy was he wrong. And he had two strong thighs around his neck to prove it.
If it were a different situation in the same position, maybe he wouldn't have been feeling so murderous about it.
"You should really give up, Fireworks," (Y/n) let out a cruel, breathy chuckle, reminding him of the annoying situation he was in. "It's only you and I left. No one's coming."
"Heh...must be proud..." he coughed and glared her smug face. "Today marks the first time in history you weren't such a *cough* dumbass..."
(Y/n) frowned and squeezed harder. "I guess you don't understand the situation you're in, Katsuki. You're in no position to mock me."
Katsuki wheezed and coughed as he dug his blunt nails into her knees. He had tried blasting them off before but (Y/n)'s hand kept a firm grip on his chest. One wrong move and he'd suffer the wrath of lava heated up to a thousand degrees as punishment. And she wasn't joking around. His charred costume vest and the burns on his chest were proof enough but damn it all if he was going to give up so easily.
His chest heaved up and down heavily due to the limited air getting into his lungs. Sweat trailed down his temple and he gnashed his teeth together. Angry, srained veins popped out on his temples and neck. His muscles screamed due to exhaustion and he started to see black dots appearing in his vision but that wasn't enough to make him give up. Over his dead, cold ass body.
"Fuck...off," he rasped out and took in a quick, needed breath of sweet air. "I'd rather...die...shit!"
"You're pretty determined, aren't you?" (Y/n) narrowed her eyes and smirked, all the while tightening her legs around him further to a point that his face was slowly turning blue. "Maybe I should just squeeze it all out of you, one spirit after another."
(Y/n) was subtly shocked with how villainous she sounded but she had no time to think about it as getting Katsuki to give up was priority.
"Give up dammit!" she hissed through gritted teeth. She knew she couldn't squeeze any further, otherwise she's definitely kill him. All she wanted was to hear those glorious words coming out of his mouth the same way he forced her to give up during the sports festival.
She snorted, that was a good time.
"Well?" she baited impatiently as she watched him struggle to pull her legs apart.
"I said...I'd...rather..." he choked out a strained cough in his last attempt to speak. "...Die...bitch..."
(Y/n)'s eyes narrowed in offense and just when she was about to deliver his "punishment" to his abused chest, his eyes rolled to the back of his head and his body went completely limp.
Her eyes widened and her hold around his neck faltered. Her guard remained high as it could've been a trick to make her let go. She gently poked his cheek but received no response.
Slowly but surely, she unwrapped her legs from around and got up to her feet. She watched his face and saw color returning to his face as oxygen re-entered his lungs. Carefully, she nudged his side with her toe of her boots but he still remained the same, unconscious.
She threaded a hand through her hair and sighed. At least he was still breathing. Her shoulders went limp and she turned her head towards the direction of their base. It wasn't so far off, she could practically see the entrance.
She dusted herself off as as sense of victory and relief washed over her and she smiled.
Girls totally rule.
***
"Oh, come on Katsuki," (Y/n) chuckled as she tried to get a good look of Katsuki's face. "You can't possibly still be mad about the test. That was like, five hours ago."
Katsuki continued looking away from (Y/n) as they walked home, his lips set in a hard scowl as he childishly glared at the side. Ever since he regained consciousness after the test that morning, he had been giving her the silent treatment and was determined to keep going.
He had woken up in the nurse's office only to remember that (Y/n) had suffocated him to unconsciousness. And not only that, on returning to class, he found that he had been graded a 'C' on the test and had missed an 'F' by a breadth only because he had refused to give up. In fact, the only boy who had the highest grade was Deku with a 'B-' because he had come up with a good plan and acted accordingly or whatever the fucker did. Deku had gotten a fucking higher grade than him. Him!
He had never gotten anything less than an 'A-' and yet there he was with a fucking 'C' in his report!
And to add salt to the aggravated injury, (Y/n) had scored a perfect 'A'. Actually, all the girls and Ao-fucking-yama had 'A's.
And (Y/n) still wondered why he wasn't talking to her.
The little fucker nudged his side with her elbow and laughed when he shuffled away from her. "You don't have the right to be mad. I won the fight fair and square. Besides, it's your fault for not working together."
Katsuki remained silent and she frowned. She looked around to figure out what else she could say before the memory of the fight crossed her mind.
She snorted and turned back to him. "But seriously though, you should've seen your face when I put you in that lock. You were trying so hard to get out and your face looked like-" she demonstrated a terrible mimic of his suffocating face before bursting into laughter.
Katsuki increased his pace, leaving her doubled over ass behind. (Y/n) tried catching up to him, while at the same time laughing her ass off while wheezing.
"I'm sorry!" she wrapped an arm around her aching lungs as she latched on to Katsuki's shirt. "I'm-Aha! So-sorry!"
The boy jerked his body away from her. "Get away from me!"
(Y/n)'s laughter made her too weak to continue walking and she placed her hands on her knees as she continued laughing. At one point, no sound was coming out and she had her mouth wide open as she tried to get some air into her aching lungs.
When she looked up and noticed that Katsuki had gotten further away from her, she tried to yell out a 'wait!' but all that came out was more laughter.
Soon enough, she managed to catch up to him and keep her laughing to a minimum. She wiped her tears away while latching on to Katsuki's arm once more.
This time he didn't shove her off when she laid her head on his shoulder.
"Okay fine," she breathed out and smiled to the side. She bit her lip and suppressed a laughter. She quickly cleared her throat and turned to Katsuki. "Why don't we settle this then with a good old rematch? Your choice."
The ash-blond remained silent as he glared at the cobblestone path. He wanted to be stubborn a little while longer but he couldn't. Not when he could feel those eyes of hers burn into the side of his head.
He should've probably remained silent for two more months, enough to make her rethink her decisions but next time but he wouldn't waste an opportunity to get back at her for what she did.
He sighed and kissed his teeth.
"Alright. Fine," he gave a dirty side eye and jerked his arm away from her hold. "And don't touch me. I still hate your guts."
***
"An arcade?" (Y/n) looked around the place, her face lighting up in delight at the various games that were on offer. The place was packed with many teenagers their age, wearing different uniforms from different schools. That fact made them feel like they belonged.
Katsuki looked at the girl incredulously. "You've never played a game?!"
"Yeah?" she answered, arching an eyebrow at him.
"What do you for a living?" Katsuki asked her, squinting his crimson-colored eyes at her.
"I breathe in and out," she shrugged in nonchalance, staring blankly at Katsuki.
"Great. Now we can't have a rematch because of your dumb ass," the ash-blond scoffed and grabbed her arm. "Come on. Let's get you into some basics."
He pulled her to a game machine, let go of her arm and put in a coin in the machine. The game began, the logo flashing on the screen along with its theme music. It was a battle game, with Katsuki having his own avatar.
"Now watch and learn," Katsuki smirked at (Y/n) before looking back at the game.
He began pressing various buttons in a rapid fashion while (Y/n) watched. He instantly beat his opponent, the words 'YOU WIN' flashing on the screen. He crossed his arms over his chest and smirked at (Y/n) victoriously.
"Congratulations," (Y/n) said listlessly. "Come I clap for you."
Katsuki's smirk twisted into an angry sneer, uncrossing his arms to ball his hands into fists.
"Let's see you do it, then!!!" he jeered and stepped aside for the girl to take his place in front of the game.
(Y/n) cracked her knuckles as she waited for the game to load.
The game was over before she even started.
Her mouth hang open in stark bafflement as she stared at the large, ominous 'YOU'RE DEAD' flashing wildly on the screen. Katsuki snickered at her expression and grew more amused when she claimed the game to be rigged.
"Move over, noob," he sniggered, bumping the side of his body against hers, pushing her roughly out of the way.
He began the game once more and within a few minutes, he won. He looked back at the girl who was scowling at him enviously.
"See?" he pointed at the screen. "It ain't that hard."
"Shut up," (Y/n) flipped him off before pushing him out of the way. She took his place once more and started the game. She still made the same mistakes as before and the game was starting to frustrate her. Her brows were furrowed in concentration and the opponent was making her want melt the machine.
"You're doing it all wrong," Katsuki reprimanded her and moved to stand behind the girl. His hands went over hers and swatted them out of the way. He grabbed the buttons and began playing in her place.
(Y/n), on the other hand, was frozen. Her back was against his chest and she could literally feel his heartbeat. His head was beside hers as he concentrated on the game, making her feel his breath on the side of her face. Her face was flushed as her heart quickened its pace.
She recalled the first time she was in this position. At that time, she felt uncomfortable and suffocated. But this time, she strangely felt good. Considering the fact her ass was against his front. Actually, she found herself not wanting him to move.
The reason for her reaction was unknown to her.
What am I-?
"Uh..." she began, her breath coming out short, her mind jumbling up making her incapable of speech.
"And done," Katsuki announced, moving away from the girl. "See. Wasn't too fucking hard now was it?"
"Huh?" (Y/n) blinked, realizing that he was done and now standing beside her. "Oh uh...yeah."
She looked away from him, hiding her flustered face from him. She was both confused and embarrassed about her feelings, considering Katsuki looked unfazed by the whole thing.
The male knitted his eyebrows at her lack of eye contact. "Hey! Fuck's wrong with you?!"
"I'm fine!" she snapped back, her eyes searching for a distraction before they landed on a racing game not too far.
"Let's go there," she pointed at it, already making her way towards it.
Katsuki sighed and followed her nevertheless. "Changing games doesn't change the fucking fact you suck."
"Whatever..." (Y/n) muttered, starting the game while still avoiding looking at the boy, gluing her eyes at the screen.
What the fuck is happening to me?!
***
(Y/n) and walked with Katsuki in silence back home. It was almost late, going to six actually.
All through at the arcade, (Y/n) hadn't concentrated on the game or what Katsuki was teaching her.
The girl kept sneaking glances at him, wondering why she had reacted that way to him.
Physical attraction? No, it can't be...but what if it is? Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! How did I let it get to this?! I think I've been spending too much time with him. Maybe a break will clear my head.
With these thoughts, (Y/n) stopped in her tracks making Katsuki stop too and look back at her.
"Here is good," she said, sending him a strained smile. "I'll walk home from here."
"Huh?" Katsuki frowned, arching a puzzled eyebrow at her. "What the fuck do you mean?"
(Y/n) suddenly felt mentally worn out. She had been thinking too much about her weird feelings that she was left tired. Thinking up an excuse proved to be a chore. As if she wasn't tired already.
She sighed lethargically. "I mean-"
"HELP US!!!"
The two turned their heads towards the direction of the piercing scream. As if noticing it now, she realized that there was a concentrated large amount of heat coming from a general direction.
"Fire..." she voiced out aloud, making Katsuki shoot her a confused look. She turned to look at Katsuki with a frown. "A building...it's on fire!!!"
